What happens when a random rendezvous in a hotel room changes your life forever? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BQGGEJM

SEX. LIES. SECRETS. DECEPTION.

Holden Danvers is the bad boy. The guy everyone warns you not to fall in love with. At twenty-two, he is a trust fund baby, rich enough to live his entire life without having to work and he uses that to his advantage.

Jamie Crawford can’t even talk to men, let alone have one-night stands. At twenty, she’s still a virgin and no one knows that because who would even believe her?
What happens when a seemingly fortuitous rendezvous in a hotel room changes their lives forever? And when Jamie realizes she’s falling for a guy she shouldn’t be falling for in a million years?

What happens when secrets unfold, and when lies and deception become their world?

IN A WORLD OF LIES, SECRETS AND DECEPTION, ALL YOU CAN HOPE FOR IS BROKEN LOVE.

#hashtag is a New Adult Romance about a group of friends who become trapped in a world of Lies, Sex and Deception. But when their love lives get tangled in the mess, they must find a way to fight the danger that surrounds them without hurting the person they are really, truly in love with and sometimes that means making sacrifices.
When you don’t know who’s lying and who isn’t, and when the lines of good and bad start to blur, will the friends be able to bury their secrets before the secrets bury them all?
How will they survive the online tabloid magazine #HASHTAG that seems hell bent on divulging the very secrets the friends are trying to protect? No one knows the true identity of the person they call #HT but it seems as though they are a little too obsessed with scandalizing the friends and revealing these secrets at the most inopportune times.

The H has a relationship with a married woman. this woman slap him in the face and she has sex with some oms too. The h is trying to sleep with om when she meets the H they have sex when they supposedly been drugged and have sex they think they're with their significant other and when I mean significant other I mean the people who are they sleeping with so both of them are disgusting cheaters.

Perfect. The title alone can describe this story line. Kady did an amazing job developing the characters in this novel. The first third of the book you get to see just a little insight too everyone. just enough of a blurb to keep your wheel turning and make you want more.

The plot is fanatic! You get the most delicious and evil twists and turns. This story is ultimately admit Jamie and Holden, but there's so much more than just them. There's this hidden big picture that is the biggest of all surprises toward the end.

Like I said before you get a little taste of all of the characters early on but Jamie, Holden and his mother are really the focus of Perfect. Jamie is this innocent girl thrown in this whirl wind and Holden is such a mess at the beginning. And his mother, she seems like this horrible person, but turns our she's just trying to protect her family.

I can't wait to see where this story takes us!

Kady Hunt is a new to me author as well as to the book world. I received an arc in exchange for an honest review. Hold on to your seats as this is a roller coaster ride of events and emotions that basically, are life. Sometimes these feeling and events hit all at once and others, they build and then BAM!

That is exactly what happens in this book. Friends, betrayal, lies, murder, drugs, mafia..... the whole crazy world in one story! At first it seems like a random acct of events, in reality, it's a mind blower~

The first book in the series is a great start to this adventure and if you like action pact, fast paced stories (kind of like life) you will not be disappointed.

This book has it all. Drama, romance, suspense, even murder. I was pleasantly surprised by how jaw dropping the plot twist was. You will not see it coming. I sure as hell didn't. At first I thought this book was a romantic chic book, cool enough. WRONG!!! It's a crazy thrill ride waiting to be taken.
I can not wait to see what happens in book 2!!! I can't decide which character I love more... Jaime, Holden, Teagues, Daniel....

I received an ARC of this book. While this may not be the most realistic book out there, I read to escape "the real world" so I liked it!

This book has everything - drama, romance, suspense, etc. If you're looking for a crazy ride with multiple POV's, this book is for you! Can't wait to see what happens to Holden and his friends in the next book.

This author did an amazing job with this story. The characters are well developed as well is the story line. I was intrigued from the beginning and I just couldn't put it down. There are some awesome twist and turns. The biggest of course is towards the end of the book. I can not wait for more.

