I'm really impressed by Gaku Yakumaru's novels and his talent! The characters and their emotions were so well crafted and realistic! After about 8 or so books he still keeps coming up with well written, thoughtful novel like this!
There was a lot of repetitive expressions used throughout in terms of the writing, but I enjoyed the content. It was slow paced and cathartic in its conclusion; in the end, that father son relationship is portrayed with all of its ugliness, its distance, its trying, and the expressions of love that parents do that children don't feel.
