JC Morrows is the bestselling author of the young adult dystopian series: Order of the MoonStone and the post-apocalyptic Frozen World series. A believer in sharing knowledge, JC is passionate about both stoking the creative fire in young minds and doing all she can to help authors of all experience levels excel.

A true storyteller, JC is one of those authors who grew up thinking it was perfectly normal to make up wild and fantastic tales, talk to people who weren't there, and look at the world from a perspective that no one else understood.

These days she records those fantastical tales (when her resistant laptop lets her) . . . and the people who aren't there . . . well, she still talks to them. She tells their stories and even argues with them on occasion. And she still sees the world in a way that makes sense to no one else, but that's OK because she is a teller of tales, a dreamer of dreams, a traveler of made-up worlds!

Though she doesn't write strictly "Christian" fiction... as a true believer, she gives God all of the glory for her talent and ability!

"And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." Habakkuk 2:2 KJV

A Tragic Consequence continues the story of Kayden and Prince Dvarius after their marriage, thus readers should start with book one, A Reluctant Assassin. Morrows has a way with words as she described their romantic moments along with tense moments of trying to survive as Kayden had not fulfilled her order of killing the Prince.

There are new developments about Kayden’s past that left me with unanswered questions. Will the Prince and Kayden be able to travel safely to a previous home or will spies be hidden among those they trust? What price is on Prince Dvarius’ life now that he chose to marry his initial assassin?

A Tragic Consequence is filled with never ending unexpected developments regarding the love birds which will change their lives as they struggle to survive as a couple. Prince Dvarius still wants his country to return to their roots and belief in God. This story ends with lots questions of what is truly happening, so I must read book five when it is released next year to see who wins.

I received a complimentary e-book from the author. I was not required to write a positive review but have shared my honest opinion.

A Tragic Consequence ( Order of The MoonStone #4)
By: J.C. Morrows

A Tragic Consequence is book four in Order of The MoonStone series, By J.C. Morrows. I have enjoyed each of the books in this series. You will need to read these books in order to fully understand what is going on. Before you start reading A Tragic Consequence you might want to make sure you have a box of tissues close by. The author did a fantastic on writing this story , it kept me glued reading till the end and then I wanted more. Will there be another book to this series Ms Morrows ? I did not really know what to say about this story , so Im want tell you much. In the last book Kayden married her Prince . I love the love story of Kayden and the Prince. They are hating to start back home , but know they have to. I love the way Kayden protects The Prince, and her changing to wife and back to assassin mode really is something. Will they ever be free of Kayden’s former employers ?
I was given a complimentary copy of this book , but was not told that I had toggle a positive review.

What the hell kind of ending was that? I'm left with more questions than answers. And there are now only novellas left.

Plus it got a bit preachy near the end. I understand the prince was trying to explain his religion to Kayden, but it seemed as if the author was trying too hard to put it in there.

Overall, I liked this one better than the others. Definitely more action, adventure, and plot sequences. Still a bit of the subtle sex talk, but it was better written than in the last book.

Morrows has crafted an enchanting masterpiece! I was immediately immersed into the drama. Twists and turns kept me turning the pages. I read this novella in one sitting. I'm looking forward to reading the next installment in this series.

Recommend to readers who enjoy Young Adult novellas.

I borrowed a copy from KU. I have expressed my honest view.

I loved this book series so much, but the ending just ruined it for me. Who wants to read a romance book series without the main guy? I sobbed at the ending. Don't think I'll recover LOL

This was such an exciting read! I am so glad I decided to read it, although it would have been beneficial to read the first few books in the series to understand the background and what they were hunting Kayden for. But overall I think it was okay as a stand alone, or to even read out of order.

I enjoyed the two main themes of this book - the love story between Kayden and Dvarious, and the battle that seemed to be taking place. It was so neat to watch Kayden's moods change from assassin to wife and back again in a matter of moments! This must have been challenging for the author to write, but boy I felt it was executed perfectly. There was just the right amount of balance between love and war.

And watch out readers, just when you think you've got it figured out, you are wrong! There were several twists and turns for me and I appreciate an author who can surprise me. I do not know if it was because I hadn't read the first installments or not, but I liked it! And speaking of surprises, the ending totally knocked my socks off! You'll have to read for yourself to see what I am talking about.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

I was NOT expecting so much new info!!!

It’s the perfect sequel . . . if you’ve been reading the Order of the MoonStone stories, I’m sure you’ll agree with me. But, after reading this book, I don’t know what could come next — or if I even want to read the final book in the series.

Oh, who am I kidding? Of course, I’ll read the next book!

I’ll be on pins and needles until it comes out. I mean, what can JC Morrows add? What else could possibly happen?

WHAT!

I should have know when I bought JC’s book and she handed me a package of tisues . . . oh yeah, I should have known!

When Kayden and Dvarius enlist the help of another agent, things get really exciting! Kayden learns something about her past — something unexpected. But far too soon the newlyweds are on their way back to face the Order. What will happen? Will they win — or lose — the battle?

You know I can’t tell you – I truly can’t. This time I’m really glad I can’t tell. Grab a box of tissues and read it for yourself.

Just do it!

A Tragic Consequence is book 4 in the Order of the MoonStone series. Because of where it picks up, I would strongly suggest you read them in order.
This book is written in Ms. Morrows' signature style. There's action, romance, and intrigue. More than that, this book has twist after twist and shock after shock. I was left reeling once I was done reading. I still can't wrap my mind around the details.
And I can't wait to read the next book. I'm fully invested in Kayden's story. She's become more than an a character on the page and I need to know how her story ends.
