There needs to be more decent Christian books for younger folk- and they need to be more like this one.
It's brilliant- chock full of quality explanation and decent theology, simply put, in a way that is amazingly live-able. I'm glad we're doing it at Challengers on a Sunday because it gets some brilliant points across from the story of Gideon- especially when it shows that Judges is all about Jesus.
Brilliant chapters on the God of Grace and how good it is to follow Him, the danger of pride, the need to be wholeheartedly for Jesus (or not at all) and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
My one comment is that it could have done more with the Gideon section and certainly could have quoted more- sort of misses bits out for the sake of being brief instead, which is a shame.
But fully deserving of the 5 stars.