Perfect is a boy meets girl story about Holden and Jamie who meet in Las Vegas. As the story unfolds Holden becomes a better person for having met Jamie. I feel that Holden's growth could have been more defined, but overall, I am happy I read this book.

Kady Hunt began this story by wading right into the thick of it. The problem for me was that I felt like I started in the middle of a story, and I had a hard time making sense of what was going on for nearly the entire first half of the book. There was just so much going on, I felt as though I couldn’t even blink because if I did I’d miss something important and then I’d never figure out what exactly was happening.

While I eventually got the gist of the plot, I’m definitely not comfortable enough with my understanding of it to recap it. The story was sometimes a little convoluted and, in parts, a bit unbelievable—at least for this jaded reader. It jumped around so much that it felt very disjointed and choppy. While this book mainly focused on Holden and Jamie, the points of view frequently shifted between the two of them AND Holden’s three friends—Teague, Sebastian and Daniel. Although this book is billed as as a romance, I felt that the romance was definitely a secondary subplot.

For the majority of this book, I just couldn’t shake the feeling that I was missing something. I went back and reread parts often. The way the plot was unfolding wasn’t making sense to me, and as a result I didn’t really feel that I fully understood what was going on or why it was happening and as such, I had a hard time becoming invested in this story. I didn’t fully understand the relationships between the players, and because of that, I found it extremely difficult to connect with any of them. There are so many players, but without getting a back story on any of them, they felt underdeveloped to me.

The reason I’m comfortable giving Kady Hunt’s Perfect three smooches is because even though there are some crucial elements to this story that just didn’t work for me as a reader or for my personal reading preferences, I can still appreciate the quality of the author’s writing. It was strong, and I reacted strongly to it. There were so many twists and turns, and while I wasn’t a fan of all of them, the author still handled them well. Perfect is the first book in Hunt’s #Hashtag series, and I assume as each book releases more and more of this story will unfold, at least that’s what the set up in this book leads me to believe. My biggest problem was that there was just too much going on, and I was left with too many unanswered questions. This felt like a cliffhanger, and I personally don’t appreciate going into a cliffhanger without knowing that I am doing so. I was, however, intrigued by this story, enough so that I finished it, but in the end, I was left feeling a bit frustrated when I finished it.

It all boils down to my personal preferences, and the fact that this type of story isn’t quite my thing. But, if you don’t mind a story that will unfold over the course of multiple books, if you enjoy enough twists and turns to rival a carnival ride, and if you don’t mind waiting for your questions to be answered, then I’d recommend you give this book a try because it has all of that. As I stated, the writing was good and the story concept was intriguing, and for those reasons, I’m giving it 3 smooches.

I'm the type of reader who doesn't *usually* read synopsis because I want to be surprised by what a new book could give me. When I volunteered to read and do a review for Perfect, I was just happy that I'm receiving an advanced reader copy (ARC), have a reason to post a review on my blog and at the same time, help an author to promote her book... little did I know that Perfect will boggle my mind.

“We sometimes encounter people, even perfect strangers, who begin to interest us at first sight, somehow suddenly, all at once, before a word has been spoken.”  ― Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Crime and Punishment

Before I started Chapter 1, this quote from the book struck me hard when I read it. It is a Perfect representation for how I feel about the books I meet. I’ve always had a hard time finding the words to describe that liking something can be instinctual. It happens. I don't read synopsis because when I read the first few chapters of a book, it's either a hook or miss. It got me rightfully curious.

As I go along with reading the book, all I could think about was, “What did I get myself into?”

At 11%, I’m lost. I’m confused. There’s so much stuff happening that I had to take a break and just let it sink. This book makes a 360 degree turn when you’re not expecting it. I’ve never been so wrong about something... until now.

Just a bit of a warning, as Holden would say, this is not a walk-in-the park kind of book. At first you’ll be confused… you’ll be dumped with so much information you do not know what to do with them.

Here I thought it's a romance... in retrospect yes, but it's more than that. It’s also about friends who got tangled by a web of lies and deception, love, friendship, lust, bad decisions –like Pandora’s box.

