Capt. Marakov wakes each day not knowing who he is or what he has done to get the wounds that mark his body. He holds secrets that could bring down the government, if only he could remember. Meanwhile, CIA Analyst Jack Kilbourne just landed in Moscow 30 minutes ago on a routine assignment. Within those few minutes he has been shot, believes he killed a coworker, and is wanted for treason. The next 30 minutes get even more interesting.

Yuri Marakov is a Spetsnaz Capt. Suffering with PTSD, or so Bio-Engineer Dr. Kat believes, until a lab accident reveals latent memories that prove her neural device has allowed him to be turned into an FSB weapon. With Yuri now lucid, they discover Col. Karpov is using Yuri on Putin’s behalf to run a terror campaign to ensure Putin’s re-installation as President. But power hungry Col. Karpov wants to use Yuri to assassinate Putin and the senior leadership in order to kick off a coup. They know they are loose ends that must be eliminated. Their only hope is a wounded, hunted, and disavowed CIA agent, Jack Kilbourne. Their only hope is to hijack the coup, and leverage Putin's fate to save themselves.
