Olivia Lord parents are very unique to this series… Lord of the Bears they called Olivia father… Olivia mother was seer, she had seen in a vision her daughter being with werewolf & try to tell her husband… Of course as you would suspect that didn’t go so well.
As you can imagine when Kane came sniffing around Olivia when she was 19 years old daddy didn’t like it…
Olivia realize to late that Kane was not who she thought he was… 6 month of trying to get away from him , she was able to escape only to find herself transfixed in vision of beautiful snow white wolf, & when that creature shifted into huge sexy human .. She was frozen in time
Alec Martel is the pack enforcer for Bas & is sent to investigate Kane pack, find himself trying to save female forced into mating with the wrong wolf
Kane is Tyrant of his pack & has Kane marked Olivia against her wishes… And to make matters worse Kane his holding Olivia brother as hostage

I believe that I have fallen in love with the Wild Lake area of Michigan. I humbly request for the author to give us the GPS coordinates. I want to go find a wolf of my own, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only reader that feels this way!
In this latest story, heroine Olivia, the daughter of a leading bear shifter in the area, is unhappily living with a pack of wolves and their Alpha, Kane. Kane has even bitten Olivia once, against her will, so that she is tentatively mated to him. But Kane has other nefarious plans in mind. Kane wants to be head Alpha of ALL the wolf packs in the Wild Lake area, overthrowing Bas Lanier (who was the hero wolf shifter in a previous book in this series. The CEO guy? Really super hot? Yeah, you remember him.) Kane knows that his pack alone is going to need help, though. That's why he's got Olivia. He's also taken her brother Jaxson prisoner and has him locked away. He's hoping he can blackmail Olivia and Jaxson's father, Caleb Lord, to rally all the bear shifters to fight along with Kane's pack in the takeover of the wolves.
Olivia has tried several times to run away from Kane, but since she bears his mark, he can sense when she is trying to leave. She has been trying to learn how to control her emotions so he can't sense her. While she is making another run for it, she just reaches the edge of Wild Lake and she encounters a wolf she has never seen before. He is large and totally white. He shifts so he can speak to her. It turns out his name is Alec, and he is the enforcer for Bas's pack. They suspect Kane is up to some devious scheme, and have been watching him. Olivia is slightly frightened by Alec, not knowing if he's friend or foe. After they talk for awhile, Olivia has run out of time for her escape, and must go back. Alec helps her hide her escape attempt by drawing Kane's wolves away from her. He promises to come back for her and to help her.
So that is the setup for the story.
And the whole thing is awesome. Every time I think Kimber White can't top the last one, she does, with so many twists and turns along the way. We meet up again with Pat and Harold, the older folks who provide a safe haven to all the various wolves in the area. But even though characters from previous stories in this series are in here, it would be no problem to read this as a stand-alone. We even learn about “Beer Court”, where wolves who are in a dispute can settle their differences.
This book is another big winner for the series. If you've read the others, you need to read this. If you haven't, read it anyway!

Read each page like a spinster needing to fuel their next deal!
There was a lot more action to this story that drove you from page to page... the romance sections of the novel is just an added bonus! I'm so excited for the ending that I had to reread it just to be sure to savor the ending one more time!

4.5 stars This is an awesome contemporary paranormal romance with both bear and wolf shifters. I liked this book because it keeps you guessing as to the outcome and what an ending! Olivia is the offspring of a human and a werebear. She is just 19 and was carefully romanced by the local alpha wolf, Kane. Neither her father or brother trusted or liked wolves but she was a normal rebelling teenager. Olivia was forcefully marked by the Kane. So she didn't get to choose. The story contains intrigue, suspense, a little pack style violence and is a stand alone book. The author catches you at the beginning by letting you see how Kane threatens Olivia. Alec arrives, he is the enforcer for the main pack alpha sent to verify what Kane is doing. He goes into action and planning after he learns what Kanes doing especially to Olivia. As you read Ms. White developers the story so that you don't want to put it down until the end. I received a free copy of this book solely in exchange for an honest opinion. I've read a few of this authors books in the past and enjoyed them. I'm looking forward to reading more in the future.

I really like this series and this book again got me hooked. I couldn't stop reading.
This story is about Olivia who has been tricked into the pack of Kane. She wants to escape from him, but didn't because he marked her. Just when she thinks she will get away this time Alec steps into the story. And he is hot! As a wolf and a man. He wants to safe her, but there is more.
They don't want to start a pack war.
Next to that Olivia her father is a wearbear and he doesn't like her being involved with wolves at all.
Hot story full of action.
Can't wait to read more in this series and hopefully there will be a series with the werebears in it too, since Olivia her brother is one hot bear

I want to like these so badly... but they just fall a bit flat for me. Not to mention, once again the h is still a teenager. Just like I can't stand if every h in a series are all brunettes, or all red heads, or all virgins, or all bbws- I can't stand if all the female leads are exactly the same age. VARIETY! Give me variety!