It is rich with wax poetic and deep thoughts, which is normal for troubled souls, I guess – which the protagonists’ certainly were.

"But how can I let her go? When her touch feels like it is the way perfect should be. When her heart beats so peacefully next to mine. When we intertwine our fingers and pretend like we’re never going to be apart and it feels like everything is right with the world. When every moment I spend with her, feels like I’m falling in love all over again." - Holden Danvers

The romance bit is a breath of fresh air, that’s for sure. I can’t help but fall a little for Holden even if it’s against my will.

"Because I had no choice. They pulled me into something that I never wanted to part of." - Holden

I can say the same... I'm in a world I never wanted to be in, but I'm in... and I can't ever go back again.

SO, all in all, it was a good read. It wasn’t a walk in the park, as I said. But once you finish it, you’ll want more.

In spite of the information overload, I still want to know more. Crazy, right? I feel like there are things that still need to be settled. I am looking forward to a sequel, that’s for sure.

Perfect
(Beautifully Broken Love Book 1)
Kady Hunt

In a world of lies, secrets and seduction, all you can hope for is beautifully broken love.

Beautifully Broken Love is a New Adult Romance about a group of friends who become trapped in a world of Lies, Sex and Deception. But when their love lives get tangled in the mess, they must find a way to fight the danger that surrounds them.

Of course that’s easier said than done when you don’t know who is lying and who isn’t. Will the friends be able to bury their secrets or will the secrets bury them all?

Sex, lies, betrayal and secrets will keep you wanting more of this Beautifully Broken Love series

Jamie, unable to continue in her pursuit of a college degree, took a job with a prestigious law firm in order to save enough and return to school. She agrees to a weekend in Vegas with a colleague where she meets four friends Holden, Daniel, Sabastian and Teague. The four friends were only looking for some fun and relaxation away from the stresses of college life.

After a questionable night of drinking, Jamie and Holden find themselves pawns in a game with no knowledge of the stakes.

I’m not sure the description does the book justice. Perfect is an action pack story with twists and turns around every corner. If more substance than steamy moments and angst ridden book are your thing, this is the book for you! There was a lot happening within the pages of this story; nights of partying, lies, affairs, scandal, danger, stolen kisses, bonds broken and new ones formed. This book will definitely keep you on your toes.

I found the telling of the story through five different POV’s, which switched without warning, somewhat distracting. The continuous angst without a break was a bit frustrating, as well. However, in the end, all strings were tied into a nice neat package. I would have loved to feel more passion between Holden and Jamie throughout the book rather than focus more towards the end.

On the Big O Rating Scale I’d rate this book at a 3. Perfect is definitely a respectable debut book by Kady Hunt.

Perfect by Kady Hunt can best be described as an onion. On the surface it does not look that intricate. But as you go deeper, you discover a multitude of layers. I was grateful for this writing style because my initial impression was “this is a superficial love story.” I was sorely mistaken.

The story begins in a hotel in Las Vegas. What is supposed to be a fun, relaxing weekend for the young, wealthy characters turns into a nightmare as the lives of each character are changed forever.

Holden
Holden is our male protagonist who has basically hit rock bottom. He has fallen for a married woman named Natalie and shares his sorrows with alcohol a little too much. Natalie is a woman who is married and can’t seem to leave Holden alone, despite their toxic relationship. Basically, she’s like the cheerleader in high school who feels like she can take whatever she wants if you want my honest opinion of her. It seems Holden will never get his act together and end his relations with Natalie, but then there was Jamie.

Jamie
All Jamie wanted was a weekend away with her charming boyfriend, Alex. A boyfriend who turned less charming as the weekend progressed and couldn’t seem to accept “no” as an answer. Jamie eventually bumps into Holden and the boys, and one night changes everything. However, Natalie has big plans for Jamie, especially if Holden is involved.

