Time of death at 12% That moment i sensed FSoG vibe. I guess maybe it was written and published during that time.

Warning quotes and more quotes.

Dear Lawd! This book is baaaaaaad! Like really Baaad! I was in the mood for some supernatural/ paranormal story, i guess i should have looked somewhere else.

This time it's:

description

Definitely it is the book.

Grey Opsy! Zander is a shade wearing billionaire vampire, he drives a dark car and believes Anastasia Double opsy! Christian, belongs to him, after all, he chose him.

This is Zander telling Christian to break up with his boyfriend because Christian is HIS! (MINE MINE! MINE!)

He raises his eyebrow and tilts his head. “Indeed, I do, but I need you to cut all ties with him. He’s a user, and I don’t like him touching things that belong to me.”
“Belong to you? What’s he touching? He hasn’t even met you.”
“I picked you. I’ve waited for you, and I want you, Mr. Bowman. You belong to me.”
Whoa! I cough as I almost choke on my wine.
He stands back up confidently. “And I know you want me.”

I was like:

description

So, they kiss and then Christian Grey Zander says:

“Fuck, Christian. You’re making me break all the rules.” Rules?
“Come with me. I need to make you understand everything before anything can happen between us. You have to know what you’re getting into. It’s the rules.”
“Who makes these rules? Someone that doesn’t like to get laid?” I joke, yet he doesn’t crack a smile.

And this is only at 10%. We don't even know the characters. But they are already breaking rules.

Again, i was like:

description

Then at 12% Christian G. Ugh! Opsy! Zander reveals he is a vampire:

Zander points his face up to the ceiling again. I keep my eyes on him this time. I wait for the lights to go out because that’s what happened last time, but they stay lit. He takes a couple of big breaths and then faces me. He opens his mouth with a sigh and exposes a set of fangs, white and long.
Holy fuck.
Everything in me tells me to run, to get the hell out of here, yet I am still drawn to him. I cannot take my eyes off him, and I shuffle nervously toward him. I know it’s not possible, but his movements mimic as though he’s watching me. “If I touch you, you won’t bite me?” I stutter tensely.
He smiles and laughs. “No, I have impeccable self-control. That’s why I haven’t fucked you every time you were around me. Believe me, I wanted to.”

And i was like:

description

description

Ok last one i promise:

“Are you going to make me a vampire?”
“Oh, the movies ruin everything. I want to make you my lover.”
His lover? His words stir in me, and my cock instantly swells.
“Many vampires take lovers, and their lovers will let them feed on them. The vampire just has to know when to stop.”
“You could kill me?”
“I could. I would never, though. I care too much for you. I’ve watched you since you were young. I’ve waited until you aged to the prime of my taste.”

Like SERIOUSLY?

I am scratching my head wondering about all the 5 stars I saw when I first purchased this book. I just went back and looked, and many of them were beta readers, so that explains some.

It's my understanding that this is the first book for this author, and for that I commend May. It can't be easy to put your self out there for the first time. So I'm going to try to make this moderately productive instead of ranting.....

The story had a good set up and good background. That part was fine. Even a good cover that pulls you in. But it completely fell apart in the dialogue and thought processes of our main MC. This is honestly very immature writing. I don't mean that the characters were immature, which some were, but the writing itself.

We've got immature characters plus immature writing plus .

And then I come back around to the editing. This is an indie author (assuming) so the fault here lies strongly with the betas. I'm a beta reader/editor myself, and the misspellings and grammar mistakes were abundant! All of the betas are lining up to give 5 stars without doing this author proud with their roles ahead of time. I'm sorry, but this just didn't cut it at all. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I have to rate the book, my first book :), because it's mine and I love it. It makes me so happy. I can't wait for all to read Christian and Zander's story. I've very proud of myself, it's not conceited, it's a big accomplishment. I'm enjoying every minute of this. <3 Thank you to everyone for their support!!! all your opinions, good or bad, means everything.

"I want you. I've waited for you. You belong to me, Mr. Bowman."....Zander.

DNF at 30%

After 0nly 30%, I have found these (some similarities with Silver&Black that unfortunatelly, I read it first.)

