When William walked into the council chambers, he assumed it was going to be another boring council meeting. Since becoming a council member, he had experienced few exciting meetings; it was why he took up the job as the council enforcer. He preferred hunting the bad guy.
But when a mortal is able to behead two council guards and attempts to execute a thousand plus year old vampire, William knows the meeting has gotten exciting. It’s not until the interrogation that he learns just how bewildering it actually is, and he has to decide, does he get involved or simply follow orders?
An old foe is back. The council is in danger. Thus, the entire vampire race is in danger. Can William learn everything he needs to know and inform the council before his enemy finds what he is looking for, or will William fail and the entire vampire race and possibly the world be doomed?
