I have been a lover of romance for decades. After a long career as a television news reporter, anchor, and producer, I decided to write the stories I most enjoyed reading. What I discovered is a memorable romance comes in a lot more combinations than just one hot guy and one sexy woman!

Hardwired was the first book in Sarina Wilde’s Teacher’s Pet series. It was also my first book by Wilde.

It was a short read which got straight to the point. Nat and Carly were both attending a conference. They hooked up for one night with no strings attached, which also included Nat’s best friend Ben. It was the hottest night of sex ever for both. They went their separate ways in the morning as promised and that was that.

Nat was the new principal at a middle school. Carly coordinated the IT for the district. Before school started, Carly humorously ran into Nat while installing new systems in the school and the saga began. Do they or don’t they? What’s crossing the professional line? Wilde threw in some past drama with a pretty serious conflict simultaneously with a ton of focus on sex. There were a few editing errors; otherwise, it was a fast read that was great for a chill and (mostly) no stress book moment.
