" I had a dream a few years ago which became the premise of my book. This is my first attempt at writing, and was begun and completed in the first 36 days of the year 2002. When my kid brother was killed in an auto accident I slipped away for a while to process his departure as well as that of my son's accidental death. The time has come for me to honor their Dreams." Dreams can come true. So can nightmares. For anyone at anytime. For people, for countries. Harbingers can be good or bad. So can people and countries.

This is David's first book. It is not a bad book. It is a little fragmented but the writing is decent. In the preface he talks about it being inspired by a dream, which he allows to play out in the book. Several plots. The first is a man on a ranch in Northern New Mexico who, when he can't sleep, goes out for a ride and winds up witnessing a senseless act of violence. Then there is a plot against the government and something strange going on in the Antarctic. I'm just giving enough detail to remind myself about the book in the future.
