Three SCUBA instructors, who happen to be sexual dominants, are about to take the ultimate plunge. If you’re extraordinarily lucky, you’ll be invited to join them on The Divemaster, where work and pleasure go hand in hand. Welcome aboard!
When her mentor is killed in a lab fire, all his notes destroyed with him, marine biologist Sabine Reynolds is determined to finish his work—a cure for an aggressive form of cancer. She needs a specific coral to continue. To find it, she boards The Divemaster to search the waters around Hawaii.
Crewmember Miguel Torres helps facilitate the collection…and brings out a sensual side of Sabine she hadn’t known existed. In the warm tropical waters, she discovers fascinating things about herself and the taboo fantasies she’d never experienced before meeting the sexy guide, who isn’t afraid to take charge during their daytime, and nighttime, adventures.
The Divemaster crew come face-to-face with danger in the form of rival researchers, who’ll stop at nothing to ensure their success at Sabine’s expense. Sabotage, theft, kidnapping, murder, whatever it takes to produce—and profit from—the cure first.
Can Miguel keep Sabine safe and by his side? Or will her enemies put a stop to her research…permanently?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the strange connection that Sabine and Miguel had despite never meeting before. It was like fate had a hand in getting them together and the instant feeling of rightness between them. I loved how much Miguel admired Sabine's work ethic and dedication and also that he anticipated what she needed even before she realized it. Sabine offered Miguel the comfort and closeness he hadn't shared with anyone since his childhood and softened his rougher edges. Together they had some scintillating sexy times including some in the famed Divemaster playroom.
I love that with each book we see a bit more personality from all of the characters and this group that has become a family in a short amount of time. I also appreciate the way Ms. Rylon explains the details of the dives and the importance of the ocean to the world.
I'm loving The Divemasters series from Jayne Rylon and they are perfect for hot summer days by the pool, the beach or if you are lucky some beautiful tropical location. The first book set this series up and introduced the main characters and in Going Deep we find out a bit more about divemaster Miguel Torres' life before meeting his business partners and we see him fall head over heels with a brainiac scientist, Sabine Reynolds. Sexy times, a bit of suspense and some high stakes scientific discovery abound in this fast paced and exciting romance.
Sabine joins The Divemaster after her mentor is killed while she watches and she vows to continue his research in order to find the cure for cancer. With the Banks Foundation and the entire crew of The Divemaster behind her Sabine is determined to carry on the important work what she doesn't count on is finding a man who not only joins her in her scientific endeavors but who fills her nights with more pleasure than she ever imagined.

While more mainstream than Ms. Rylon's normal books; I find them sexy, fun, with just enough drama to make them completely entertaining.
5 Star Review Going Deep (Divemasters Book 2) by Jayne Rylon
This is the second book in the newest series Divemasters from Jayne Rylon and I was excited to read this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book so was anxious to see what happens next. This is Miguel Torres and Sabine Reynolds story.
The only thing that took me back a little was that Miguel and Sabine got together so fast but then this is a fiction story. However, when attraction and passion is instantaneous it seems it is impossible to resist.
Sabine with the help of her mentor’s wife, Sabine is determined to take up where he left off in his search for a cure for an aggressive form of cancer after he was killed in what has been reported as a tragic accident. Miguel is anxious to assist her both professionally and personally.
“Sometimes families are made of the people you choose, not the ones you’re born with” – That is at the heart of this series, that family is not always blood related. Family is who you choose to have in and surrounding you; often it is those friends who become your family and that shone through in this book just as much as in the first in the series.
I have to say that the secondary characters of Banks and Captain Alex are so intriguing that I would love to learn more about them and hopefully more details come to light in the next book. As far as I am aware this is a 3 book series, but I love it so much I do hope that Ms. Rylon decides to extend it.
If I closed my eyes, I could almost envisage that I was in Hawaii as the descriptions of the places they visit came alive to me whilst I was reading. I really felt at times that I could see what they were seeing. Ms. Rylon’s real life love of diving obviously plays an important part in this series.
I admit that I would love to be invited aboard The Divemaster. Oh the fun I could have with all the Divemasters!
The chemistry between Miguel and Sabine was scorching. This book was not only hot, with Miguel helping Sabine to explore her naughtier and more taboo fantasies, but the suspense and danger that Sabine finds herself in, made for a thoroughly enjoyable read.
Will Miguel be able to keep Sabine safe or will it all be in vain? One click now to find out!!!
