8 Second Decision
Sometimes a gal just needs a good cowboy book to indulge in. 8 Second Decision sure fit the bill.
You get your fill of a hot sexy cowboy, a sassy heroine & a bit of mystery thrown in.
Merek Slatter has always been addicted to the high of the rodeo but he now has his eyes set on a new kind of high in the form of a green eyed Challis Jones. Challis has her heartbroken when he Daddy passed and the last thing she needs is a cocky cowboy wiggling his way under her skin. The high for these two will take them soaring but when they come down will they go lower than before?
Fantastic first read by this author!!

Rules of the Ride is the second book in the Silver Star Ranch series & the continuation from 8 Second Decision.
In this one we get eldest brother Maverick's story. Mav has loved Ella James for as long as he can remember. When she up & left town with no goodbye she broke him. Now she's back to bury her estranged mother & regardless of their abrupt ending these two cannot seem to let go.
Ella has a big secret. The reason she left town all those years ago. She is determined to head right back out of town when her Mom is buried but she can't help but wonder how much longer she can keep her secret buried from Mav.
OMG this was such a fantastic second chance read & we learn more of what is going on at the Silver Star Ranch.
Building a Legacy
Building a Legacy is the final installment in the Silver Star Ranch series.
We finally get the grand finale of all that has been taking place on the ranch & it's time for Saint Johnson to be taken down.
Marvel the youngest of the brothers feels it time for Saint to pay for all he's done to his family & he will be the one to take him down. Things don't go as planned & Marvel is saved by Clover on a dark country road. Even though he's on deaths door, right where he wants to be, they both feel a connection that can't be denied.
Can Nurse Clover heal his physical wounds but also heal is spirit?
Wow this is the culmination of the whole Slatter brothers stories & it was epic!!
Fantastic series. Will be looking to read more by Ms. Bellus.

Oh these Slatter boys......
Each and every book has you hooked. Merek, Maverick, and Marvel are three boys who have heart and love their family to the core. Each character is fun to read and the emotions are heartfelt. I enjoyed every single page of this boxset. Highly recommended.

Awesome and Amazingly Written Series
8 Second Decision:
What an Amazing Story. The characters were really deep and realistic. Merek was the most Amazing and strong man. Challis was a sweet but strong willed woman. Together they are a fiery duo. This story has a lot of feeling and intriguing bits to! Can't wait for the next Chapter!
Rules Of The Ride:
This was an Epic Story of Love, Redemption and 2nd Chances. Maverick and Ella's love had started in the 1st grade and continued until High School. Until a traumatic experience to Ella sent her packing and running for 10 years. Now recently reunited under another sad circumstance. Their love not only is still felt it time to heal their wounded heartbroken souls!
Branding a Legacy:
This was an Epic ending to a fabulously written Series. First off the story was about Marvel and Clover. Clover being g the. Niece of their long time enemy Saint. Unbeknownst to Clover and the Slatter's themselves. The connection between both Marvel and Clover was intense and emotional. The story ended perfectly and have us such an Epic epilogue. I feel like that was the best part of it all.

Silver Star Ranch by HJ Bellus is a fantstic boxed set and contains all Slatter Brothers books.
Book one, 8 Seconds Decision is Merek and Challis´ book. Merek Slatter is one of the Slatter brothers and is with the rodeo circuit. He´s back from Houston and crashes with the new Waitress in the Slatter´s watering hole. Challis Jones is a successful rodeo rider herself. Merek meets her and has the worst oneliner. He asks how she " got" her reodeo buckle. Yay, Merek, a great way to win her over, not.
They have a love- hate relationship. But slowly love wins over annoying.
Rules of Ride is the second book in the series and is Maverick and Ella´s book. The next Slatter brother gets his ball and chain. Rules of Ride is a great second-chance romance.
Branding a Legacy is the third book in the Silver Star Ranch series.
The last single brother, Marvel meets his soulmate, Clover.
Every book in this series is very well written, the characters are great and I could feel their emotions in the words.

Five Silver Stars.
This is a set of books about three brothers. The first book is about Merek. The middle brother. He is the rodeo champ. Home for a bit off the road where he meets Challis. They are both stubborn and feisty and perfect for each other. Book two is about Merrick. He is the oldest of the brothers and has only every loved one woman. She ran from him because of things she couldn't control. Brought back in his life by her mother dying. Book three was my favorite in the set. It is about Marvel. He is the youngest of the brothers. But has an old soul. His life is the ranch. When someone tries to take that from him he fights back and doesn't win. After being held prissioner and beaten he escaped and is found by Clover. In all of the stories their Grandfather is a big part of the story.

Loved the first book with all the sass and crazy banter. The second story was a little drawn out for me and didn't really continue the suspense plot as much as I expected but was still enjoyable. The third story was full of suspense, insta love and beautiful family moments. It was really good but I did feel this one wrapped up really quickly. Overall I would recommend the series, it was full of love, laughter and a beautiful family.

I truly loved this series and this author. I learned about HJ Bellus on the To Tell the Truth show. She is a great author and I'm looking forward to reading more of her books.

Awesome series.
I didn't realize I had the boxset until I'd read the first book... and I'm so very happy that I had the whole set. The complete story of the Slatter brothers, their wives and Granddad was fantastic beyond words. Joy, tears, tension, heartbreak, and much more. Great writing!

Books 1-3
All three books are erotic love stories. There is very little action, lots of crying, arguments, confusion and sex. I found myself skipping pages due to the feeling that I just read the same thing last chapter. Did not like the final ending of book 3. I guess I like more action and less ..... never mind.

There's someone for everyone
No matter what you go through, there's always someone waiting on the other side. I love a good romance and these 3 didn't fail me. I want 1 of each cowboy cause they don't make them like that anymore.

My first Cowboy read and HJ Bellus might have ruined me for all other Cowboys
I knew cowboys are supposed to be hot and all but...NO ONE warned me just how hot the Slatter Brothers would be!!! Each with their own storyline, Merek, Maverick & Marvel Slatter will have you melted in a puddle! All with the continuing theme, family isn't who shares your blood but who you share your heart with and you can't forget where you came from but never let that define who you are!
There is so much to say about this set but I just can't seem to find the words...it is just that amazing of a read!
And the ending slayed me! Make sure you read until the very end...surprises await you!
