I liked this story. I loved how Jada and Kam had each other backs. Now as far as their love lives go it sucks either or them can find the love they are looking for. Brian and Aaron both need to be beat up. I will be reading the next part so I can know what's going on.

Jada

I loved Jada and Kam. They were both very business minded successful ladies looking for the love that was missing from their lives. The only problem is that they kept finding the wrong type of men. Lots of relationship ups and downs. Hopefully things will get better for them in part 2.

Loved The Drama!!

It didn't take long for me to fall in love with these book characters. Jada had a cool vibe about her that I immediately just clung to! Although this author made it clear that she was beautiful and had a huge sense of fashion, she wasn't so flashy that it was annoying and un-relatable. The story began at a great place, allowing me to grow close to her best friends Aaron and Kamina (whose name I am obsessed with by the way) and also introduced the jaw dropping Najee (Star player and Jada's possible love interest) and her a**hole of a boyfriend/ ex, Brian ( Who i couldn't stand from the jump). The story quickly spiraled into chaos that I wasn't ready for, that brought tears to my eyes (I am a bit on sensitive side), as well as belly busting laughter. This is probably the first time I have ever read a book where a pregnant woman got her a** handed to her, twice (I won't say any names, I don't want to ruin it for the others who choose to indulge in this awesome book). I overall enjoyed how Kamina and Jada's relationship seemed so real. I hate when a book makes it seem like women have best friends that they talk to EVERY minute of every hour when in reality that's not always the case. With friendship, comes times when you disagree and can't stand each other and I felt that the author built the perfect chemistry between the two of them. With all the drama going on, the Author did an amazing at demonstrating everyone's feelings appropriately and no one seemed out of place, even those who were reeking havoc n Kada and Kamina's life, who did not belong there. The Drama was so real and so pure that I often couldn't help but giggle at the spats that went on in the book. Especially when Nada hauled off and hit 'ol girl in the face at the club. That was classic. The character who caught me off guard the most, was Aaron, because I thought he was cool as a ceiling fan until i found out about his well kept secret... I was ready to punch him my d*** self. I couldn't believe he could keep something like that from his two friends especially Kamina. I felt so bad when ish hit the fan. Anyways, I could go on for days about this book because it was full of drama and I felt as though I was a distant home girl who wasn't mentioned in this novel who got all the tea after it was over. This was a fantastic read that I most definitely recommend. Full of entertainment, messy drama and try it h, just the way that I like it. The perfect way to start a sequel. The Author, Thai brought it with this series.

I read this book before and for whatever reason my review isn't showing so here we go. This book had me captivated from BEGINNING to END!!!!! I love the dichotomy that both Jada and Kam presented in this story. They exhibited a true friendship and sisterhood bond not commonly found among women today. They gave each other the good, bad, and ugly straight with NO chaser. Every woman deserves to have at least one friend like these women in their lifetime. Here we have two highly ambitious women who are clearly about their business and making sure that they make their mark in Atlanta. On the flipside of things, however, they are going through some seriously BAD issues with the men they have chosen to be a part of their lives. Both Brian and Aaron put a new spin on A.S.N.(I'm going to let you all figure out what that stands for LOL) At any rate they eventually get it together and I think that both Kam and Jada get two winners on their team in the form of Xavier aka X and Na'jee. The hardships they had to endure and encounter through the perilous journey called love prepared them both to take a ride on the everlasting love express(cheesy I know but I'm a true romantic at heart). I appreciated the fact that Ms. Thai showed us men that were clearly about their business and equally wrapped up tied and tangled with the women that they ultimately chose to give their hearts to. Excellent, Excellent, Job!!! Although I read it twice it was a trip worth taking limitless amounts of time because the writing was absolutely SUPERB!!! This book is one that I HIGHLY recommend to others. You won't be disappointed and Ms. Thai definitely will give you an experience that you will walk away from exceedingly excited to experience the rollercoaster ride once again!!!!

Ok read

Jada is a very career driven but her relationship with her on again off again boyfriend Brian clouds her judgement.Kam her best friends tells it like it is,but she can't seem to figure out her relationship with Aaron. Designing basketball star najee house jada flirts with him. but Brian weasels his way back in. Hidden secrets, jealousy, and lies plays a major part of the storyline

Dope read

This was a really good read. I loved Kam and Jada's friendship. I felt bad for both of them at times, because it seemed like their love lives wasn't the way they wished it would be. Aaron was one of my favorite characters, until he pissed me off. Loved me some Najee. Brittany and Raven were nuts, especially Brittany. Don't want to give to much away, but y'all definitely should check it out.

A must Read!!!

It's some crazy people in this story!!! But I love Na'Jee and Jada together. They need to watch out for that Brittany. I think Aaron is a good guy, he just doesn't know how to express himself and I really think he's in love with Kam and Kam in love with.. I kinda want them to get everything together and work it out... But a must read!!

I love this book I can not wait to read part 2 I hope that Najee and Jada hit it off. Brittany a little crazy I know she gonna start some trouble. Brain knew what it was when Raven came in the picture and was stuttering when he saw Jada too funny.

Good Read!

I have enjoyed this book and on too the next one and will leave more detail on the last book in this series, but there was a lot of errors and that slowed down my reading. The errors did not take away from the story that is being told.

Wrong kinda of Love

Jada and Kam seem to pick the wrong guys. Jada should of never gave Brian another chance. Aaron was wrong on how he handled his situation.
