Firebugs

Deep in the wilderness, a lonely inventor works on his latest a mechanical insect that can fly for over a hundred miles without stopping. When the forest around him becomes engulfed in flames, however, he soon discovers he is not the only one working on such devices.

This is a short story from an upcoming collection titled, "Corridors". It is approximately 1,900 words in length.

Género. Relato.

Lo que nos cuenta. El Dr. Ferganut trabaja en unos insectos mecánicos que puedan volar grandes distancias controlados por sistemas informáticos. El doctor vive en una zona boscosa apartada y últimamente se han dado muchos casos de incendios forestales. Cuando se encuentra en la tienda del pueblo más cercano con el Dr. Minton, antiguo amigo y rival, es toda una sorpresa.
