Loved the plots on all of these. Great battles, bloodshed, story telling, etc. The sex scenes were all annoying. Please f--- me. Just do it. I need you to f me now. I mean all the brides sound exactly alike on every sex scene. Desperately begging for it. They were pathetic on the sex parts. Oh, and every single hero used his fingers to make scissoring motions inside the heroine in order to prepare her for his big cock. Whatever. I don't care how prepared you are, a tree trunk sized dong is gonna hurt. Trust my knowledge here. I'm right about this.

Still it's been a long time since I liked a series enough to read seven freaking books. I think I like this author.

This is another win for Ms. Voxley such a gifted author. As I read page by page the fluency of Vi, has me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next accomplishment of our hero and heroine. You will not go wrong buying this book, this series it definitely a MUST READ.
Lana Cormac, is Captain of the Raptor, whose cares about the life of her crew on the ship. They received a message telling them of a story told to many, yet everyone thought it was a myth. A God, Radgen wanted revenge his rage burns dark in the hearts of Brions,  blind to everything else but victory and power. Then Radgen, General Worgen and his ship the Abysmal disappeared. He had to be dead by now, no one lives that long. Rumor had it he was alive looking for his gesha (Fated Mates).
General Corden was not like by many but than they didn't really know that the General
had a secret mission. Because of that secret mission he had to leave his ship the Claw. Silently he boarded the Raptor he hides only to run into his gesha, he thinks. I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

Alien General‘s Beloved by Vi Voxley is the next book in her Alien Generals series. This book’s main characters are Lana and Corden. Lana is the human captain of her own ship. Corden is a General for the Briolina fleet. They meet when Lana’s ship is captured by the demented Brion General Worgen, who all though had died years ago. As part of Worgen’s strategy, he wants to bring Briolina back to what he considers their glory days, where they took what they wanted and there was no diplomacy. He has heard of the Brion generals recently finding their human life mates and credits their success to this mating. He begins capturing ships for that purpose and kills all males leaving the females alive.
Corden has been given a directive from the elders to handle the situation and he boards Lana’s ship. Keeping with the Brion tradition Corden realizes Lana is his gesha (life mate) and will protect her at all cost. Brion generals are the best of the best warriors and are lethal in all types of warfare. He must not only handle Worgen but ensure Lana is safe.
This is another great read by Vi. I love the way Vi‘s females have strong characters and have minds of their own. This allows for interesting activity as the relationships develops along with the danger.

This is my favorite story in the series so far. It has a fabulous storyline that really keeps you guessing and strong characters that make an impression from the very beginning. Lana and Corden are facing an enemy no one expected. There is no reasoning with him. He is intent on destroying anyone in his way,

Corden is a Brion General and he is very confident. He loves a challenge. When he meets Lana during the battle and realizes she is his chosen, he faces his greatest risk. He can't lose her. I really liked him from the beginning. He is very brash but also very loyal and loving to Lana. He has a very violent side but he knows how to use it to get things done. Lana is a captain and want to protect those under her command. She puts herself in a very dangerous position in order to try to save lives. I admired her strength. She struggles with the situation and her intense feelings for Corden but doesn't take long to realize that the feelings she has are very real and not a weakness.

It is a great read and I highly recommend it. You will want to read it from beginning to end and not wait to find out what happens.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

This is the 6th book in this series and I think I like this one the best so far, one of my favorite things about the book that you aren't waiting and waiting and waiting see if they get together. The drama is created by good writing and a creative plot. One thing I did not like is that there are a few very long (to me) passages going on about the Brion history and it just became very tedious to me. However, of all the male characters in the series so far I felt that General Corden was the most well rounded. He is realistic of his short comings as well as his strengths and although it is clear he is an alpha male, the author has made him so much more. As always, the sex is SPICY HOT!!

I read this in a romance bundle via KU that is no longer available and that included books 3, 4, 1, 5 and 6 from the series. Here were my thoughts on the bundle:

I really wanted to give this a 5, really. But there were a lot of little things, and a couple major things, sprinkled throughout that just made me make a star away. My overall I impression in very high, but I think these books suffer when read back-to-back or as a boxed set. The 1st and 5th novels were by far the best-- the characters, backstroke, and plots had more development and depth. The 3 in the middle felt short and flat, bringing nothing truly new to the table I.e., it's a nice read if you are familiar with the characters but I can't imagine they would read well as a stand-alone since nothing really big happens with them. Also, the first 4 books had some really bad editing errors. Only minor errors in the 5th.

