Sigma Division is a branch of the CIA tasked with safeguarding the government's most important secrets. And now there's a leak. Gene Spicer is a former assassin struggling to put the past behind him. He thought being reassigned to Sigma Division would be a fresh start, that it would mean he wouldn't have to kill any longer. He thought wrong. A routine investigation into the government whistleblower leads him to a secret that could cost him his life. Sigma Division has secrets of its own and people are willing to kill for them. Picking up his gun and shooting traitors in the head - the one thing Spicer doesn't want to do anymore - might be the only way to save the very existence of democracy. And the clock is ticking...
Steve Richer is the bestselling author of the action thriller The President Killed His Wife. He went to law school and film school before considering becoming a sherpa, though he abandoned the idea upon discovering what a sherpa really was. Now he spends his days writing books.
He specializes in fun, over the top thrillers that read like action movies. He splits his time between Montreal and Miami.
Didn't understand what this book was about until almost the end. Don't know if it was the writing, my ignorance or my confusion. The plot, I think, was hidden under a lot of double talk. You might like it. I give it 2 1/2 stars.
I really like Steve Richer's books, all of them. This one is an action packed thrill ride! From start to finish it takes you right to the edge of "that could never happen" to "wow! I guess it could" when thinking of the CIA and the possible operations in their control. Sure makes you think. Strongly recommend!
This is the third Steve Richer book that I have read. Every one is better than the one before. Sigma Division is sensational. It is action packed with suspenseful twists and turns thoughout the book. I recommend this book to all who like acton filled novels.