Daniel
All I have to say is poor Daniel. The purpose of the weekend away was to get Holden away from Natalie and spend some time with the guys. Of all the places in the world, Natalie shows up at the same hotel and whisks Holden away once again. It seems as if Daniel will never catch a break. However, one night with Jamie seems to bring out the best in him. The story leaves you asking if it will last

Like I said, this story is an onion, and there are several other characters that are important to the plot, but their involvement is so intricate that it will be easier if you just read the book. That being said, read the book. J Hunt definitely has quite a few surprises hidden for the reader, starting this series off with a bang. I guarantee the evening you spend with this novel will not be boring.

Sit back, relax and get ready to be taken on journey full of twists and turns as Holden Danvers and Jamie Crawford come to find out that what happens in Vegas might not stay in Vegas!
Ms. Hunt devotes the first 20% (or so) of the story on character development. You get multiple points of view, Holden, Jamie, Sebastian, Daniel, and Teague. Once you get into the heart of this novel, you’ll appreciate her thoroughness. Each character brings something to the story; you will be well connected and invested in each and every character.
Holden, Sebastian, Daniel and Teague are lifelong friends enjoying a much needed Vacation in Sin City. The twists start in a Vegas hotel room and follow them back to New York. Jamie is in Vegas on what she hopes to be a sexy getaway with another man, when she literally slams into a drunk and disorderly Holden. Jamie is unknowingly pulled into a game that everyone is unaware is being played.
Now we get into the turns, I was talking about. Turn of events - turn of relationships – friendships being tested and more twists of the truth. Poor Holden has a lot to shift through to figure out the truth.
You will not want to put this down! Oh, and did I forget to mention there might be a Mrs. Robinson type, some murder, some mysterious man pulling strings, and of course some smexy love! Great Novel~
I really hope that Kady Hunt is planning on giving Sebastian, Daniel and Teague their own love stories. I need more of those three.

I don't even know where to start!! I really really enjoyed this book but I have been left in a complete and total mind-mess! I need the next book immediately...

This book is full of secrets and lies, and I can't work out where one starts and another one ends. Unlike most of the books I end up reading, 'Perfect' actually follows a group of friends, so instead of having the PoV of just one or two main characters, this story actually features more. I've read other books like this before and I haven't enjoyed it, whereas in this book it just works. Kady has interlinked all of the characters so well, it has left me wanting more!! I look forward to reading more about some of the other characters as I'm sure there is more to each of them; especially the story with Teague.

Holden and Jamie end up having a chance encounter in a Vegas hotel room and it ends up bringing them closer together, but not without plenty of drama. This leads to a massive web of interlinking plot twists and stories, which I'm sure have a lot further to go and develop in the next books! Kady has developed the characters and story really well - I did end the book thoroughly confused, not sure who I can or can't trust and just generally left thinking "WTF IS HAPPPENING"!!!!! Loved it!

I cannot wait to read the next one! This book has it all - 4.5 stars! *****

So I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book, don't want to give to much away as the book hadn't been released yet......I love finding new authors to read who exceed expectations and Kady did this in spades.

What a book, thoroughly enjoyed it from the opening line to the last. I loved the fact that each chapter it took you a few seconds to realise from whose perspective you were reading from, but as the book progressed you knew from the first few lines in the chapter and you fell in love with the characters a little bit more.

The main characters in this book focus on Jamie and Holden, but with secondary characters like Daniel who I fell in love with and Teague and Mia whose relationship intrigues me. Not forgetting Sebastian x all of them a bunch of misfits from differing walks of life, how their paths have reached each other and how they stick together through it all. Holden in particular and his player bad boy ways, turned one woman man and dealing with the unbelievable task of filling his dead fathers shoes all make for intrigue. It peaks my interest and I love it !

The rise of this group of friends is going to be a ride I want in on and can't wait now for book two ! ❤️

received an Arc for honest review

Holden Denvers, is a trust fund bad boy, A week away in Vegas with his friends turns into a drug-induced hook up, Fights amongst friends and sex with his married lover!! Holden is a douche, a complete and utter douche!! He's rude and thinks he's the man..