I created a goodreads account specifically bc i am in chapter 17 of the story and i've hit my breaking point.
I've read the claimed by the pack series and the books preceding this one and I'm not a huge fan of some implications on the world building but this one is the absolute worst of them all. Alec comes off as a whiny brat who can't fathom why the girl that was kidnapped and traumatised for 6 months might not be hot on getting ANOTHER boy to mark her immediately.
I accepted most of the story but I draw the line at the "beer court" deciding if Kane is evil enough to break their connection after she wasn't allowed to tell her OWN STORY herself and sending her out of the room because it's "pack business"
What exactly is pack business? HER life? HER trauma? Or is it HER freedom?
After the whole thing with Mal's book glossing over the fucked up shit he did in the claimed by the pack series it's not like i expected true introspection from certain characters but this takes the fucking cake. The constant jokes forced in after serious moments are nauseating and the fact she just has to sit there while Alec tells her story is not the whiplash i expected from this book
Also: the amount of times Olivia blames herself for things going wrong without it being disputed is disheartening, genuinely devastating. There's a word for what's happening and it's victim blaming. This is a paranormal romance with a heavy focus on sexual intimacy. That word should not come to my mind when thinking about it.
If i were you, i'd give it a pass. The smut doesn't make up for the utter lack of decorum around all the trauma the main character faces.

Savage Moon is a story of abuse by a tyrannical alpha wolf Kane, who has wrongly claimed Olivia without her permission. He yearns for total control of her, the Wild Lake packs and doesn’t care for pack law. Alec, a member of Bas Lanier’s pack, is sent to investigate Kane. It’s immediately apparent that his fated mate is Olivia. But how will they make it work between them?
Savage Moon is a fast paced, easy read. I enjoyed the characters as usual. 4 stars.

Great read.
I love the character development. The way the author describes the people/shifters in the book makes you feel like you know them and care about them. You want to continue reading just to see what's going to happen next. I highly recommend this book, if you enjoy paranormal romance.

A good read
I read this type of book more for diversion than the romance so a good story is more important to me than the sexual trysts. I was happy to find that this book had just that. It was fast to read taking only a few hours. I think I would recommend this book to readers above the age of 16 for the sexual content.

Amazing
I absolutely love this book as I have all the other books kimber has written it truly is a great book packed with everything hot strong alphas its one of the best shifter books I have read I really would recommend this to anyone well maybe not the younger adult can defo get steamy lol

Shifter romance as it should be! At last a shifter novel with a plot. Enough sex sprinkled in to make it a shifter novel but enough of a plot to hold my attention. Bravo. A full five stars!

The h is mated to evil alpha who has forced a mating mark, but has not mated her. She has been kept captive for 6 months, he is holding her brother to control her. Given their strong mating urges, it didn't make sense, she seemed weak. She meets H, and is drawn to him too. The only way he could save her was to take the pack, kill the evil alpha and save her family. It was good but not as good as others in the series.

Olivia is barely a young woman and is having to deal with a werewolf alpha that won't take no for an answer. Marked against her will, she keeps trying to escape, only to be caught again. One night guided by the full moon she makes another attempt, but is stopped dead in her tracks by a wolf she's never seen before. Only when she sees him in his human form, she becomes instantly drawn to him and the connection is stronger than with the one that has marked her. He tries to help her but she's too afraid of knowing any more about him. Unable to escape, she returns to camp and the mate she hates.

Once entering his pack land she was pushed around, chained and threatened to do harm or death to her father and brother, if she doesn't do what this Alpha wanted. Olivia was a human like her late mother so she couldn't fight them. Than on night she has her chance to escape, while running, trying to control her fear she was almost to the water, when she saw a beautiful white wolf. This is an amazing read, kept my interest from the beginning. I love this series, it's awesome and this book fits in perfectly. The characters are strong, captivating, and have great chemistry. Their are some great secondary characters as well, hope to read about them soon. The storyline was very entertaining, it was full of suspense, action, and romance. This author has a very creative and expressive style of writing, which just draws you in and the attention to detail is spot on. A truly captivating read!

I love this authors stories. Each time I start a new one, I am instantly pulled in from the beginning.
The wolf packs are all connected in one way or another. They make sure that every pack stays on track and doesn't do anything foolish. Kane's pack has taken a werebear's daughter and Kane marked her without consent. Slowly he is becoming a tyrant and controlling his pack among other things. Alec is sent to check up on him but finds more than he was expecting. Olivia wants to escape but her family and now Alec are at risk. Not only are Olivia and Alec mates, but Kane's mark means she is his and for her to leave would mean war. Can they find a way to help her escape before it's too late?
Bringing in the claiming on Olivia from Kane makes this story have so much more at risk and makes you wonder how they can fix it. And bringing in the werebear's causes more complications. Alec and Olivia's chemistry is hot and strong. The struggles are intense and Olivia's knowing what she needs to do for herself and trust in another wolf when she's had reason not to shows her strength. I can't wait to read more of these packs and what wars are to come for them.