Here are the list :

Same age 22 (Christian and Grey), both Silver and Zander (31).
Scholarship.
Working for the soon to be lover.
Blind and almost blind.
Dark haired, flawless and ridiculously handsome, a yum worthy body.
Sun glasses intact all the time (seriously?).
C&G had a fuck buddy (Jeff&Kevin).
First dinner date, picked up by the boss.
Silver&Zander owned a club.
They have their own chef at home.
First date night, spent the night, no sex.
The bosses pay the boys rent.

Want some more? Guess not. I DNF this book anyway.
Sorry F, gotta let you suffered alone :P

There. I said it.

*** 2 pathetic stars ***

description

Dear author,

Considering you are so lucky I read this book after Silver & Black.
Cuz if not, your S&B will ended at 2 or maybe 1 star from me.

Why ?

Because...

Reading this book is like reading paranormal version of "Silver & Black".

No kidding ?
No.

You'll find similarities between the two, like...

* There's still with Cinderfella theme. One is multi young-billionaire with poor student that work as his employee at his coffee shop. While the other one is a hundred-years-multi-billionaire-vampire with - again - poor student that - coincidentally - work as tour-guide at his company.

* Both Christian & Grey (what coincidence huh ?) comes from similar backgrounds, have no parents at young age, live from one foster home to another foster home, independent in life, working from young age to support his student loans all by himself, have good grade, smart but also insecure, both have someone watched over him from distance like "guardian angel". Even their physical appearance almost similar.

* Both Silver & Zander have similar appearance too, tall, dark hair, one is blind, while the other one almost blind, black glasses, suit, intimidating, controlling, and a stalker. But not like Silver with his patients, Zander *sigh* and his child-like tantrums annoyed me a bit.
As a hundreds years vampire living...and leads a lots of vampire under his line, I can not believe it he could act like 5 years old kid when he faced Christian's stubbornness.
So immature....so-not- vampire ...

And, both Silver & Zander had stalking Grey & Christian's life from their childhood years !

Please, can it supposed to be more..."creative" ?

How about the insta-love & TSTL things ?

I'm not an insta-love lovers, so when one of the MC start to do that TSTL-things to the vamps ?
It's a meh things for me.
But later then I know the reason behind why he act like that, but still it won't change anything.

How about the cheating thing ?

Actually, I have a bit "tolerance" with the cheating things, BUT it depends...

And what Zander did over a hundred years ago still not strong enough to stir what that happen in present time. Even if it's trying to  "prove" of what he called "true love will never die" and "true love conquer time and space" ?
No, nu-uh !
Instead, I feel sorry for

I know that this is the author's first "debut", and it's very natural if she made so many mistakes and immature writing, but...after I read both this book and S&B, I see no development in her writing.
So, I reach my conclusion that her writing didn't suit me well.

For a person that being falsely "accused" for only liking the sex scenes rather than the story not so long ago...
I need to cleared something here...

For me...

"A book without sex scenes is boring, and a lot of sex scenes without good storyline is trash".

I admit, I do LIKE sex scenes, but if it comes with no interesting storyline ?
It's become nothing !

If the story have good storyline that could consumed me enuf, then the hell with all those sex scenes !
I don't even care whether the sex is explicit or not.
I'll read it.

So...?
Yes, as an avid reader, I have my own rules, standards and...limits.
And authors who know me so well, will know that I only speak the truth and trying to be honest.

This book had failed me pathetically in both ways.

I'm pretty sure that if I read this book first, and with all the similarities ?
Trust me...S&B will not passed my "three standards" like this one !

Just so you know, it's not my usually habit to make a teaser for a book under 3 stars. So why now ?

It just because...

One thing that have my full credit - again - the cover. It's five stars cover indeed.

**I was given an ACR from the author for my honest review**

I was very lucky this author gave me the opportunity to beta for this book.

From the very beginning I was very intrigued and pulled in to Zander and Christians love story. Christian Bowman had a very tragic childhood and Zander is a blind vampire. I don’t want to say too much and give this story away because the twist and turns to this story are what made it so good. What I will say Christian is a very strong willed human that is willing to stand by his man’s side no matter what is thrown at them and Zander is the sweetest most loving vampire (I really want my own Zander). Their love story to me was very beautiful and original. Christian and Zander have made it into my top m/m couples of all time.

“I picked you. I’ve waited for you, and I want you, Mr. Bowman. You belong to me.”

We get this story in two parts with the first showing us how Zander and Christian came to be this awesome couple.

“It was him-all him. He’s my angel…my angel of darkness.”