***The Cons***
(Please forgive me if I misspell the names as I'm working from memory.) Also, potential SPOILERS.

Deliya's story is unremarkable because we don't know enough about her to care about her and the ending is incredibly perfunctory. Leiya's story is interesting because of the whole "opposites attract" thing, but too much time was devoted to back story such that the connection between them was harder to buy into. Eurinya's story had so much potential but came off as boring because it read like someone else was reporting on what happened to her, rather than experiencing the story through that character's perspective.

There are several phrases, concepts or themes that are so repetitive that they are irritating. I am sure that the reader did most of them so that anyone could read any one book and understand what's going on. However, for serial or boxed set readers it is annoyingly repetitive. It might have been better to include a one-page primer that new readers could view to understand stuff and experienced readers could choose to skip.

If you are offended by crass language, you should stay away from these books. I usually don't mind if appropriate for the context, but I felt the use of some terms actually took something away from a love situation where it is already hard to find the romance.

***The Pros***
The 1st and 5th stories were SO enjoyable that the cons did not matter as much to me. Those 2 stories made the read worthwhile and made them real standouts in this genre. The author's writing is fluid and comprehensive. The concept is creative and interesting. If I had read only these 2 books I would have rated it 5 stars.

On book 6 specifically:
There were no glaring editing errors. The problems of this book are largely related to it being a series- I won't repeat myself in as much detail as my other review but, essentially, readers of the first 5 books will come across many parts that are annoyingly familiar. My only problems with this book were minor and mostly in the form of unanswered questions.

*****SPOILERS*****

Namely, what happened to the Abysmal? What happened to the Raptor's crew; did Lana get to say goodbye to them? Also, the description of Corden was somewhat confusing so I found I couldn't quite mentally picture him. Did he have long hair w/2 braids up front? Short but for 2 braids? Did they frame his face? Did he cut the 2nd one?

Overall the book was fluid, comprehensible and fun. Hence, 4 stars.

This was a wonderful addition to the series! Captain Lana Carmac is on a mission to find an ancient rogue ship under the feared Admiral Worgen, a man of ancient legend who had been presumed dead for many years. Apparently he is rumored to be back and attacking Terran ships. His goal is to find his gesha, a bonded mate that gives a Brion male power and focus. He then plans to attack his home planet and take over, the ultimate goal of returning his violent race back to their original vicious natures. Although still fierce and unbeatable in battle, they have come a long way since Worgen’s time, but he wants things like they used to be.

General Corden is also on scene secretly. He had a special mission from the Elders to terminate renegade Generals who would destroy the progress the Brions have made with other cultures. He joins Lana as they try to take down Worgen who seems all-powerful and his ship indestructible. They also discover that Lana is Corden’s gesha – but being human, she wants free choice and won’t accept him. With the danger and attempts to deal with Worgen’s violence, the plot twists and turns and races ahead! Their courage is amazing, especially in comparison to the rest of the captured fleet who are obviously not warrior types. Will so few be able to overcome this formidable, never defeated enemy?

I highly recommend this wonderful book! The storyline is awesome, the main and supporting characters are very likeable, and the action doesn’t stop! This is definitely a must-read on my list!

It was clever - good characters, good world building and storyline. It just felt a bit long. The heroine was strong and smart. The hero was very... heroic 😂. Overall a good read, but I wouldn’t read it again I don’t think.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Captain Lana Cormac and General Corden. Lana is the captain of the Raptor which is more of a fact finding ship it also does extractions but has no real fire power on it. So when Lana is sent a report talking about the old legend for the Brion from the Galactic Union she had no idea how important this story would be to her own life. In this story there are tow men fighting for one woman one is fighting for the woman one is fighting for power. So when Lana meets two Brion generals she knows that this is going to mean more then she ever thought it would in her life. The sight of Worgen scares even her but to possibly save her ship and all of the people around her she knows she has to work fast to ensure the monster is focused sole on her. The question is can she survive this fight or will not only she die but all those she has sworn to protect?

