It had been nearly two years since Emma had the painful experience of watching her whole world spiral out of control. Almost losing the one man that could understand everything in her life, Emma knew that she was never going to let Micah go. Things finally were starting to make sense.
It wasn’t until one magical trip with Micah turned completely wrong. Angelica Whitmore has revenge on her mind, especially since her one true love, Sebastian Blackwood, had been ripped from her heart. The only thing she wants to happen, now, is take away everyone that Emma Blackwood loves just as Emma did to her. And then watch Emma suffer a slow and painful death.
Just when Emma thought life was going to finally be normal once again, she will have to find a way to try and save the ones she loves all while keeping herself alive and not become completely Spellbound.
This was such a great conclusion to the series. I love the characters and the growth that the characters made. It was beautifully written. Part of the book made me astonished and the made me look at things in a different way. Emma didn't deserve to be attacked like she was, I hurt for her.
This was such a full bodied story. It took the characters that we had met in books one and two and caught up with them after they had been together for a while. Then Angelica decides the time is perfect for revenge. She blames Emma for Sebastian's demise and she will not be happy until Emma suffers as she has. It is dark, fearsome, sad and riveting. I wanted to be angry at Michelle but she made it better after a while. Skillful writing at its best.
So, I never planned on writing a third book to this series. However, I felt like book 2 just ended and nothing really happened. I finished writing this series and I am not going to give any spoilers, but I was crying. Letting go of these characters finally, well, it hit me. Hard. I really hope that you enjoy the final story of the Dark Spell Series xoxo