Another wonderful Divemasters book!!! Loved how the title suited this book especially well. Miguel used it well that is for sure. Great characters and wonderful writing!!
Love the Divemasters!!! Great read - strong *and* intelligent heroine, "tortured" hero (ala bad childhood). Great story - it starts off with a bang but not too graphic.
Another great book by Jayne Rylon - can't wait for the next!
Miguel and Sabine are a perfect pair. The chemistry between them is off the charts. Sabine is a free spirited scientist. Miguel is a sexy as hell dive master. They are brought together to search the ocean.. but they are not quite sure what they're looking for. I did like this story. I felt like the end was a bit rushed, but, I still liked it and can't wait for the next in the series.
Going Deep is the second book in the Divemasters series and I have to say that as much as I enjoyed Going Down, the first book, I loved Going Deep even more. I was hooked from the first page and had a difficult time putting it down. It was a fun, quick, smoking hot read and I loved every minute of it!
I liked Miguel in the first book, but I loved him in this one. He’s the kind of alpha male I get all swoony over. He’s dominant and has no problem taking charge when he needs to, but is also all kinds of sweet and caring. He has his neanderthal moments, but they fall into the sexy as sin realm instead asshat realm. His past isn’t a happy one and yet he came out of it with a good head on his shoulders and a positive view of the world.
I loved Sabine. Her determination to pick up the pieces of her mentor, friend and father figure’s work after witnessing his death and figure out what he’d been working on so that she could complete it was simply amazing. Her take the bull by the horns attitude combined with just how comfortable she was in her skin made her that much more compelling. And I loved that while she is this genius scientist, she has a gypsy heart that keeps her balanced.
I’m not always a fan of insta style relationships, but with Miguel and Sabine it worked beautifully. Not only are they both people who live for the moment, but they find that they have a unique connection to each other that shatters any doubts either may have had to start something. Now, I know this sounds like insta-love, but it isn’t in anyway, they do get physical quickly and why wouldn’t they since fireworks were going off around them from the start, but they also spend a lot of time together and find that not only do they like each other, but respect each other.
The writing was engaging as always and though I was more interested in Miguel and Sabine’s relationship, I liked how the search for the cure for cancer and who killed Dr. Geld storyline played out. It was kept simple and realistic right up to the end. The author’s love and knowledge of SCUBA definitely comes through and I enjoyed Banks is still my favorite character, but Captain Alex stepped up his game in this one and I really like seeing how happy and settled Archer and Waverly are and then there is Tosin. He’s the last man standing and I can’t wait to get my hands on his book and watch him fall.

Going Deep is the second book in the Divemasters series. Like Archer from book 1, this time around it's Miguel's turn to find his HEA.
With the unexpected arrival of a smart and beautiful scientist named Sabine, Miguel will find out that there is more to life than just diving and women. He'll discover a love that goes deeper than he could have ever expected.
Sabine is given the chance of lifetime to help make her mentor's research a reality when she is given the chance to board the Divermaster to search for the sample she needs to complete her mentor and now her own project. Though while searching for her mystery sample she'll find that there is more to life than just scientific advancement, she'll learn that sometimes you need someone to take the ride with you and that it's okay to feel deeply for someone despite the risks. With the help of Miguel and his friends she'll accomplish her mentor's goals and find love along the way.
I really enjoyed this book, like Archer's book, Miguel thinks he knows what he wants in life until he meets Sabine. From the minute they meet there is an instant connection. They seem to be made for each other. They bond over their shared history with Sabine's mentor and learn that he deeply affected both Sabine and Miguel's lives making them the people they are today. They have a common goal of finding the sample that will help Sabine make a cure and save countless of lives. Of course they have a lot of crazy and meaningful sex along the way and struggle with how they will be able to stay a couple once the sample is found. They are both willing to fight for each other and make things work however they have to, to stay together. A really great addition to the series.
5 *stars* of hot, steamy, wet, panty melting sex. I really enjoyed this story of Miguel and Sabine.. It has a different storyline, that I have not read before. The main story is about three SCUBA instructors, that are sexual dominants and live on the Divemaster, a megayacht. Miguel, grew up on the streets, in Brazil, doing what he could to survive. His friendship with two other men, whose lives, develop into something he never thought available to him. Sabine is a scientist, who has a close relationship with her former professor and his wife. They are the closest people to her. She is finishing up a grant and then is going to work with him. She is talking with him, via Skype, when there is an explosion and she witnesses his death. The characters and the story, both well written, hold you in the story. The mystery evolves with each sentence and chapter, knowing that something is going to happen and the wait for it holds you till the ending.
