This story is erotic horror, which means it contains graphic depictions of sex, violence and “taboo” scenarios that some readers may find disturbing. If you are bothered by such things, do not buy this book.
"The girls jump for joy after kicking the killer's ass in 'Death Proof' {One of my fave movies} This book remind me of the ending! "Girl Power!"
'Not For The Faint of Heart Or Prudish' - Just Saying.
Holy Crap! This book is very dark, dirty, extremely graphic and a twisted take on obsession & sexual fetishes.
Renee Miller, you have one vivid imagination! And it's so awesome to come across a female author (who writes gory horror) But there was one scene I didn't care for but other then that, book was AWESOME!!
• Jonas - one sick sadist. I don't care how beautiful he was, he was sick and very unstable! Ekkkk!
• Anna - one bad-ass little psycho (but not her fault she was made into a monster!) But don't feel to bad for her, she definitely gets her vengeance in the end! And she does it in the most wicked way! Cue: {Evil Laughter} Muahahaha.
Contains: Graphic - Blood Lust, Knife Play, Manipulation, Murder, Strong Bdsm, and Torture. Just putting that out there. One scene with: F/F.
When I say this was an intense crazy dark novella of revenge, I mean wow!!! Annie seems timid yet with some strength and had Jonas not taken his twisted control to another level of unforgiving pain maybe Annie would have never found her true dominant spirit….but Annie did These 80 pages pack one hella punch of dark erotic horror.
"Stop Crying" may be short and sweet, but it packs a punch that's hard to ignore. Renee Miller masterfully weaves together elements of revenge, feminist rage, and sheer unadulterated chaos to create a tale that's nothing short of perfection.
Annie, our protagonist, is a character who's been through the wringer, but Miller doesn't let her remain a victim. Instead, she grants Annie the power to confront her demons head-on, and the result is nothing short of empowering.
Watching Annie exact her revenge on Jonas is a cathartic experience. Jonas, with his despicable actions, deserves every ounce of retribution that comes his way. And Fiona, for her part in exploiting Annie, is equally deserving of condemnation.
It's important to note that "Stop Crying" falls squarely within the horror erotica genre. This means it's not for the faint of heart, with triggers aplenty. If you're considering diving into this narrative, I urge you to do your own research and proceed with caution – after all, I'm not here to hold your hand, and Google is just a click away.
In summary, "Stop Crying" is a must-read for those with brave souls willing to explore the darker corners of human nature. E
Check your trigger warnings. This book messed with my head, but it was an amazing book. And I would read it again. What would you do if you had a relative do unimaginable things to you for years and then you leave. But then you come back and it happens all over again, but this time it is worse.
You leave and a woman helps you, but you turn around and unalive her and the women that live there. And go back and torture the person who did unimaginable things to you.
Go show this amazing author the love and support cause she definitely deserves it. Please be kind and courageous when leaving a review. Don’t tell anyone not to read a book because you don’t like it, just because you don’t doesn’t mean someone else won’t.

This is a great little erotic horror novella with zero good guys and all of the depraved things I love when it comes to reading this genre. Erotic horror is not for everyone, but if you find yourself wanting to give it a whirl, this is a great story to start. It graphic, steamy, and gruesome, and delivers a great "finding yourself" type of story in less than 90 pages.
I loved how Anna when from timid but strong to a baddie! The revenge in this novella was so good too! Jonas deserved everything good he got plus some. There are no trigger warnings in this book! If you think you can handle it sit back and enjoy the ride cause I did.
This book could have had so much potential if only it was longer and there was a story leading up to what happened between her and her stepdad. Could have been a really good read if it was longer. Don’t recommend at all, but is a quick 10 min read at best
Extremely intense, dark, short read! I was immediately intrigued by the claim of erotic horror! And let me tell you I was NOT disappointed!! If that’s what you’re looking for then this is the story for you!
I was unsure of this. Although it had some story line and empowered females I didn't enjoy the simplicity. This could have been expanded and made longer. It has true potential but was cut short
Short but definitely not sweet. Interesting dark horror erotica. I wish it had been a bit longer to flesh out the story a bit more but amazing bit of writing to compact down the story so succinctly.
80 pages of ???? with no real story. I felt like I was reading the transcript for a porno. This would have been better maybe if fleshed out more and given more detail and description but this lacked any substance at all.
Renee Miller routinely packs novel-length material into tightly woven bursts of novella gold. This time, in STOP CRYING, from the opening curtain until its inevitable shocking drop, she pours on the violence and mayhem (and slick dialogue) in what could easily pass as an homage to the early works of Richard Laymon or Edward Lee. But Miller has always had her own voice, her own ideas and her own unique way of telling a complex, overtly sexual and violent tale in a plausible way, almost sickeningly so. As with most of her work, the reader is immersed in the story like a drowning victim seeking a lifesaving foothold but never thrown a life preserver until that moment of imminent death is fully realized. It is only then that Miller allows you that final breath before punching you in the stomach afterward. A quick and fascinating read about control and abuse, where redemption is a relative term.
I took a chance on this one. It said horror and erotica on the label. That’s what I got and plenty of it.
Short review: a brief tale of two messed up people doing messed up things to themselves, each other, and the folks around them.
Longer review: a short tale of ugly, psychological co-dependence. The strong point was the female protagonist and her transition as she picked up the broken bits of her identity and forged a new one. Not a very pleasant identity, but a new one.
The weakest point, however, was the male protagonist/villain. I didn’t find his character convincing, and the author missed some opportunities with him. The plotline itself also took second place to the grotesque scenes.
This is what I’d like to call good ‘beginner’ horror erotica. It’s a twisted revenge tale that does have explicit scenes but doesn’t go into the extreme end of the depravity pool. Pretty decent plot and overall an easy read.
Latest Renee Miller short story. Full of erotica and gore! Keeps you reading til the end just to find out..... Well I can't tell you that. Gotta read to find out. Not for the squeemish.
