“It’s a proven fact that every Thug needs a real woman in his corner and every thug has a weakness…” My name is La'Von Collins and my weakness is beautiful women with nice bodies and who know how to handle their business and get money. I consider them a triple threat. As for me, well, I’m a hustler with heavy duty swag and pockets that stay on swoll. I’m young, smart and rich; three things that can make even the baddest chick weak. From Black to White, to Puerto Rican and Asian- I’ve had my share of women and they’ve loved every inch of me. I’ve lived a life that makes men envy me and women want to be with me. I remember, once upon a time an “Old Head”, told me that if you’re hustling in the streets, you need a real woman in your corner. He said a real woman, will stay by your side, when all the money is gone, when you’re no longer rocking designer tags and the foreign cars run out of gas. The kind of woman, who will be there when all the side chicks and bad chicks stop riding. A woman that when it's time to stand in front of that Judge and receive that time, she'll be there and she’ll stay down through your bid. He told me that this type of woman was the only woman worth keeping. At the time, I thought he was trippin’, stuck in the 80’s and reliving history. That’s until the day came when I was faced with everything he warned me about. The day when I realized a bad chick is good but a real woman is better. The day when my eyes were opened and I learned that I needed a fiancée like Beyoncé.

A big butt and smile is what you want. It sho ain't what you always need though. La'von was spared. If wasn't for his faith and his parents faith - he would've been up the river without a boat. Oh yeah and a great lawyer. All that time she wasn't his type. When in the end she was all he needed. Would've damn sho saved him some money and time in prison. I need to know what Trick was smoking? Bruh was tripping tripping. That's why you can't smoke with everybody.....
So many unanswered questions. Like did they find out the girl was lying? Why did his cousin start tripping like that? Where did kandi go? And what happen with his cousin girl? The book was good but, I wanted him to go into more detail. It's like he missed parts and how did they get married so quickly and she had a boyfriend? Feeling confused.
I loved it. LaVon what can you say about a young man out there. Got the best thing in front of them but will let it go for something that will turn against you when things don't go her way. There's nothing like a praying mother that he had. It took him going to jail for something he didn't do get it together. Kandi being a cougar and all get mad knowing what kind of man he was in the beginning. How do you think you can give a young man a come up and think he's going to change. Trick loved his cousin like a brother. His conscience got to him. You can't continue to do bad things and leaving bury inside. It took a hold of him with the helps of the drugs. This book is a great read.
The storyline for this book was very original and it was well written. I was on the edge of my seat, I loved the realness of the story. Whenever you read this book, you will think that you are at the movies instead of reading a book. I don't want to give the story away but I must say that La'von went through a lot to finally realized that the right woman for him was the one that he judge. This book is the best story out today and everyone who reads this book is going to give it five stars. This book held my attention from the beginning to the ending and I still want more. This book was definitely a must read and I would recommend it to others. Cole you really did your thing on this one and I can't wait to read what you come up with next.
Imma just say this is my FAVORITE author from the first time I've brought a book from him All he's done was entertained and wooed me with his work....THE CHARACTERS ARE ALWAYS ON 1000 his CHARISMATIC delivery of them never lets you forget them LA'VON IS A SEXY ENERGETIC BABE HE'S STRONG willed and personality makes you love him....Kandi just made me Angry . Trifling ....but I bet I won't forget her.....Armanii was sweet and caring a real Sista that wanted and know how to treat her man RYDAH LA'VON will the difference...THE STORYLINE WAS DARING FUNNY AND DRAMATIC I LOVED THIS BOOK .....TRICK WAS FUNNY AND COURAGEOUS......DONT WANT TO GIVE IT AWAY BUT YALL BETTA GRAB THIS OUT FREAKING STANDING
This author always coming with something different. His writing is one of a kind. This was a great read. La'Von was the man. I couldn't stand Kandi. She was playing a dangerous game and Lorenzo got what he deserved. Trick was very loyal and he had La'Von's back no matter what. I hate to see him go down. But those pills had him gone. Zed couldn't take the heat. I loved Aramani's character. She was an angel. I just hated La'Von had to go thru so much to realize she was the one for him. Great Job
I absolutely loved this book. Poor La'Von just couldn't catch a break, but I'm glad that he finally found his Beyonce. She was right there all along, he just had to go through things to realize it. I hate what happened to Trick. He was La'Vons true ride or die cousin. I highly recommend this book. Cole Hart, as usual, you did not disappoint.
Like wow I knew there was a reason I enjoy this man's books Cole hart has dine it again I knew I liked la'von for a reason Armani and la'von were my favorite trick zed and la'von you couldn't ask for a better click
Where do I begin???? La'Von has the worse luck ever and was stupid for getting with Khandi. Tick was the definition of loyal and Armani literally saved La'Vons life. There was so much drama going on from beginning to end and I loved it. I hope there is going to be a pt 2.
This was a good read. All man ,I hate that happened to Trick, he actually had a good heart when it came to his family. Lavon Jesus lol seemed like he couldn't catch a break. I'm happy for his happy ending.
I would have liked to see Armani and La'Von's love story more developed. I didn't get to see their growth. It's like he dissed her, decided he wanted her and bam the end. Hopefully there's a part two in the making
I appreciate this book having an ending! However I wasn't prepared for what happened to Tricks and Zed. La'Von kept in some mess but it was altogether a great read and a good length
I didn't like that Kandi trick! I was hoping that Lavon and Armani got it together before he has to go through all the b.s. but I know you have to go through the storm before you can see sunshine....I'm really mad that Trick had to die
This guy is a street guy and thinks he needs a bad ass chick, so when he meets a good girl that got her shit together he thinks that is not his type of woman, soon he finds out that is exactly the type of woman he needs
This was a very good read LaVon had to go through so many trails and tribulations to finally she what he was looking for was right in his face so many years so that he let slip away from him but true love found them both in the end