With the second part we get to see what it’s like to be a human in love with a vampire. Their love is put to the test. Zander’s world is very dark and dangerous and Christian in thrown into the deep end from the start.
“The realm of darkness is my existence”

Along the way we get to meet some awesome secondary cast with Billy, Cash, Lenox and Vanessa. I am really excited to get a second book because I am truly not ready to let these characters go.

“I love you, Zander. I am yours forever. Claim me body, mind, and soul. Taste
me tonight; bite me for the first time.”

I would recommend this book to anybody that loves a good paranormal love story with a good plot.

REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE

My first review book of 2015 and a new to me author has blown me away. I love a good Vampire story and let me tell you this was a really good one! If I ever had to describe my ideal perfect, sexy, possessive vamp it would be Zander!

This is a tale of past and present that the author has intertwined perfectly. It is a tale of true and lasting love that has to wait for its chance to exist and when finally it does it is all consuming.

Zander has lived a long life as a Vampire and as a leader he leads with honesty and a true heart. He fell in love once and it was a true love that he has neither gotten over nor forgotten. Circumstances beyond his control have led him to lead the life he has but he has never given up hope of finding that love again. He is a successful business man who doesn’t allow the fact that he is blind impact his life in any way.

Christian lost his parents as a child and has always had a fascination with anything paranormal. As a child he fantasised about a guardian angel of sorts visiting him at night but as an adult those memories are forgotten as he makes his way in life and just wants someone to love. He lands the perfect job only to discover not only are vampires real but his boss is the most badass vampire he is likely to meet and that that vampire wants him all to himself.

Zander has all bases covered when it comes to his Vampires. He makes sure they can feed safely and he governs them with a strict but fair hand. He is a stickler for the rules of their society and if punishments or even death are required he doesn’t hold back. When he brings Christian into his world he tries to do it slowly so the younger man isn’t shocked but Christian is strong willed and once he knows that Vampires actually exist he wants to know everything about them, even the darker and gorier side. This causes some problems initially as the strong willed man won’t take no for an answer.

As they settle down into their new relationship their past comes back to haunt them as Vampires are being killed under their noses. Love is a powerful thing and for a love that has been shunned the line between love and hate is blurred and puts everyone’s lives in danger.

There are some great secondary characters and I hope we get to see more of Billy and Cash. This is definitely an author I will be following closely and hopefully we haven’t seen the last of Christian and Zander.

***this is a honest review from an ARC I was given for review from the author***
I met Tyler on Twitter about a year ago and have followed her fan-fiction. When she told me she was writing her first novel, I was thrilled for her. Being new to the genre(m/m), she introduced me to amazon and Goodreads and life outside of the fan-fiction world. I am so glad she did because my world has been crazy busy with all the great reads lately.

Tyler offered me an advance readers copy of her book Angel of Darkness. I've never met Tyler in person, but I feel that she and I have a special bond as on-line friends so I was happy she picked me to read this for her. She only asked that I honestly review it and give her feed back and that I did, but I wanted to review it here as well.

My review of Angel of Darkness:

First of, let me say that I love this couple. Zander is a blind vampire and he searched for his love, Christian. I won't give it away but the build-up of their relationship is beautiful and the outcome of how they fell in love reaches beyond imagination.

The first part of the story is their(Zander and Christian's) love story. The second, which is entitled the after-bite, details what life as a couple is like in a vampires world.

Imagine the trials that a normal couple will go through now add dark and dangerous vampire things to it, you get a story all must read.

The characters are all likable if not darn right lovable, I know I loved them all. I loved Billy! He is a secondary character you will meet in the first half, but fall in love with in the second. I want more of him, please Tyler!

What else can I say without giving it away: this vampire story isn't all gore. It's a love story with meaning behind every turn. I really think that if you aren't into vampire stories to give it a try. If you are into vampire stories you'll love it. But it's a love story first.

The sex is incredible and the one scene(will not spoil) in the second half was eeewww and awwww all in one. lol

Basically, I can't wait for everyone to read Angel of Darkness when it's released on November 22nd. I am just glad that I had the chance to read it early. Good Job Tyler.
Can't wait for more from you. Hope this review helps.

I am totally a vampire Zander and Christian fan. Oh and let's not leave out Vampire Billy. Hint. I want more of him.

DNF at 43% This book left me wondering why it got close to average 4 stars with many people gave it five stars. This book is certainly not working for me on so many levels.