Corden is jealous of the other generals and all of the amazing battles that they have gone into. It is part of wanting to be best fighter in galaxy or as they say it is the Brion way. However there is more to Corden then even most Brion know about. Corden is given a special mission senctioned by the Brion Elders that almost no one knows about. So when Corden hears that General Worgen is alive he knows that it is time for him to step up and step in. Corden's problem is that he is a person who observes and learns about other and finds the best way to defeat them, but Worgen is and older general who almost all thought was dead. So to learn about this general he has to find the old tellings' about him, and they are missing a lot of the information that he needs. So when Corden gets his first look at Worgen is also when he get his first look at Lana his gesha. Now it not only becomes a matter of stopping the monster but also protecting his gesha with his last breath. The thing is the more this goes on the more Corden wonders does he need to protect his gesha from himself or the monster?

This is an amazing story that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. You will find yourself getting upset with any distractions that come while trying to read this. It is an amazing story that will have you wanting a man that will fight and claim you for himself like these Brion men do. I think that the strength that you find in this female character will have you doing the victory dance. Lana is no shrinking violet where at times there would be many who would do that and be totally justified while doing it. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. This is one of those must read books. I would also recommend the rest of the books in this series though each can be read as a stand alone.

Wow.. It looks like I delved right into the last book without reading the first five. And I have to say, I was impressed when reading the book, I thought it was perhaps the third book in the series. But to know it's the sixth book of the series and I did not once feel that I was lost in this alien world doubly impresses me! Now I have to go back and start from the first book =]]

What I liked about this story was the storyline was engaging and the military strategies sound. I am often put off my stories where the author does a vague run around of the fight scene and then declare the hero the winner. While I know these are ultimately romance genre, it doesn't hurt to have realistic strategies that would help the story flow rather than to jar the reader into a "huh..what??" in the middle of the story.

Anyways, I digress. I love that Lana is a strong woman and that she's a captain of her own fighter ship. I also love that her character stays consistent throughout the book. She doesn't cower from the evil dark General although she is scared out of her wits of him. But then I also love that she's able to lean on Corden for strength without portraying a damsel in distress. If anything, she runs headlong into danger to be a good captain to her crew. Also, she's not cocky or bitchy. She's respectfully stoic and firm, even towards Corden when she didn't like him staking his claim. I absolutely love that about her!

As for Corden, I love that he's quick to grin even when situations are dire. He's not the stoic, serious, socially inept, badass General. But rather, he seems reasonable even when he's testing a recent defector's loyalties. All in all, I love the characters in the story. No bitchiness, no rude, foul mouthed, vile people, no slutty temptress. Just a very skilled author, weaving an awesome story!

ALIEN GENERAL'S BELOVED(Brion Brides #6) by Vi Voxley

They are taken captive by a psycho general, whose on the lookout for all human woman. He wants a mate and thinks Lana could be his one chosen. He now not only has to defeat the crazy general but he also has to keep his chosen one safe.

Will Corden and Lana find away to rid the universe of the mad general. And can Corden manage to keep himself and Lana safe.

I loved this book. This author is truly talented in the art of writing and imagination. This story is so involved it amazes me that all information, no matter how big or how small, is never forgotten or left out. I found the storyline action packed and very entertaining, and it just keeps getting better. Corden and Lana are strong, energetic and spirited characters and I love their relationship. This book just fit in perfectly with the rest of this series. A fantastic read and I highly recommend it!

Vi Voxley’s “Alien General’s Beloved,” is book 6 in her Brion Brides series and it’s my favorite thus far. If you are new to the series, the stories do serve as stand alones, but to get an idea of the whole Brion world, it does help to read all of them. However, if you had to choose one and only one, start with this one.

Up until now, as readers, we were given the history behind the Brion race in small increments appropriate to the story, but given that this story involves a very menacing piece of history, the readers are given the details that make these luscious hunk of men so much fun to read about.

Like her other stories, this one is filled with grand battles, fated mates, growing attractions, and enjoyable characters. Our female lead, Captain Lana Cormac, is a badass herself and her character is pivotal to the story. And General Corden is much more of a thinking man, which made for a great balance against their foil.

Without giving away spoilers, everything about this story had me grinning.

These stories tends to be heavy on the science fiction and battles with the romance/erotica elements cleverly built in. And I think what made me the happiest was the mention that there are 15 generals. So does that mean there are at least nine more stories in this series? Hope so.

Of note, I took a scan of other readers’ comments and there appears to be some confusion as to the amount of detail/history provided in this story, as well as questions about other human mates on other ships. As someone who started with book 1, it makes sense to me; however, there appears to be significant question that well…decide for yourself.

