Rate this book
Single parent Vicky has always worked hard for her and her daughter, and has become the first black teacher at a wealthy private school.

But while hard work has reaped many benefits, it's left little time for her love life.

That is, until she meets bachelor Gibson; an infertile billionaire who has always longed for his own complete family.

The two hit it off instantly when Gibson comes to a parent-teacher night as a “stand-in dad” for his best friend’s kid.

And after they exchange numbers, they soon grow a bond which they've both been looking for.

But with outside issues brewing up which could spill into this new family's lives, will Vicky and Gibson be able to overcome the dramas they're about to face?

Find out in this steamy single parent romance penned by Vanessa Brown of BWWM Club.

Nice Read

"This Was Meant To Be" was a nice, short read. I liked the characters Gibson and Vicky. They had an immediate attraction for each other. The Gary and Alicia sidebar took away from the story.

A more mature read

I liked this books as it had the HEA but also took the path of friendship and patience to watch the relationship grow. The hero and the heroine both realized how important they were to each other and took things slowly instead of rushing and that is something that is so important in relationships. Good read !

Nice

A very simple, nice read with a little conflict. The premise of the story was good but lacking in emotion.