The dialogues... I usually complain that authors write sex scenes to pad out their books or MCs have sex instead of communicate to avoid having to write dialogues and really getting the MCs to know each other instead of reading minds. But this book is overflown with dialogues. Dialogues that felt off for me in the way that I can't really explain. What I can say is that I felt there was no nuance in these dialogues. They felt stilted and perhaps a bit wooden somehow... Above all, they were distracting. Each dialogues section felt as though it was a West Wing style of full page dialogues, except it felt off.

The maturity levels. Christian was 21 y/o and in college. I would allow that he behaved like a brat. He also has a touch of "Too Stupid to Live" gene in him too. However, Zander, who is the leader of his group, over a hundred years old, did not behave like a wise older man. He read more like he was in his 20s and not over hundreds. The way the dialogues were written certainly didn't help. He was as temperamental as his 21 y/o partner. He certainly didn't read like leader to me, at least not a good leader who really know his underlings.

The edits. This book is in serious need a good, if vicious, editor. The concept, in so much as what I read so far, was fairly ok but the style of writing and how the dialogues keep stacking over each other felt, to me, so un-novel like. Plus there were many mistakes peppered through out the book, eg. You're instead of Your, etc.

I felt as though the author love her work, perhaps a tad too much, that this book came off as taking itself way too seriously. Despite how, for me, it didn't have much leg to stand on.

I may come back to read this on and off later but really... People who gave this book 4-5 stars should read other top tier authors in this genre and see if their opinion change.

What do you do when, what you always thought of as a legend, becomes reality.

Christian has lost everything when he was only a child. He has no parents, no relatives, no one to call his own.

The only constant in his life has been that shadow in the corner of his room that kept him company when, as a child, he was alone and scared at night.

Now he is an adult and fascinated by vampire books. He works for the mysterious Zander in an attraction park that offers guided tours to places where vampires “supposedly” live.

He has no idea that his life is about to change and that feeling of loss he always had goes way back into a past he cannot yet remember.

Zander has lived alone in the darkness waiting for the day when he’ll find HIM again. Fate works in mysterious ways and one night, he’ll save a child that will become the most important person in his life.

What I can tell you is that you’ll love this book. For being a debut author, Tyler did a wonderful job in creating a story full of romance, mystery, suspense with an array of charismatic and fascinating characters.

She even managed to make me love that annoying, spiteful character who was supposed to be the bad guy of the story but managed to get under my skin in no time.

I can’t wait to read more about Zander, Christian and all the others because they still have a lot to tell us.

Well done, lady! I recommend.

Happy Reading!

I was fortunate to beta read this wonderful book. It's difficult to believe this is Ms Mays first book.

Zander is a sweet loving blind vampire. He is hot and a bit Alpha. Christian is a lovely young man who at a very young age lost his parents to a tragic accident. These two men find each other through their work environment and well, the sparks and sexual chemistry are through the roof.

This is one thrilling roller coaster paranormal story. But there is alot more going on than a love story between 2 men. Tyler May has written a hell of a mystery here. It sure had me guessing what was going on and how this book would conclude.

There are several secondary characters that I hope get their own stories. I know they deserve it!

This was another incredible read for me and I hope to read more from this new author.

I must say this is like no other Vampire love story you will ever read. It's gripping and beautiful and dark, but in a way that's real to the nature of the beast. I fell in love with the story and the characters, even one's who you want to cheerfully choke are done in a manner that lend nothing but strength and substance to the story.

I look forward to many more books from this author and would recommend Angel of Darkness to anyone looking for an incredibly against the odds vampire romance.

I for one loved Angel of Darkness!

I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to read this before release - and what a read it was!
This is so much more than a Vampire love story. I was hooked from the beginning, but to me the second part of the story is where I was truly captivated. I was on the edge of my seat wondering just where the story would go, and I was not disappointed.
You will love Christian and Zander, and if you are anything like me, you are hoping we get more of Billy in future books!
Hard to believe this is Tyler's first book, it's a brilliant read.

Vampire or Paranormal story is not my thing. I picked this up just because of the gorgeous cover.

I was skeptical because of all those 4 and 5* rating from the people who got a free copy of the book.
But I must say that I really enjoyed the story, it's a true page turner. Maybe just because I loved my MC who was dark, dangerous, mysterious and handsome. :-)

I wonder what a shitty work all the beta readers have done because there were quite a lot of editing mistakes.

