Pete lives with his brother Hank and really annoys him as he stays home all of the time playing chess online (which he is really good at). Finding a crazy medallion that can change you into another person gives Hank an idea to use Pete's talent to make some money entering a chess competition. The thing is the one coming up is for children.

Hank manages to get some clothes to use with the medallion, though the ones to be used weren't his first choice. So it was that Hank became Grace and Pete her daughter Melody. Melody was a seven year old sensation and further events followed. When tragedy stuck little Melody was left alone, but her talent had brought her to the attention of a wealthy couple.

This story really came together very well as Melody tried to cope in a new reality.

A story from the heart

Using magic Pete Stark becomes a young girl and uses his chess skills to make money. After a murder he is trapped in a little girl's body. The book covers how he comes to love his adoptive mother and finally herself. She vows to become the best girl she can and to love her new parents. The story is touching and filled with love. Please enjoy this thoughtful book.

Excellent storyline

One of the most enjoyable stories that I have read in a long time and I have read a lot. Few people get second chances in life and this was a very heartwarming example. I cannot praise this one enough.
