There isn't much plot. It's about a man in his late 30s who is love with a woman since he was in university and a woman in her late 30s who keeps using him without returning his love. I really can't root for such kind of characters.
I can't help cringing at the misogynistic remarks in the novel. I don't know why male authors can't write a book about single women without attacking them for their life choices.
It's ok compared with his other works. There are many of his works which are better than this. May be I am still too young to really see the beauty of this book. It beautifully depicts the confusion, loneliness and not innocent anymore feelings of young adults in a beautiful and a bit sarcastic way.