It's a 3.5* read for me, I give it a 4* just because of the cover.

*This book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review*

A vampire and a human falling in love is nothing new so unless you have something unique to offer and have good twists, it may not get the recognition it deserves. Thankfully this book has both. Angel of Darkness is about a 21 year old man named Christian who works as a tour guide in a vampire tourist show. When Christian was young, he and his parents were in a car accident where his parents unfortunately didn’t make it but Christian did with a few scratches. No one knew how he made it out and Christian was too weak to remember what happened that night. As he grew up in foster homes he started to love, read, and watched anything that deals with vampires and even though he doesn’t believe in them, he still likes to enjoy them. One day his boss, Zander, invites him over to his house for supper and Christian obliges and goes. He’s always been attracted to Zander and even though Zander is only 10 years older than him, he never figured he had a shot with him. During dinner Zander explains how he was at the accident scene and helped get Christian out of the car. He says that he’s been watching him for a while (ironically because he happens to be blind.) He also explains that he is a vampire and Christian is his soul mate. At first Christian doesn’t believe him but after Zander shows him his fangs and explains the vampire rules he slowly starts to believe and understand. Zander tells him that no matter what he will never hurt him, will always care, protect, and make sure that Christian is happy. Christian wants to start a relationship but Zander tells him to leave and think about it to make sure it’s something he really wants. After thinking about the pros and cons of dating a vampire he says they can try. Their relationship starts off good, until one instance at a vampire club where Christian sees something he shouldn’t. After calming down, Zander wants to protect Christian by breaking up with him so he will never have to see the bad parts of the vampire world. But Christian has to try to convince Zander that he’s still all in and won’t be scared away. If he wants to be with Zander, he will have to learn that a vampire’s world is going to have its good points and bad. But something even more sinister is out there hunting and killing vampires and will stop at nothing to try to tear Zander and Christian apart.
This book is so good! It has funny moments, sweet moment, sad moments, hot crazy scenes, and a shocking kick ass ending. The characters seemed like real genuine people who cared and loved each other so much. You learn about the vampire world as Christian learns and feel whatever he’s feeling whether it be confusion, happiness, or sadness. The story draws you in and you really don’t want to put it down for anything. If you’re looking for a hot and enjoyable vampire book than I’d highly recommend this.

*ARC provided by Author in exchange of an honest review.*

*4.5 stars*

First of all, I got to say I hadn’t read a vampire story in years and Paranormal is not what I usually read, however, I really enjoyed this foray into the genre very much.

The first part of the story dragged a bit, there was a lot of information as the author set up the rest of the story and I wasn’t too certain I’d love Zander, the blind vampire, all that much. He was a more than a bit controlling, possessive, jealous, kind of reminded me of Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to be honest (and let me tell you now, Angel wasn’t my favorite vamp in the series). Christian, the other male lead, on the other hand, I loved from the get-go. He had a mile-long stubborn streak that I adored and no matter if Zander tried to control him in some way, he gave as good as he got. It probably helped that the story is told in Christian’s POV and that I loved reading his inner thoughts almost as much as I loved reading everything else.

The second part of the story was absolutely amazing, though! Not only did I fall in love with Zander, but with Billy, his fledging, too. Billy was such a wonderful secondary character, with lots of potential, some of which we saw in this book.

I adored the growth all characters showed, how they learned to work through their differences and come out on top. I loved that Zander realized he’d underestimated both Christian and Billy and made an effort to be better. And I loved that by the end of the story, we see both characters at a more even playing field regarding their relationship.

Loved the chemistry between Zander and Christian, too; the sex scenes were hot and didn’t feel repetitive and they held a nice balance with the rest of the plot.

While we still got lots of information in this part as well, it was woven into the story masterfully. This part was fast-paced and fantastically written. I loved how Tyler May integrated demon and vampire lore and even a touch of black magic into the story and made it her own, and how everything that was mentioned at some point came into play once we reached the climax of the book, which was very satisfying.

I really enjoyed the story and I’m impressed that this is Tyler May’s first book, it was a fantastic debut novel and I’ll be eagerly waiting for more of this series and anything else Tyler writes.

A review by The Blogger Girls.

