In Resurrection City, the unholy trinity must doom or be doomed. “‘And I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; by sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.’” The year is 2070. In a post-American world, the Republic of Sacramento is governed by the Agents of the Bureau of Public Health, an organization that has absolute authority over life and death. Finally, he nears the end of his journey. Events quickly spiral out of control, however, and Bernard—together with his two Scout bodyguards—must face some punishing choices. Occurring in parallel, the story of Luke Diefer chronicles this tragic figure’s odyssey across the ruined hellscape of what was once the United States, revealing yet another face of this terrible new world. Bag Trinity contains Episodes 5 and 6 of the series, which introduce readers to Luke Diefer before concluding Dara, Troy, and Bernard’s journey to Resurrection City.
