Rate this book
Just how well do you ever really know someone?
Things for Sassi couldn't be much worse. She'd lost everything behind her infidelity but no matter what, she was determined not to give up. She wanted her life back. She wanted her husband back too. But he wasn't making it easy. And on top of everything else, she still had to deal with the infamous Polo.
They say that sometimes a person can be a blessing and a curse and there are those times that what looks like a mistake, could actually be a blessing in disguise. The problem is that no one ever realizes it, until it's just too late.
Lies are told and secrets unfold and Sassi finds herself in more mess and more trouble then she knew how to get herself out of.
Who can she trust?
Who should she love?
And more importantly, who in the heck is Vanessa?

What happens when the truth doesn't actually set you free? What if it damn near kills you instead?
A woman must always remember you are playing with fire, when you allow you husband's best friend into your bed.

All I keep saying is OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!! This book didn't' do anything that I expected it to do. One minute I just knew we were about to go right and I would keep reading and the next thing I knew we were going left or making a u-turn. Every surprising twist was better than the one before. Sassi, Sassi, Sassi!!! I can admit and say that after reading book 1 and at the initial start of book 2 she wasn't my favorite person. I have a difficult time reconciling a woman cheating on her husband.(I know double standard but just call me old-fashioned). With that being said even Stevie Wonder could see the sizzling HOT FIRE that Sassi and Polo had kindled between the two of them. I know Eddie was her husband but you know when you see a couple out in your mind you ask the question WHY ARE THEY TOGETHER THEY DON'T FIT??? That's the very thing that was going through my mind each and everytime that I envisioned Sassi and Polo together. I absolutely HAD NO CLUE how Ms. Hardin was going to pull all of this together and yet she did it so eloquently that my mouth was left hanging when I came to the conclusion of this masterfully written tale. I just don't know if I've EVER read a romantic suspense quite like this one. Ms. Hardin completely worked her fingers to the bone to bring us this 5-star read. All I can say is I will anxiously stalk the pages of Amazon and everywhere else to ensure that I NEVER miss out on a BM Hardin book again!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!

Okay look I just hate. Well, not hate, I use to not like Polo but after reading this book, I sort of liked him with his crazy self. But all along it wasn't him the crazy one. And Eddie and Mickey chile that's all I'm a say lmao I didn't see any of the stuff that happened in this book coming at all I was getting surprised through the whole book. Plus me having Dyscalculia I can understand Sassi situation. I enjoyed this book though from beginning to end I read it in like one day. I guess you can say I wanted to know what happened bad lmao.

This was not at all what I expected. I loved the first book, but this one, not so much. Some of the twists being thrown in didn't make as much sense as Hardin's books usually do and I didn't like the reasons given for the events that took place. Still, it's not a bad read, it just went totally left from the story that was built in book 1. Her writing, as always, was on point though, so I give it a 4.

After hearing her husband, lover and her bff Micki plotting against her Sassi does everything in her power to figure out the mysterious behaviors, lies and deceit from all the people in her life. She goes on a mission to seek out the truth only to discover that the secrets are all for her benefit and protection. Suspenseful and fast paced. Got it read within 24hrs. 5 stars.

Whomp ! Whomp !

I'm so surprised at the misspellings in this book . BM Hardin is always on point , but this book says otherwise . This seem very rushed . The storyline went from BAD to WORST. Hunni delete this part 2 you owe us a good finish cause this was not your best work at all.

Follow up Failure

It started out good and then went downhill fast. Not believable at all that Sassi had an imaginary friend that EVERYONE knew about. This was confusing and not a good read.

I was so disappointed in this book. There is no way the same person wrong the 1st and 2nd book. TWH was very good. I really enjoyed it. TWH2 was all over the place. Complete chaos and so unbelievable. Hope there is not a 3.

While I really liked this book, it was not as good as the first book in the series. The conclusion seemed a little far fetched, but it still kept me interested. I will definitely read more books from this author.

Got Me!

This book was unbelievable. I was so confused from the first one and couldn't wait to get to the bottom of the lies and mysterious happenings. Wow! What a twist! I would definitely recommend this book to others. I'm sad that I'm done with both books.

Definitely Different!!

I'm giving 4 instead of five stars because even though this book was unique and also pretty good. I have a couple of complaints.... 1) the ending seemed rushed like the author smashed the whole purpose of the 2 books into the last 10 pages. 2) I get trying to be different and unique but sometimes I feel this author tries to hard to come up with different twists and turns to the point they don't even make sense, I her that it makes her books different but sometimes the endings just don't fit with the story.

This book was fabulous! Once I started reading, I became so caught up that I was finished I less than 3 hours! Loved the twists that BM has become an expert in writing. I love the fact I can never guess the ending no matter how hard I try- & this ending didn't disappoint! This is another must read by BM Hardin that I truly enjoyed & encourage all to check out!

What the what? BM Hardin, sister girl you have done it yet again. I'm going to need you to stop doing me like this. Those twist and turns had my mind on edge right along with Sassi. I would have never in a million years guessed that ending. Let's just say you have out done yourself with this one here. Thank you for sharing this with us from your mind to page. It was a beautiful work of fiction.

Omg! Very good series from the beginning to the end. I could not put this book down because the suspense was just off the chart. B.M. Hardin I love your work and I have read all of your books and all I can say is FANTASTIC! I am a fan for life and keep up the good work!

Ooooookkkkkkkk

Not what I was expecting..... Shocked and just as confused as Sassi, lol. They should've connected the mental illness in the first book. I did find it kind of strange that only Sassi told the story though, everybody else only were heard from when she was speaking. It was an OK ready, but it didn't come full circle like it should have.

This story felt really different from the first book. Although the characters had the same names, it was like I was reading a different story. Many parts were confusing. Toward the end, much explanation was provided that greatly helped, but I felt that overall, the story could have been tied together more tightly to make it more cohesive, and to make it a better match to the first book.

Ridiculous

No depth but nevertheless somewhat entertaining. The ending was entirely unexpected and should have been developed more to add intrigue.

The end was a big surprise. I'm not so sure that I like the ending. It's a little far fetched but hey it is a book. There are still too many grammatical errors for me.