Christian is a young guy, on his own since his parents’ death at an early age. He finds out pretty quickly in the story that not only are vampires real, but that he works for one. His eyes are opened pretty quickly after that.

Zander is not just a sexy vampire, he’s a blind sexy vampire, who also happens to be the head vampire. He’s also not like other vamps in that he has been biding his time until his soul mate attains the right age. That soul mate is Christian, whom Zander has been watching over since Christian’s parents were killed. But their bond goes even beyond that. This is no fleeting thing for Zander. He does everything he can to shield and protect Christian as he grew up and then nurtured his transition into a relationship with a vampire.

It takes some convincing, but Christian soon decides he is willing to sacrifice things to be in such a relationship. After all, he’s still a human and the two lead very different lives, due to restrictions and diets, etc. Unfortunately, that isn’t all he must get used to – vampires are very dangerous, at times ruthless and violent, creatures. There is only so much Zander can hide from Christian, especially as the head vamp, but Christian takes most of it in stride and remains devoted to Zander.

There are interesting side characters, some with their own stories, like the vampires’ allies on the police force, and others who try to cause trouble, such as Zander’s second. It was interesting to learn a little about them and to see Christian’s relationships with them change as boundaries are set. They each had their own voices, mannerisms and issues that are dealt with in different ways.

The first part of this story was enjoyable as the guys get to know one another and learn and explore their differences and connection. The second part really picks up and gets more interesting. There is more danger with a murderer on the loose, though the vampires seem to be more at risk than the humans. The writing seemed to really smooth out or feel more polished by the end, and I think Ms. May has a lot of potential. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more from her in the future.

Two things drew me to this title. First, hearing positive reviews of a first novel always piques my interest. Second, several reviews opened with the statement that readers enjoyed the story, despite not being overly interested in paranormal romances or vampire characters, which to me is an indicator of some creativity and cleverness from the author.

I was pleased on both accounts. The chemistry between Zander and Christian meant that the romance sizzled, the tempers clashed, and the relationship was continually being renegotiated. Before I could wonder if the angst would simply remain on low simmer as the two argued, a murder mystery was introduced into the plot line, and the pace continued to move.

Any author faces trade-offs on where to place the reader's focus, and in the early stages of character development, I did feel there were missed opportunities for Christian to 'see' Zander's world through his partner's sightless eyes, Instead, Zander navigated his environment through heightened vampire senses a little too easily.

However, other creative details, such as tracking through vampire blood in a human's system; heightened emotions that may surface after sex while feeding; and, explanations for why vampire semen is not for procreation all show May has good instincts for knowing when to explain the world the characters live in and how to make it compelling enough to continue to suspend disbelief and enjoy story telling.

There are also moments of sentimentality and humor that shine. Once Christian feels secure enough in his relationship with his temperamental vampire, he calls Zander out for "dropping fangs on him" in the middle of an argument. Readers can sense how Christian pauses at the comment, "I bet you look absolutely stunning" that comes from Zander at the foot of the bed, as he directs an unseeing gaze at the man bound before him.

The climax included several characters introduced late in the story into a rescue mission, a classic showdown of good and evil, which made it a bit harried. However, the action moved quickly enough to overlook the rougher edges of the last few chapters. I do recommend this title, and will look for future releases from this author.

I had been eagerly waiting this book. I must say I wasn't disappointed.A short synopsis blind Vampire Zander meets Christian ,human in every sense of the word. This book isn't your average craze blood dripping vamp book, its a love story a romance set in the world of shadows myth and darkness. Lovers of both MM romance and sexy vampires will devour this like a hungry vampire who hasn't fed in a long long time. Zander old as time hungers for the very human Christian. Zander is all alpha male Christian loves the A in zanders Alpha. Angel of darkness takes you on their journey , finding a happy medium in two very different worlds. I really enjoyed the often smart and sassy mouth of Christian and Zanders growly yet loving ways.
The story may have the shadows of evil and darkness clouding the pages but the love between the two main characters illuminates the darkness with love and hope for a happy ever after.... Tyler May has cleverly used a dark theme and turned it into a beautiful and sexy romp between two very lovable characters. her secondary characters are just as engaging. I would love to read a sequel or perhaps a spin off of the other characters. In all honesty you don't have to love love vampire stories to fall for this little gem .If you love sexy vamps hot male lovin and a little twist of mystery , take a chance and sink your teeth into Angel of Darkness you will be back for another BITE

