Meet Taylor Montgomery, the beautiful, but disgruntle, Chicago cop. ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT!
Now this is what I'm talking about! A confident alpha male who goes after what he wants and need --this strong and gutsy heroine. They had that 'pow dow' chemistry and sparks flying all over the place! Victor Creed was the charismatic governor of the windy city and Taylor, a honest cop surrounded by CORRUPTION!!!!! Yell, crooked fellow officers not serving or protecting IN BLUE who if she goes against them, she is left in a bind. But Creed is loyal to Taylor yet his job is on the line as well...
I can't wait for more Creed and his brother's story too!
The ending was like no way--- these darn blasted cliffhanger with me side-eying the screen! how I wish authors would tell us in the description before we are all into the story that this IS A CLIFF HANGER!!!!!!!!!

No No No!!!!!
OMG I was sooo prepared to give an awesome review until the end!! I love Phoenix Daniels. She is one of my top favorite interracial romance authors. Creed did not disappoint!! I love how this story incorporate real life issues. Creed is an Alpha male to the core. Taylor is the no nonsense woman that Creed falls for. Although Taylor is an independent woman, I love how she can be submissive to Creed at times. It seems that I have to wait for book two to find out what happens. Also I'm looking forward to a Creed bothers book hopefully maybe?!?!?

I love all the books that this author has written and I have read them all.
This is Victor and Taylor's story. This story was started in the 7 Degrees of Alpha Box-Set and I was absolutely dying to read the rest of the story. I really enjoyed the read and the author left us with a shocking cliffhanger to lead us into book 2 of this story.
Victor has brothers and there could be 2 more potential relationship coming out of this story. Obviously this create a new series. I am looking forward to reading more about the Creed Clan.
I would highly recommend this book.

Omg! What a hot a$$ ride!
Governor Victor Creed.....lawd!! Sexy as sin...alpha to the core, with brothers as hot as he is. Taylor is a Badass police officer who is Victor's match in every way.
I love the connection with the author's other characters; she weaves them together very well.
Typical Phoenix Daniels book...hot guy, sexy woman, Badass situations and intriguing cliffhanger!! Loved every word!

Wow, what can I say..Loved this book. Victor Creed was worth waiting for. This book had the right amount of intrigue, suspense and sex!! Love me some Taylor. She was strong and didn't take crap from anyone. The love between her and Victor was beautiful. Would love to see the brothers stories, Ms. Daniels. Great book! Can't wait to read book 2, to see what Rosemary has been up to and more importantly, why.

Boom!
It was a excellent read! No disappointments and a lot of questions for the next book. Taylor and Victor both strong in their own right but still found love. Love the characters and hoping there will be books about the brothers! I can use one of those Creed boys in my life. I'm sure Kara will be back. Job well done. Bring on the next book!

Amazing!
This was an amazing read, it had suspense,it kept me on the edge of my seat. The storyline was fantastic and the Creed men was to die for. The surprised / shocking ending all I can say is OMG. Hopefully it's not a long wait for the next book. I can see many stories coming from this book. I would recommend this book.

Very Nice!
I can't wait for part2... Suspense, sizzling sex scenes, drama, whodunit... I'm loving Creed and Taylor! Taylor is boss, she making sure she stay independent! However, Victor... Alpha!!!

I loved this book! Victor and Taylor were Fire! And his brothers,Whew! The story was really good and had a few twist and turns,but that ending though.. OMDamn! I can't wait for the next book,Great mixture of mystery,erotica and romance.

Hot sexy and Suspenseful
This is Taylor and Victor's love journey! Strong Female cop meets the governor of Illinois. Victor is strong in body and strong willed! so when these two met and fell in love it was explosive. not to mention someone’s trying to kill Taylor! but of course Victor is not having that. I thoroughly enjoyed his sexy romance!

I don't know why i had put off reading this book for so long and wheb i finally read it, it blew my mind away. Would really recommend this book. In the mean time i'm going on to go on to book 2 and see where did the devil's spur came from😒

What a turn of events!
Taylor Montgomery had a hell fired couple of months, from falling in love with the governor of Illinois, dealing with corrupt cops, falsely being caused of a shooting, being shot, her partner being shot, getting engaged and forced to face a resurrection reality of gigantic proportions. Poor Taylor was just not used to being in the public eye, especially when the governor's ex-paramour was a spin doctor with the press and a rejected love interested of Taylor's was a journalist. It led for a bumpy relationship but Victor and Taylor but they weathered the storm. Now they have the biggest storm to wade through with the resurrection of someone that can wreck all of their plans.
Phoenix wrote a story that was full of drama and suspense. I loved the banter between Victor and his brothers. I can easily see spin off books of the brothers. Their mother Tabatha is a spitfire a well. There is a story to tell about her and Victor Creed, Sr.