Jamie Crawford, A twenty year old virgin is in Vegas with her co-Worker who could be her Boyfriend if she lets him! She's a shy doormat.. she was nice and a great character, she just didn't stand out!!

I loved how much Holden changed, he really stepped up and became a man, still Rude, but perfectly acceptable rudeness, As for Jamie her character didn't really evolve throughout the novel,
The side characters were very intriguing, I'm really hoping Sebastian gets his own book,
Daniel was a character that grated on me, maybe because I couldn't quite work him out!!

Love the psychotic Mrs Danvers, she was a true twist!!

I loved all the twists and turns this book had, I'm currently suffering from a mind F**k!! this book seriously blew my mind!! I'm Confused and intrigued how Broken is going to play out!

I'm hoping book 2 helps all the unresolved questions I have.. But Defiantly would recommend this book to everyone who loves a good twist!!

I loved Prefect. This is a must one click one.

I was a little confused at the start of the book because it's told in many different POVs. At first I wasn't sure who everyone was and how the went together. It didn't take me long to figure out who everyone was and what their relationship to each other was. Even though the switching of POVs in the beginning caused me a little confusion it also help me click with all the characters quicker.

Holden sucked me right into the book from the beginning. He is kind of a mess in the beginning and I couldn't help but want to know more about him. I know he had a story I wanted to know about. Holden is with his friends, Daniel, Sabastian and Teague, for some fun in Vegas. They are all interesting guys. Jamie is in Vegas for the weekend with a colleague, Alex. Jamie is sweet and innocence, the complete opposite of Holden. Her trip changes course when she runs into Holden and his friends.

There are some surprise twists that are really good. I really couldn't guess what was coming next and I really like that about this story. I can't wait to read the next one.

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me on my feet and guessing what would happen next (the best kind of books in my opinion).

In Perfect, you have two main characters-Jamie and Holden. Holden is your typical spoiled rich kid....or is he? And Jamie is someone who was unlucky in love and at the right place at the wrong time.

Every chapter led to a new surprise and something different. You start to think one thing and then find out....nope, we are going to mess with your head and change it up. And that's exactly what happens. At first I thought Jamie and Daniel were going to be together-but not so much.

In some ways this book reminded me of Jeffery Deaver's The October List. And I say that because in that book, you think you know what is going on, and then you turn the page (or start the next chapter) and you realize that you have no idea. Everything keeps changing. That's how Perfect is. The book is left with unanswered questions, that the author will answer in the following books, but she definitely hooks you in straight from the start.

5 Stars for me. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

OMG OMG OMG... Where do i start with this review? This book compleately knocked me on my ass... It contains so many emotions that i can't really put into words, YOU JUST HAVE TO READ IT for yourselves!!!
It begins a little confusing with the first couple of chapters, but it basically is just introducing the reader to all the characters, Holden, Jamie, Daniel, Teague and Mia are the main group of friends, with other people getting introduced as the story goes deeper.
The main plot twist will leave you as gob smacked as it did when Holden discovered the truth. Unexpected and shocking is a pretty good description!!!
With the truth unfolding and with a ton of twists and turns that literally had me flying through every emotion possible, i would honestly give this book way more than a 5 star rating with the greatest of pleasures. A huge 10/10 read and i truly can't wait to see what Kady has planned for the next book in this series!!!

Genre: thriller? Drama

What's it about: the story follows a group of friends as they visit Vegas, with deception and lies the group don't know who to trust even keeping secrets from each other.