This can be read as a standalone book in the Divemaster series. It does have an element of BDSM, although, mild and lots of sex. Mile high and mile deep sex.

Sabine is in a very difficult time. She was especially close to her mentor, who was like a father to her, and about to join him in his latest research. Miguel is attracted to Sabine and her independence, strengths, and fragility. Sabine knows her time with Miguel is limited and debates a relationship, especially when facing her mentor's recent death and her current research goals. Light BDSM.
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book was hot, scorching Brazilian Miguel, hot! From the moment he met Sabine, until the end of the book, these two scorched across the pages
There was no hesitation on Miguel's part, he met her, he was making out with her before they got to boat. Once there, he was making her his and was very clear on that part. Sabine was along for the ride, with so much sadness and stress in her life, Miguel gave her the release and joys she needed
Before long, they both had deep feelings for each other, but with lives so different, Sabine can't see how things will work out long term. Things have to work out eventually, and they do, but it is a rocky road to get there at the end. Not a lot of relationship drama, just some figuring of things out
A sprinkling of adventure, truly amazing romantic moments provided by Miguel, and did I mention amazing smexy times? Humour is here as well, one of my favourite lines in the book is provided by Tosin near the end and keeping the 'relationship cooties' away from him :)
When Sabine watches from her computer her mentors murder, she is eager to pick up the research where he left off. As it turns out, both Miguel and Sabine have something in common, Heimlich! He has had a profound impact on both of their lives.
Enter the Banks foundation. Miguel volunteered to help Sabine in any way including becoming her assistant. Unbeknownst to either of them, those same murderers are tracking her as well. They have tracked her directly to the Divemaster and a middle of the night walk to clear Sabine's head leads her right into their awaiting arms. They drug both Sabine and Miguel and take off with them.
If I kept going there would definitely be spoilers and those need to be read in order.
Miguel and Sabine heat up the sheets nightly. Even more when he introduces her to the clubhouse onboard. Who knew they would have so much in common! The ending is perfect!!!
I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review. Wow, I love this series and the dominant men that Jayne brings to life. This is the second in the series and its Miguel's turn to find love when he least expects it, Sabine is his perfect partner, their attraction is instant and they both give into their desire and fall in love in the process. With Jayne's usual mix of hotness, gorgeous men falling hard and suspense this series is a must for erotic, suspense fans. The relationship between the men is a true brotherhood, and the women they fall for just add to their family, I cannot wait for Tosin to meet his match and the inevitable "told you so" his brothers are going to give him! Cannot recommend highly enough
This is the second book in the Dive masters series. I loved Going Deep. Sabine and Miguel had some major chemistry that was apparent from the first day they met and it only grew more explosive as the story developed. Their scenes together were so hot.
Sabine and Miguel meet when she is trying to find out what her mentor was working on so she can continue his work and Miguel is the diver that is going to partner up with her on this task. They embark on a journey that brings them closer every day. In their task to complete her mentors project, they each realize that sometimes the best things in life is right in front of you.
This is Book 2 in the Dive Masters series. Sabine Reynolds has been asked to help her menor and friend, Dr. Heinrich Geld. She has just agreed to join her friend in two weeks when his lab blows up. A week later she comes on board the Dive Master. There she meets Miguel Torres, who's part owner of the ship. He's going to help her find out what had Dr. Geld so excited in his research. There's romance and plenty of adventure to be had in the beautiful Hawiaan setting. Jayne Rylon has another hit on her hands with this book. It's fantastic! I can't wait to read Book 3 even though it will be the last book in the series. I was given a copy for an honest review.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. The second story in the Divemasters trilogy was Miguel & Sabine's story and it was a sexy action packed adventure. When her mentor, whom Miguel had also met when he was a boy, was killed Sabine enlists the Banks foundation and Miguel to try and continue his research. While exploring the ocean collecting samples for their experiments they are also exploring each other. Another wonderful story by an amazing author. I cannot wait to read the final story in the trilogy.
