Keep your clothes on
This is the story of Carrie and Gabriel. They are business partners and are attracted to each other. Working in close proximity can bring forth attraction and closeness where people reveal secrets. Playful office flirting becoming real. This story is an example of that. Gabriel confided that he is a dominant. One day while discussing the pros and cons of a training they made a bet on whether or not it would work. If it doesn't work Carrie becomes Gabriel's slave to do as he wishes. Carrie thinks it's absurd, but she consistently thinks about it and how much she might enjoy it.
As anyone can predict, she loses the bet. Throughout the book the reader can see that Gabriel wants more than a sub/dom relationship. He doesn't teach her how to submit to him due to the fact that he is attracted to her naivete. They haven't established a relationship, but Carrie gets mad at the end about something insignificant. Then the story abruptly ends. This leaves the story nowhere to go. I don't see where this book can develop. Also, the dual point of view from paragraph to paragraph was confusing. The author should have made a better distinction between the characters' words and thoughts. There was no character development. I would not recommend this series off the first installment.

What there was of this story was very good. I enjoyed it.
However, I was a bit miffed that it just stopped. It is incomplete. This is, of course, a trick to persuade the reader to buy the next book in "the series." I don't class it as a series, when a story is written and then just chopped into pieces.

Different.
This is something sort of different categories one can give time to. Leave the part unfinished with suspense in end makes it more interesting. Dom-Sub thing went well and Lucia seemed to be well versed in this subject. Enjoyed it and would love to read more of it in next part of series.

The beginning was good, how the middle got there...... so so, the end was rushed and wait... stopped, just stopped. Maybe this is a series, but don't make the first one short and stop midstream. Egads.... I'm not a prude, but there just wasn't enough foreplay to even get me into the naughty, dominant side of things. I think more pillow talk, dirty whispers were needed plus some dirty texting while he was out of town. Just to egg her on while she was trying to get the program up and running. Just to be fair, since she did tease him about his likes before they had struck a deal.

Very dominant
Writing was done well, story just not my style. The story starts out with a unique bet, but when it comes to fulfilling it is where I wasn't so thrilled with the storyline. Story becomes very D/s , which would be okay but the D/s relationship turned a little painful and less pleasurable. The story does end with a very intriguing situation between Gabriel and Carrie and what their next move will be.

Decent enough book. An annoying cliffhanger which is why I gave it three stars instead of 4. If you don't mind cliffhangers mid scene, then have at it. :)

Being submisive
I don't think you can rate this story because it is ony a partial story. A story has a definite beginning and end. This only has a begining and maybe a partial middle, but no ending. Who wants to buy or even read a partial book. Sorry, but this story was a disappointment.

Steamy 🌶️
One thing that I don't get though is , why is there a series since the book is only thirty pages?
I believe that it could easily be a stand alone.
Never the less it was a pleasant read.

I liked it
I liked this first book. It was very interesting. The only thing I didn't like was how it ended. It was kind of crazy. Maybe he had a wife or girlfriend. But if he did, I think that it should've been known at the beginning.

Lucia writes most of her books in quarters, with each having a story but all are very similar. The short stories in each book have the same theme.