You will love this story if: you like Revenge (the TV show) if you like drama

The book to me felt like it was in 2 parts, the Vegas trip and then back home,
The story was gripping and full of intrigue that had you dying to flip forward a few pages to find out what's going on but not daring in case you missed something.
I loved the split POV that changed each chapter to each of the friends.
Once back home I liked the interesting and deep storyline and the many twists on the story that really left you questioning who to trust. The story I felt left out some explanations that left me confused but overall a really interesting and gripping read that I think would work well as a tv show or made for tv film

Perfect by Kady Hunt completely exceeded my expectations, what a wonderful book. I found myself falling for and bonding with all the characters as a small portion of their back stories were revealed. As Perfect progressed, I thought, oh no this is getting ugly and crazy. Then I felt a small bit of relief, which was short lived, but in the most entertaining way. I then settle in for what I think will be the conclusion of the story of Holden and Jamie....I was sooooo wrong and was hit with another unexpected surprise. Kady Hunt did a fantastic job of connecting each character to one another and interweaving their stories into the entire saga, I look at it as a continuing exploration of each characters individual lives and their role in the group dynamic. The surprises kept coming until the final page, the following stories are sure to be just as exciting.

This wasn't your typical romance read.

The author certainly knows how to mix things up with debt novel.

For the first 10% I was very confused and will confess that I nearly gave up. What you get it lots of POV's introducing each of the characters but there was no header at the top so you didn't know who's POV you were read and it really confused the hell out of me. But I stuck with it and I am glad I did.

What a ride, you have the romance, suspense and lots of drama. Once I figured out who was who I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and had a fast pace. There were also plenty of times where the author throws you and the story goes in a completely different direction.

I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

a new author for me & i wasn't disappointed .holden danvers is in vegas to let off some steam with his friends & to forget his affair with a married woman , jamie crawford is there with her work mate alex who she is hoping will become something more .
a night out ends up with them both being drugged & ending up in same bed , each thinking the other is making love to the respective partners in their lives . saying its a bit of a shock when morning comes & they discover who they've been in bed with is bit of understatement .
it wasn't the best of starts for a relationship but its knock on effect causes secrets to be revealed & lives to be turned upside down , can't wait for more

This book is brilliant.

Kady Hunt has intricately woven together a master piece of surprising twists and turns.
So many times I was like "OMG, is this book going THERE?" and then BAM, it went somewhere totally different. It kept me on my toes, it kept me engaged in the story. From the start of this book to the end, I had to know what was going to happen. Were Jaime and Holden going to make it. Were they going to overcome the issue and find a little slice of happiness... perfection?

The book heavily features a group of friends who are drowning in a world of lies and deception and is the perfect build up to this series.

I cannot wait to discover more of Kady's work!

This was my first book by Kady Hunt but it definitely won't be my last. At first I wasn't crazy about how often she switched between so many different characters, but as the story evolved I found myself attached to all the characters. I understood why they all needed to be heard.

This is a story of lust, mystery, loss, deceit, and so many different aspects. The twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. This book took me in a totally different direction than I could have ever guessed. I simply loved that. It was Perfect!!

I was given this book for an honest review….

When I first started the book I had some trouble as it is written in 1st person and each chapter is a different person. But once you learn the characters you know who’s talking. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, just when you think you know what’s going on you get a new angle. Very exciting, lots of surprises. When it started I did not think it would end the way it did. Good job Kady Hunt, I look forward to more in this series.

Enough sex to keep you excited and enough mystery to keep you on your toes!

Intriguing Story

The overall story was good. I didn't like how many different POVs there were nor the constant switch back and forth. I liked the twists in the plot, but felt they should have been a little more realistic and foreshadowed. It seemed like there was just too much going on during scenes that weren't as important to the main plot of the book-but that's probably due to the many povs. The story begins a little slow, but if you hang in there you'll enjoy the overall book.

This is a book that is definitely a must read. I loved the suspense, the twists and turns, and feels this book gave me. This story drew me in on the first page and I could not put it down until the very last page. These characters are great, they are real and true to how I would expect them to be. Ms. Hunt definitely know how to write a story that will have you turning the pages and begging for more.

I received a copy for honest review.

The first couple of chapters did throw me a little, as there was a lot of back and forth between characters. However, once the story got going, it was a page turner! [Or tapper for kindlers?!] The characters are developed and the relationships convincing. And the plot...definitely unexpected and very well done. Will be reading book 2 :)