This is a story about Olivia who's father and brother are bear shifters, but Olivia can't shift. She is trying unsuccessfully to runaway from Kane who is a wolf shifter. He wants Olivia for himself and will do anything to have her. She meets Alex another wolf shifter when she is trying to excape. She feels a pull towards him despite the fact that Kane has marked her. Olivia is forced to run back to the pack home after meeting Alex as Kane is waking up from drinking too much and can feel where Olivia is because of his mark. Kane has decided to give Olivia one more month to become his mate willingly or he will force her. To up his chances he has captured her brother Jason and is holding him hostage to his terms. Kane is not abiding by the conditions set by her father that Olivia must be his mate by choice not by force. Thank you to Kimber White for the wonderful review copy. Highly Recommend.

Savage Moon: Wolf Shifter Romance (Wild Lake Wolves Book 4) by Kimber White is the first book I have read in this series. With that being said do not let the fact that this is book 4 stop you from reading it. Olivia did not realize that when she left the love of her father and brother to follow Kane; she didn’t realize she was getting herself involved with a guy who had his own personal agenda. Kane is an Alpha pack leader who has bigger and better aspirations than being leader of his pack of 5. He has his plan in place till Alec the enforcer for the ruling of the pack runs into Olivia one night at the lake. The attraction between the two in instant. There is just one problem. Olivia has been marked by Kane and he has no intentions of letting her go. Alec knows Kane is up to something and that is why he is there. A story that I truly enjoyed. I give this story 4 stars. Truly entertaining with a real plot.

Even though Kane marked Olivia against her wishes, there are rules that prevent Alec from claiming Olivia. Even though Kane has broken those rules, Alec knows he must not do anything to start a war between the packs. Olivia and Alec are fantastic characters that find the srength they need to overcome the obstacles that are keeping them apart. This book has exciting action, sizzling hot moments, and suspense, loved it!

Great read ! I couldn't put this one down.
Kane - is pure evil he runs his wolf pack with total dominance and if need be punishment to knock them back into place. He treats his woman Olivia with the same disrespect, keeping her in constant fear ever since he claimed her without consent.
The night Olivia tries to escape, she sneaks out of the cabin easy enough but runs straight into a lone white wolf at the river. Her plan of escape is disturbed as she senses the pack closing in on her.
The stranger offers to keep the pack away from her while she makes her way back to the camp. She has very little choice but to turn back but at what cost.
Who is the white wolf, is he simply a new threat or indeed a white knight ?

Alec and Olivia's story in Savage Moon is terrific. Kimber White has another hit in her Wilde Lake series. This series continues to draw in the audience and make you feel like you are part of the pack. Alec is the enforcer for largest pack in Wilde Lake, Bas' pack. He was sent by Bas to check in on Kane and his pack. The other alphas are worried that Kane is up to something that goes against the Wilde Lake wolves way of life. When he gets there he discovers Olivia. Olivia is the human daughter of Caleb Lord, the leader of the bears in Michigan. He also discovers she isn't there by choice and that she is his fated mate.
Alec and Olivia's story is full of heartbreak, anger, lust, power struggles, hate, betrayal, brute force, violence, love and commitment. Their story will have the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The Wilde Lake Wolves just keep getting better and better.

He has a plan to control the bears and have them do his fighting for him because she is from a bear clan. He wants to take over control of all the Wild Lake wolf packs and land using the bears strength. But his plan is about to meet a snag…in the form of Alec Martel. He is a white wolf Olivia meets while attempting to flee from Kane. The two of them will face a ton of challenges, not the least of which will be to break her bond with Kane and gain her freedom. But there are also other things going on. Some good…some not. But the real question is whether they will be strong enough to overcome the challenges and forge a life for themselves.

The wolves of Wild Lake are back. This happens to be Alec's story and I was not sure what to expect. He is use to being the enforce for the pack and has been satisfied doing this job. He has chosen to ignore his alpha tendencies due to the fact he is just a little lazy and did not want the responsibilities involved with having a pack. The reason he has been able to co-exist with Sebastian is that he travels a lot so they don't fight for dominance.
Enter Olivia who just by her existence alone among the wolves could ignite a great wolf war. Alec will be taxed with trying to keep the peace between the wolves and bears but will he lose his happiness as a result? Stay tuned.