This book was so good! I couldn't put it down, from finding out who shot Maria and Taylor to his wife!!!! And the brothers Lord have mercy!!! Can't wait for their stories. Phoenix you got me again and I can't wait for the next part! When I got to the end I cried and was like nooo!! Lol! Y'all need to get this book you won't be disappointed..

The overall storyline was good, but the dialogue was rough. The slang was awful and almost trying to reinforce the fact that Taylor was black. Didn’t like that the mayor didn’t ask her dad before proposing and they found out first from the newspaper. Her sister acted weird too. Ended on a total cliffhanger that made me say WTF.

Omg omg omg! What a masterpiece! Phoenix, you are one hell of a writer to come up with such an amazing story that left me riveted till the end. My thoughts:
Victor, one fine specimen of a man! Whoa! Swoon worthy. I loved Jack from the Beautiful Prey stories, it was nice seeing him in this story. I didn’t think I’d love a character more than Jack but Victor stole my heart in this story. The governor. He better run for President. He’s got my vote!
Taylor, I loved her, she reminded me of Victoria from Beautiful Prey. Strong , independent, a hell of a cop, and just the woman to melt Victor’s heart. The storyline and the plot twists were shockers, didn’t see them coming but added to story.
The brothers. OMG they all need their stories told. Please. This series must go on. I want to know what happens to Luc and Bella and Kenyatta and Lincoln. I imagine those will be epic. Well off to read the second one. Love this series.

A really good book
I had read book three first then went back to read book one and two.
This book was excellent. The sexual tension between Taylor and Victor was bubbling under the surface when they first met.
The love story developed nicely. At first I thought they hooked up too quickly but now I have finished the book, it all worked out nicely.
When together, all Creed brothers are hilarious and Mama Creed takes no nonsense from her sons.
Great story of trust, love, acceptance, betrayal, jealousy and stubbornness.

Loved that we get real life situations tied into this story about police issues and race and really interesting how we are reading how this affects a Black female cop, her falling for the governor of Illinois and how this still remains a sexy romance novel! Love how Taylor is a great cop, loves her job and independence but still submits to her alpha, Creed. I’m excited to read about Belle and Lucas in part 2 and how their story intertwined with Taylor and Governor Creed.

I so enjoyed reading Victor and Taylor's story, and especially the fact that I get to hear what one of my favorite people the Storms and family is up to. Victor remind me of Veronica 's husband so very protective of their women. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoy reading a good love story with lots of steam with action and fun. Wild Reveal
I actually started this book in 7 Degrees of Alpha, and I came to read the rest because I knew there was more. I’m happy I did because that end was both wild
and somewhat not surprising.
I liked the main relationship, though I can see the set up for Creed’s brothers to find their own wives. Idk if I’ll stick around for them, but I’m here for the conclusion of Victor and Taylor’s story.
If you like cliffhangers and soap opera reveals, this is for you.

Good book liked taylor and creed interesting characters with distinct voices in the plot. I wasn't a fan of descriptions of Taylor hair as wild and a mane which made her look like a “feral beast” actual words used *eye roll. I’m not quite sure why describing her as looking like an animal because of her natural black hair would make her seem beautiful or exotic if thats what the author was going for it completely missed the mark. Other than that a decent plot.

Took A Licking!
The ups and downs were making me dizzy. Taylor and Victor couldn’t catch a break. Exploring the “ Blue Code of Silence “was interesting. Dead people that wouldn’t stay dead was a good hook. The missing words and mixing up of names took away from the story as a whole. Still will read the next book, hopefully the editing is up to par!

A game of cat and mouse!
From the very beginning I could feel that something was brewing. Little things continued to escalate. I kept trying to anticipate the next event and figure out all the culprits. Of course, I was so wrong but the book ended with only a partial conclusion to all of the devastation. I am on to read book two to figure out the final players. A good read.

Sista girl Daniels you did the damn thing with this book! Ijus t love alpha males who have a family of men that have the same characteristics as the main alpha! Wow, This is going to be a head turner
Wow, this is just as good as Beautiful Prey, but shorter. This series has 3 stories were Beautiful Prey has 5, a way lot more to read and enjoy. 😉 I will be enjoying theses 3 series, the best part is owning them so you can read them over and over and over.

Interesting story
I loved Victor and Taylor together and hope they a HEA. The cliffhanger at the end was unexpected and I feel it was an unnecessary plot device to continue the story. I read this after Beautiful Prey 4, so I'm hoping things work out for the couple.