Miguel’s story is definitely worth the wait. Love him and Sabine. Jayne Rylon does not disappoint! Miguel had a rough childhood and overcame incredible odds to be in the place he is today. The connection between them when they meet is instant, flaming hot, and overwhelming. Sabine has pain in her past as well as fresh grief and Miguel shares that grief. Filled with heat, emotion, touches of humor, mystery and more, this is as wonderful as the first book in the series. I definitely recommend this book and series.
In Going Down, the first book in this series, I enjoyed the description and attitude attributed to Miguel. In this, his story, it as great to learn what made him tick. Sabine has a similar story, which is why them coming together was so explosive. Their common mentor, Dr. Geld, and his death brought them together, but their instant attraction and sense of wholeness they each brought to the other is what made this story great.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Miguel and Sabine are next up in the dive masters series. Sabine joins the crew when her mentor is killed in a lab explosion. In her quest to continue his research, she becomes very close with Miguel. While they explore their growing relationship, their research brings a danger they never expected. Will Sabine and Miguel get their chance at forever? Fantastic read, can't wait for the third installment.
Loving this series!!!! Working with his best friends, living his dream come true. But Miguel is tired of the playboy lifestyle. The moment he saw Sabine, he knew he met his match. Heartbreaking what she witness and went through. These two were electric! !!! Awsome story, loved everything about this. Sad, Sexy, exciting, great amazing story
Going Deep was a fast paced read that held desire, intrigue and tons of fun from its beginning till its end. Read More. . . http://www.blackravensreviews.com/aut...
Received this ARC for an honest review. ~ Wow! Thrilling, sexy and nail biting action packed all in one book. Jayne has done it again. Get this series! You won't be disappointed.
So the cynical part art of me totally believes the bad guys would go that far. The ever hopeful part of me would like a miracle cure to be posted all over the place, especially since I volunteer for a group that benefits kids brain cancer research. Except for the super speed of it, Miguel and Sabine’s relationship felt rather real to me. The introduction of his dominant side was interesting.
Damn that was SEXY AS HELL. I knew Miguel's story was gonna be hot, but didn't realize it would break my heart as much as it would make my body ache. Cannot wait to Tosin's story know.

Review:
This series is getting better and better!
Miguel is now my favorite Divemaster. He is all alpha male and fan your panties hot. Sabine is great too. She is a take action kind of girl, not afraid of her sexuality, but earthy too. They are combustible together from first meeting and both go for the attraction they are feeling towards each other. Of course Jayne comes up with new and unique BDSM equipment. I loved the plot and setting of the story. I have a special fondness for Hawaii stories since I lived there for a few years and so want to go back. So reading Jayne's rich descriptions of the islands gives me a quick fix. The plot of searching for a cure for cancer and looking for items in nature that can do it, I thought was rather timely and very realistic. Besides all the sexy goodness and science, there is a mystery in this story too. Someone killed Sabine's mentor and now they are after her. The action part was pretty much contained to the last quarter of the book, but it was intense and had me on the edge of my seat. The first three-quarters of the book centers around Miguel's and Sabine's budding relationship and the continuing of Sabine's mentors research.
Great second book in the series and I cannot wait to see what happens in Toisin's story.
5Stars
*I received a copy of this book from the Author in exchange for a fair and honest review.*
Together with his best friends, Archer and Tosin - who are more like family, Miguel Torres owns and works aboard the Divemaster; a luxury mega yacht which is their home, and home base to the Banks Foundation. Though he is living out his wildest dreams and finally has a place to call home, Miguel can't help but wonder if he'll be able to find someone to fill the void that a never ending string of vacation flings ever could.
With the help of her mentor's widow, Dr. Sabine Renyolds secures a placement aboard the Divemaster to continue with his research. When she is greeted by Miguel at the airport sparks instantly fly and Sabine embraces her free spirited nature to let the wind take her where it may. Both Miguel and Sabine know that this arrangement is temporary, and decide to enjoy the ride while it lasts, but as tension rises in the lab, are they getting in over their heads?
This is book 2 in the Divemasters series and I literally could not put this down! As much as I didn't want it to end, I finished in one day. With book 1, Going Down, already establishing the origins of the Banks Foundation and the Divemaster, book 2 gives way to more action right from the start.
Throughout the Divemasters series, so far, I thoroughly enjoy the supporting characters (Captain Alex, and Banks to name a few) who are prone to stealing scenes and generally just being awesome and adding another dimension to the story. Banks in particular seems to be a guardian and father figure who may.. perhaps... be a bit meddlesome with his wards' best interests in mind.
