Exciting Romantic Adventure!
Emotionally thrilling, action packed romantic journey filled with mystery and danger.
Jayden Parker is so sweet, fun and I have adored him since book one. Haley Guthrie is lost and feels so alone in her new college after being rejected by her family and boyfriend. Having a stalker just makes her hide out, until Jayden shows up to rescue her once again. Loved this highly enjoyable romantic adventure.

Jayden Parker. We met him in book one. He was the dashingly handsome and charming friend of Damon and also the grandson of “Granny”.
He risked his life to to help save Haley Guthrie. If you remember she was the other were female that was taken by the red wolves. But Jayden was too late and couldn’t save her. He endures hours of torture that left emotional and physical scars before Ava rescues him in the club.
Now a disgrace to her family (and boyfriend), Haley moves to the University of Arkansas to finish college. Her family and her ex boyfriend think that she is ruined because the red wolves defiled her.
She tries to focus on her studies but soon starts getting disturbing notes placed under her dorm room door. She goes to the Arkansas pack leader, Barrett for help. He assigned Jayden to the task of protecting her.
At first Jayden keeps his distance and stays hidden. But that lasts oh about a day lol and he reveals himself when she is approached by some college guys.
Haley feels safe with Jayden and when the notes continue and get more heinous in nature she agrees to move into his house. Ok its actually Barrett’s place that he uses when he is in Fayetteville to watch the Hogs play. Go Pig Sooie.
Anywhere where was I? Oh yes then well I have to admit this part was a slow burn for me. The book drags a bit a first but with each chapter the buildup and action gets more intense till BAM. I could not put it down.
Insert the guardians and Granny again and together they try to find out who is stalking her. But when her life is in danger Jayden fears that he will be too late again.
Favorite Scene: Granny riding in a sidecar of a Harley haha and when Haley takes a bite out of her stalker.

I have loved this series. Book number two is still my favorite though. This book, 3 in the series was a little too error filled for me to give it a 5. The typos distracted me for a moment here and there, but I was soon lost in the story plot, the awesome, hot sex, and the chance to get to hang with the rest of the gang again...including granny. I will be excited to read the next books in this series...please be more.

This is book 3 of the series. It’s my first in Audio by Jodi the author. The listen had it all , mystery , protecting, getting back at people . Jeffrey the narrator was great. He had a strong clear voice .

Jayden is haunted by the torture he experienced when trying to save a female werewolf who had been abducted. Now he has been assigned to protect that same woman from a stalker. Haley lost everything after her abduction. Cast aside by her boyfriend and her family, she's starting over in a new town. The last thing she needed was a stalker.
I liked the story here and it is well written. As always, I enjoyed the characters and there was plenty of steam.
Unfortunately, though, the formatting is a mess. The text is randomly justified right or centre on a fairly regular (but nonsensical) basis. There are blank lines in places. A lot of sentences are split with part of the sentence appearing down on the next line which breaks the flow of text. Also, more than one person often speaks within one paragraph instead of starting a new paragraph for each speaker. Much of the time, this is irritating. Even worse, on some occasions, this makes it difficult to know who says what.
I have no idea what's going on here because the previous two books didn't have this issue. It's a shame because this is a well-written book with a good story, and it's being let down by the awful formatting.

I think I may love this third book of the series more than the previous two. I loved all the characters, especially Jayden and Haley. They both went through something traumatic at the same time and they both have emotional, mental and some physical scars from the experiences. How they help each other move past it made for a great romance.
I love the connection between the books and story lines and how they still manage to be completely separate stories at the same time. This book gave me a chance to reconnect with the characters that I came to know and love in the first two stories and I also got to know Jayden and Haley ( we were introduced in the previous books) even better.
Once again Jeffrey Kafer did an outstanding job with the narration on this one. I love all the different voices he created for the different characters (granny is particularly funny) and will happily continue listening to any romance I can get my hands on that he narrates.
I hope there are many more books in this series to come. I am especially looking forward to Barrett finally meeting his match.