*Of note, I received an ARC with the request for a review after reading it.

A frightened but stubborn woman, a general on a mission to stop a rogue general, and a long thought dead fairy tale comes to life to only destroy.
Lana is a Terran woman and captain of her very own ship. Even through space there are tales of the Brions everywhere. The one that people still claim to see is that of the ship called the Abysmal. But all that changes when a fairy tale comes to life his name is General Worgen and he has taken her over her ship. He is cold and scary. The tales don't lie. But what can she do against a gerneral who thinks she might be his Gesha? She can only pray that she has the strength to stand up the general, get her people home and safe!
General Corden is a General of his own ship called the Claw. He is a Brion warrior, but so much more deadlier. He is only called upon when needed to take a rogue general down. When his chance to find a legend comes to his plate, he literally jumps at the chance. What he didn't expect was to find his Gesha, a strong but stubborn Terran, trying to keep her crew alive at all costs. Will he be able to defeat the long age age old legend Worgen and keep his Gesha safe?

I received this book for an honest review and I have to say WOW! Vi just gets better and better. Each new book brings with it new challenges, action, romance and a fast paced story that somehow, this is the genius of Vi, never seems to rush the characters and the development of their relationship.
In this one we have Lana who is captain of her ship and her soul mission is to keep her shipmates safe from a man, who believes she is his geisha mate. He has killed most of her crew leaving only the females and now he is coming after them.
Enter another Brion warrior, Corden, who also thinks Lana is his geisha mate. What is a girl to do!? Lana is stuck between two Brion generals and has to walk a very fine line between keeping her innocent people alive, dealing with a mad, general thought long dead and Corden the new general who has arrived.
The struggle between Corden, who is the keeper of order for all the generals, and this crazy Brion general, is a battle royal with the heart and safety of Lana on the line Corden has not option but the win and claim his chosen.

I absolutely love this author and her books. This is book 6 in the series and each book can be read right to the end without a cliff-hanger ending. I love that each and every general so far has met his gesha(mate) who is a Terran (human) and they are far from submissive. The Brion are a warrior race but they really are not complete until they meet their gesha (their one). Cordon the Brion General in this book is so dedicated and honorable and he meets Lana Cormac the captain of the Raptor who has problems of her own. Worgen a Brion general supposed to be a myth is very much alive and intent on finding his own gesha by any means available. Which means he is targeting any ships he can find and searching them for his one. He has just targeted Lana ship. But Worgen is not at all like a normal Brion, he has been changed and he is slaughtering innocents. It is up to Cordon to stop him. Such a very entertaining read. Thank you so much to Vi Voxley for the wonderful review copy. Highly Recommend this book.

I have been on the Arc of this series since the beginning and it blows me away. Vi Voxley writing is amazing. She pulls you into the story and you don't resurfaces until your finished, the end.
Lana Cormac is a woman with a mission. As the captain of a scouting vessel for the Galactic Union, the curvy woman has always put her crew first and herself second. But when two men more myth than reality bursts into her life, she needs to step back and wonder whether she's been doing things the wrong way all along. Stuck between two Brion generals,
Corden is a Brion general unlike any other. He is the guardian, the keeper of order for all of the generals, though there are few who know this. Defeat is not a word he recognizes, yet when something out of the darkness of Brion culture comes back to haunt him, even Corden needs to consider the option.
It's a long story, but so wroth reading. You will laugh, cry, be angry, and scared for General's and their brides and all Brions. Fantastic story and series.

I'll let you into a little secret, I love alien romance books. I'll let you into another secret, I have only found a handful of authors who's alien books are any good. A majority of the ones I have read are awful. Vi Voxley’s I am pleased to say really do not fall in that category, her books are awesome!

This is book 6 of the Brion Brides series and while I recommend reading the others purely for how good they are this can easily be read as a standalone without losing any of the story.

Lana is a captain of a human spaceship who sets off to investigate some worrying rumours that have been coming in. During the course of investigating those rumours she runs into a Brion general or two, one of them being Corden.

I won't say any more on the plot as saying anything at all will give things away. What I will say is that it is action packed and, in my opinion at least, the best one so far. I cannot wait for the next instalment of this series even thought the pool of General's is growing smaller!

Please note I was given a copy of this book I exchange for an honest review.

5 /5 stars, exciting read, page turner...