One thing I always love about Jayne Rylon's characters is that you're given enough background to understand them and their motives without overdoing it. You, as the reader, have more leeway to develop the characters in your mind which I feel makes them more real.
As with book 1, Jayne's love of scuba shines throughout Going Deep in the both the subtle details and vivid descriptions. This is an excellent summer read where you'll get to experience the tropical weather by day and steamy heat at night.
The second book in Ms. Rylon's Divemasters series focused on Miguel and Sabine. Miguel Torres is one of the Divemasters--an alpha and a Dominant, who wants nothing more than to find a life partner. A woman to love and cherish forever. Miguel has no doubt Sabine Reynolds is that woman--especially since she practically falls into his arms the moment he meets her.
Rising from the ashes of her mentor, Heinrich Geld's tragic death and trying to overcome her guilt that she wasn't there for him when he needed her, Sabine boards the The Divemaster, in the hopes that she can retrace her mentor's steps and rediscover exactly what he was working on. Finding the man of her dreams wasn't on her "to do" list and Miguel is an unexpected bonus.
Working side by side, Sabine and Miguel traverse the warm waters off the Hawaiian coast, collecting every specimen they can. Little do they know the danger they're in from rival researchers who'll stop at nothing to prevent Sabine's success at finding the cure. Will Sabine and Miguel survive both the potential loss of the cure and their relationship if the research isn't successful? Is love worth more than a cure?
I really enjoyed Sabine and Miguel's story. It was a terrific example of love at first sight--but believable. Plus they had an interconnection with their individual relationships with Heinrich--something that brought them even closer together. I couldn't help but root for the two of them to let go of their fear of the future and live in the present--to enjoy the romance that was happening. I also loved the support from Archer, Waverly, Tosin and Banks in both their relationship and in the research as a whole. It was so fun seeing them all interact with each other again and I can't wait until we get Tosin's story next.
Miguel is a carefree, live in the moment, laid back and sexy as all get out Divemaster. He make an impression in Going Down and has reader falling for him in Going Deep. A total Alpha. He had the type of dominance that I love in my heroes. He is strong, will take charge, takes cares what he needs to and has a sweet, caring and gentle side that makes him sexy as so.
Sabine is a free spirited scientist. She fun, sweet, and has just enough sass to keep people on their toes. She’s also a very determined woman. I love that she had this almost hippie way about her. On the move, an open mind and willing to do what it take. Sabine is one hell is of a woman.
Going Hard takes readers on an exotic adventure of the most erotic proportions. Sabine and Miguel are that rare couple that are brought together by circumstance, a need for help and just a bit of fate. An instant connection and off the charts chemistry heat the passion hard and fast. In the heat of passion they develop a bond, a friendship beyond anything either of them was looking for. I loved their easy way with each other. They are the yin to each other’s yang.
Jayne Rylon has once again given her readers a breathtaking book in more ways than one. Her passion for scuba diving shines through the pages as were taken on an underwater adventure. The setting is almost a character in the story. The passion is incredible. The characters extremely well written and the story is more than engaging. Ms. Rylon will keep you on your toes, then slam you with passion. My favorite type of read.
I received and advanced copy of Going Deep for review.
I decided at that time that I would quickly read bk 1, and I'm glad I did. Although the stories aren't continuations from the previous story, and there are no cliffhangers. It was nice to know how the Divemasters started their grand adventures and how they got to be where they are today.
Going Deep was emotional from the start. Down on life and exhausted Sabine finds solice in Divemasters' generosity and acceptance. In the family relationship she finds on the dream yatch with the Divemasters adopted family and crew.
Miguel is living the life of his dreams as a Divemaster with his best friends, and finds that perhaps with his nomadic home and family the way that it is maybe he might be ready to find that special someone just for him.
Many laughs at the 3 friends jokes and antics. Along with Banks who seems to be the divemasters 'Fairy Godfather' as it was so eloquently put. And Captain Alex who seems to look out for them all and is sometimes the voice of reason. Down to earth characters that are easy to relate to, laugh and cry with.
The detail given of the underwater scenes was spectacular by far. And those of the sights also from air and land. A beautiful place to visit in my journey lost in a book.
Jayne winds a story of friendship, laughter, romance, suspense with a little BDSM to spice things up. Very well written. Easy simple read to pick up any time. But very hard to put down once you start.
One more divemasters to go. I can't wait for Tosin's book.