Awesome series from start to ...
well I've gone to book 7 and anticipating book 8!!
Great shifter series, well defined characters, flowing storylines both in individual books and as a whole series.
Scenes are written with perfect detail - emotions and actions expressed so well it feels like you could almost be there....well you know what I mean!!!
Been a while since I've enjoyed a shifter series so much. I literally blew through the books in days. I didn't want to put each book down!!
Each book ends cleanly with no cliff hanger, so I guess they COULD be read as stand alone books.. BUT they are much better read as a series and in order so you can appreciate the back story of the characters and what has happened previously to the pack and it's members. STRONGLY recommend to read as the series!!

I'm really loving this series! Love the suspense and of course the romance! Some great chemistry and hot scenes between Jayden and Haley. I enjoy the action and the side characters too; there's some fun humor added with some of the side characters. This could be read as a standalone, but there is a bit of backstory in the previous books, so I'd recommend starting with the first book. Jayden and Haley are both dealing with the traumatic experience of being captured and tortured by the evil red wolf shifter pack. Haley's family is treating her like damaged goods and now she has a stalker. Jayden has scars from the ordeal; both physical and mental, and is having a hard time with it all. Jayden is tasked with protecting Haley from the threats her stalker is making. A sweet and sexy romance! Entertaining the whole time!

Great Story! Great Narration! I love this Series! Like the other books in the Series, this story has it all: Suspenseful, Hilarious and Hot! I love the two main characters, Jayden and Haley. Haley is so strong! And Jayden so protective, alpha and handsome! I also like to see the other characters from the previous books: Damon, Ava, Kate, Braxton, Barrett and Granny! I love Granny, she's so hilarious! We also have a glimpse of the romance writers and I want to see them again! They are hilarious! I really enjoyed my listening and I can't wait for the next book in the Series! I want it now!! The narration is really great and easy to listen. I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end and it was great to see Jayden's story this time around as well as Haley's. We met them both in the first book but this one can definitely be read as a standalone. I had missed book two and had no problem jumping into this one. There is plenty of action and intrigue in this one as we watch these two navigate their feelings for each other in the midst of what they both went through and the situation they are currently in with Haley being stalked. This story is a little on the quicker side but had plenty of development with characters and plot. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am excited to continue the series.
The narrator did a good job with the story and characters and enhanced the story for me. I enjoyed listening to it.

Sexy and steamy with a strong undercurrent of danger.
I loved reading about Jayden and Haley. Both having recently traumatic pasts...and healing together. But, just because Haley was rescued before, doesn't mean she's out of danger now.
I love reading about this Arkansas pack. They're strong, loyal, and mean business. But, there's a lot of down to earth in them as well. And, I like how the books bring in the recurring characters to make it an actual series. No one is forgotten.
The narrator is perfect for them as well. Grumbly and growly, like you'd expect a wolf would be.
Fast paced and definitely spicy.

While this book was enjoyable, and you could see why the hero/heroine belong together (more than lust, they had things in common/background, etc.), I felt the supporting characters were added in for unnecessary and distracting comedy relief (0.5 star deduction). Furthermore, we are clearly told who the bad guy is at the 2/3 mark, yet the Guardians couldn't figure it out until the end. Seriously? Not very smart, which goes against the core of the Guardians (1.5 stars deduction).

Holy Hotness! I loved this book and will definitely be getting the two before this one to hear those stories. I hadn’t read any of the series before and was able to listen to this one without getting lost, but I feel I may have been able to understand some of the little side pieces better if I had. An amazing book that I would definitely recommend.

Great book! Loving this series so far.
Only thing that got my attention repeatedly though in this book was that every kiss scene he “slammed his mouth down on hers. Literally every kiss involved the word slam in different forms. Slammed, slams, slamming, slam. So much slamming of lips going on in all the books but soooo many times in this one. Maybe he can kiss her without the slamming a few times. haha.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job. I enjoyed the H/h and the low angst storyline. I also want to Louisianan pack master challenged.

Too hot to handle

3.5 stars Rounded up. Better than the first 2 combined. Some filler and bog down in the middle but at least she has a stalker throughout the book. Both are wolves so no weird fix so they have a Hea.