Tyler May has given us yet another lovable couple! I really liked both Zander and Christian and cannot wait to read more about them and the other characters that were introduced in this story. A fast-paced, easy read, Angel of Darkness is full of love, laughter, steamy scenes, suspense and danger! What more can a reader ask for?
Christian finds his slightly older but devilishly handsome boss undeniably attractive despite the fact that the man is blind. Little does he know that Zander finds him just as attractive nor does he know that Zander is not a man at all!
When Christian learns the truth he is neither afraid of or repulsed by Zander's true nature and the two men become lovers, just barely getting to know each other before their troubles begin. Young and handsome, Christian is coveted by more than one man and there are more than a few attempts to lure him away from his new lover. But this personal drama is overshadowed by the murders that have been committed right there in the basement of Zander's exclusive club. As an unknown threat looms closer to the new lovers, they must learn to trust those around them and more importantly, who not to trust.
Full of love, desire, magic, and the age-old battle between good and evil, An Angel of Darkness is another must read for any die-hard paranormal romance fan!

Five fanfreakingtastic stars!

You wanted an honest review, this is it!

The idea of reading a book about vampires, let alone gay vampires, left my kinda sceptical. I love gay romance but vampires have always been a no-interest for me. Yeah I know it's fantasy fiction, still I could never get into the whole blood sucking for pleasure deal. Then I came across the blurb for Tyler's book. A blind vampire? A blind gay vampire? Now there was a concept I could sink my teeth into. (pun intended lol)
Talk about the dark side, I needed to know more. Yes I was leery, I was expecting the Dracula bluh, bluh thing, but was surprisingly pleased with Tyler's take on the vampire realm. Taking what we have seen in the movies and read in books he gives it a much needed modern twist, he has managed to create a dark world all its own. He had me enticed from the first passage.
Without giving anything away, I must say that Zander and Christian's story is one that must be read, it has romance, deep seeded love, mystery and suspense, thrills and action with plenty of hot sex mingled in.
If I could give it more starts Tyler May they would be endless, thanks for the adventure, you have managed to gain a vampire fan. I look forward to reading more from you!

Tyler MayAngel of Darkness
I have had the good option to read this book before publication, and I have to report that for her first book not many Authors I have read could meet this standard.

I have really enjoyed the storyline and charactors that much, I read the book three times just to be sure that I was reading the storyline straight and not mixing it with other ebooks I have read. I am pleased to report that I wasn't. The story is full of suspense and mystery and in one part it actually made me cry. so be warned if soft hearted you may need a box of tissues beside you as well.

Tyler stop panicing the story is amazing and will do really well. 10/10 can't wait until it comes out to buy, because i'll be reading it again

Humans and Vampires and demons. OH MY! And witches, can't forget the witches lol. This is fantasy at it's finest! I loved the entire concept behind this. I'm hesitant with vampire books, (honestly, I'm just tired of them) but I won this book and was excited because I read Tyler May's Silver & Black and knew I loved her writing. I was not disappointed. There I was at 1 in the morning on my couch, tears falling from my eyes. It was a beautiful story. It was a sexy story. It was an epic fantasy and I am so thrilled to have found this writer and can't wait to indulge in this series as the books are produced.

I really enjoyed this, I did not get a free copy, nor was I a beta reader. The story was engaging and the characters interesting. It was romantic and the sex scenes were hot! Yes there were a few mistakes, but I was so involved in the story that I did not notice them, I often find myself removed from a story because I can't get over the myriad of mistakes, but I did not find that with this book.

I recommend this book to others who enjoy a good mm romance and I can't wait for the sequel about Billy and Cash.

For some reason I don't understand, I found the beginning of the book slow going. I had a hard time getting into it. But I am glad for my persistence, because after the second or third chapter I was sucked in. Not just your average vampire meets boy story; there is demonic possession, revenge, a dark magic worker, and reincarnation. There was also a moment that to me seemed Harry Potter inspired where deceased relatives showed up to help, and show their love and support for one of the mc's. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

I was intrigued with this story from the first chapter. The plot is familiar to me at first, but the twist will keep you guessing what would happen next and who is trustworthy.I love the romance and chemistry between the two main characters and I love group of secondary characters too. Hoping that they get stories too. With a mystery to solve, the tensions are high but not to worry there are comedic moments that I think bring balance to the story. There is a happy ending with more to come.