Lana Conrad, commander of her own ship, is being sent out by the intergalactic union to find out why ships are disappearing along with their crews, finds the Brion commander Worgen, who everyone thought was a myth of long ago, destroying anything that gets in his way, while searching for his gesha, his human bride, who all the Brion generals are bonding with, because it makes them more powerful...

well hes hoping shes the one, hes not sure, she loathes him....meanwhile another brion general Corden has been secretly following Worgen because he wants to destroy him. He sees Lana and knows instantly thats she is his gesha to his geron, his fated one, his beloved.

They form a bond while they go about destroying general Worgen, their sex is omg nail biting, How refreshing!
Lots of action with a really good plot, alot of battling and bloody fighting, but works well with the story and the characters!

Corden is my second fav of the generals (no one can replace Diego in my heart) but Lana is definitely my fav heroine so far. Cordon is sexy and intelligent, wrecking havoc on the enemy and hatching plans without hordes of support troops at his back. Lana is brave and resourceful, a force in her own right. I loved the way the bond was handled this time; it made the story so much different than the others, very refreshing. The villain was truly evil and fearsome but a formidable foe, a dark figure from legend. The action and battles and strategizing were all carried out at the same fever pitch as the other novels and the tension was incredible. You have to love the mythos of the Brions. There is also a Palian presence in the book, something I really liked since I admire and enjoy their personalities and culture. I can't wait for the next book!

Good read

I liked this Alien General story. I likd all the Alien General books. I anxiously await every book published. The is a story of General Corden, the general killer (killer of bad Generals), and Lana, Captain Cormac. This has a strong female captain who turns out to be the mate to General Corden who must eliminate an ancient general bent on destruction of his home world so he can war on the Galaxy. It has some interesting battle scenes (little unbelievable, but it's science fiction) and some very spicy erotic love scenes. It's a good read. I got this as an ARC, free copy for an honest review. Read it, loved it. Then I downloaded as kindle unlimited when it was published. Read it again and posted this review. I honestly enjoyed this book and hope you try it.

*ARC received in return for an honest review*
The synopsis is a fairly accurate description of this book. Corden is a sexy Brion general who teams up with beautiful Terran ship captain Lana to take down psychotic general Worgen. It isn't long before Corden realizes Lana is his gesha but Lana isn't sure she can commit herself forever to a man she barely knows on the basis of a "feeling" no matter how attracted she is. Whether Lana accepts him or not, Corden will do anything and everything to keep her safe from Worgen, while also rescuing the prisoners and saving his planet from attack. I loved this fabulous addition to the Brion Brides sci-fi/adventure/romance series. The writing is sharp, the characters are great, and the story line is full of action. I highly recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys sci-fi romance.

I received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Lana Cormac is captain of her own ship, the Raptor. Shortly after receiving a cryptic message from the Galactic Union her ship will be captured by an ancient and evil Brion warrior, General Worgen. General Corgen and his ship, the Claw, may be the only Brion warrior that can destroy General Worgen and take his ship, the Abysmal, back to the Brion home world. What Lana and Corgen aren't prepared for is the fact that they are fated mates. Lana and Corden are engaging, fascinating characters that are determined to protect others from an ancient and evil Brion warrior. Exciting, action packed, suspenseful and sizzling hot sci-fi romance.

This sci-fi story lives up to the rest of Vi Voxley's stories. She has written a great sic-fi suspense, action and romance story. Corden is General in the Briol Military, who is out to assassinate a legend. General Worgen should be long dead by now along with his crew. So how is it that sitings of his ship have been reported.Lana is a Captain of the Raptor and a Terran. Lana's ship has been captured by Worgen. Corden is hiding on Worgen's ship and realizes Lana Is his Gesha. Will she be Corden's downfall when he fights Worgen? Will Lana accept Corden as her other half? Can they capture Worgen's ship and learn his secrets?I give this story 5 stars.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Book 6 in this series – again, it is a standalone story but since I’ve read all of them, my review will read as if I have – is about Lana, a human/Terran ship commander, and the Brion General, Corden. The story has its’ “boogeyman” and it is a hard, long, bloody battle for Corden and Lana to get to their HEA. This world that Ms. Voxley has created has a marital bond (a very poor term on my part!) that is amazing to read about and watch. Great story. If I had one complaint it is that I felt it was a bit too long but that is just my opinion. All the parts of the battle(s) were necessary but I was anxious to read a resolution. Once again, the author has managed to come up with a different “angle” to this story and I recommend.
