P. Jameson never lets me down. She writes one amazing book after another. My first book to read of hers was the first Dirt Track Dogs book and I have been reading her books ever since. This book has love, laughter (beware some scenes are so funny you may kill over from laughing), fighting, love making....ever emotion you can think off. Have to say that this my favorite book so far. She even throws in some new characters that you are going to LOVE!!! Grab the book and read it...trust me you will not be disappointed!!!!!
Julio “Gash” Kennedy comes from a very mean and ruthless clan of Ally Cats. His past is wicked and brutal and it doesn't want to let him go. Desperate to get away from his ruthless half brother he fakes his death in order to be free of of this shadow clan of shifters. He makes it to Ouachita Mountains where he finds a home where he is loved and treated with respect. He is given the job of running security for the vacation lodge where he and his fellow werecats’ live. Knowing that he will not get by with faking his death he realizes that he has to protect his mate Bailey because the Ally Cats are coming for the both of them and the rest of his clan. Bailey is the one female who haunts his dreams and makes it hard for him to be around her without getting his heart to beating really fast when she’s near.
Gash will do what it takes to keep Bailey safe and his clan too. Bailey was abandoned by her tiger streak when she was young. She is a young, curvy were-tiger. She has worked hard to make it back from starvation and no home. She finds a new clan to call home and makes friends with the rest of the cats in the clan. These are true friends because they love her just the way she is. Living with the werecat's she has been able to heal a lot of her old wounds. Now she has to find a way to get the hard headed and hard-hearted Gash. Gash however, is doing his best to keep her at a distance by being cruel to her because he is trying to protect her from his past, and she doesn't understand why is doing it because his actions tell a whole different story. So Bailey has decided that she isn't giving him up.
As the Ouachita werecats' prepare to fight the Ally Cats and Gash's brother they’ll have to depend on help from a source they did not expect nor did they know this source existed. This has to work if Gash and Bailey are going to have a future.
No Spoilers. You have to read this book or you will regret it.
I have to admit, this isn’t a series I have completed, I have just skipped around in it, so I might have rated this book higher had I known more about the other side characters. It was still a fun and fast paced shifter romance. Another bonus is that it was offered as a kindleunlimited. I'll definitely check out more of the books in this series.
Wow! This book was a wow as to what he did to better his life, to find love, to fight for that love, and to finally be free to love. It’s a in your face reminder that the past dies not siding you. Who you want to be and who you are is up to you. It’s heartbreaking but not sad, if that makes sense. I enjoyed reading this book.
I can't believe that this series just keeps getting better and better ! Gash And Bailey finally ! The clan has to face down the evil of Gash's brother and the Ally Cats. Three beautiful witches come to the aid of the clan. ❤❤❤❤❤
Love Gash and Bailey literally despise Felix a lot of action. Just wanted to hug those Sorcera love them, and the bears. This series just keeps getting better and better ready for the next.
Coming out of the shadows and into the light was Gash and Bailey’s destiny. What a great story. It had humor, sexy times, and intrigue. Thus is a great series. Until next time y’all happy reading.
This book kept my attention as did the entire series. I couldn't wait until the "mates" realized and accepted each other. The bond of love is deep in thos group. Happy reading.
Oh wow....I so loved this. I loved reading Gash and Bai's story! Their story was a bit sad on both ends. You gotta understand why he did what he did. Then again what he did hurt his mate which is what he wanted to avoid. I knew he couldnt stay away. Wasn't gonna take long. :) It was so sweet that he wanted to tell her he loved her all the time but to tell him if she gets tired of it...who didn't awww at that? Mason...oh that boy needs his butt whipped! That mouth on him...I love it and can't wait till we see his mate and I think I know who she is but I'm not sayin! :) Destiny in his head...that was some funny shit there! Those 3 Sorcera were a Godsend to the Ouachita Clan. They were awesome. I can see so many more stories and I know she isn't done with these people. I just hope that Felix can be redeemed. I can kinda see it possibly but hard to tell. Rigor...I sincerely hope he changes too. He's after Annie's brother who is/was a hunter. I am not sure yet about him if he's still hunting or if he's trying to find a way out of it. Regardless Rigor has a right to be pissed but hopefully something good will come out of that situation. The end had me laughing my butt off! Yoga and all of them panting watching their mates. Hehe. Great book...loved it.
This is not a standalone book but honestly I didn't want it to be. I have been a huge fan of this series since dirt track dogs and it was great to just pick up where the last book left off. So much was added into the storyline in this book, We get bailey's story and what a story with plenty of romance and suspense, twists and turns and things are lined up for at least three books I hope will happen. I love the new additions to the gang both the bears and the ladies, They came out of nowhere and I love the spice and the new elements they add to the world of The cats. I Have been waiting to read this story since the last book but now I really want the next one and I can't wait to see what happens to all five of our amazing new arrivals.
This is not my favorite book in the series. I was looking forward to Gash and Bailey's story but I'm not a fan of the fight stuff. I know there needs to be something other than love sometimes and it goes with the story line. Good overall series. Decent book. Just not my favorite.
Gash hated the man he was. So he faked his own death and found a home with Magic and his Ouachita cats. Perfect place to hide at least it was until he found his mate. Now he will do anything to protect her, even if it means staying away from her.
Bailey wants Gash, she cannot figure out why he doesn't want her in return. With the no mating decree out the window she cannot figure out why he is still rejecting her.
Gash's past quickly finds him and he has made a deal with a bunch of dogs to give him time. Time to get his family ready for the fight of their lives and to protect his mate.
Now I have drooled, giggled, down right cacked myself laughing, mourned and maybe even wiped the eyes a little in each of the previous books, Shadow Mated, with all its ups and down both in the book and prior to. Its release takes the crowning glory. The humour and action, some new blending with the old and a bit of sorcery thrown in, this book is up there as a favourite for quite sometime to come. Though I never thought the day would come when those Alpha boys became one of the converted to the joys of Yoga.
Gash left his old clan for multiple reasons, one of which he knew was to protect Bailey. He had never met her in person, but somehow he knew she was his mate. His old clan tried to force him to return to no avail. His new clan had been hurt and that had to stop. His new clan plus several friends and three witches were ready to fight. Read this book to find out what happens next. Enjoy!
This 5th book was a real treat. I enjoy this series alot! I love the whole clan. Gash and Bailey were a great pair. He with his dark past, but coming into the light. Bailey is not as submissive as she thinks, which makes for an interesting interaction.
Each character in the series feels like an old friend. Ms. Jameson has written another most excellent book. I'm waiting impatiently for the next in the series. I can honestly say that I HIGHLY recommend not only this book, but all of P. Jameson's books. You won't be disappointed.
I loved this one. Probably #2 of my favorites for me. I hope Mason gets a story, after all the hard work he did. The bears were adorable! I think they have become a favorite for me and hope they get stories. The Sorcea's were...I liked them but I didn't like them...does that make sense? I think they will be an interesting story overall, but I'm not sure.
Wow, what a ride of emotions with a lot of twists and turns. This series only gets better and better? The characters are strong, powerful, kind, sexy, and they all pull to help one another as family. Hope you write about the sorceras finding their anchors especially, Nastia. Keep them coming because they are awesome.
It begins where the last book left off.. and yes, Gash finally gets his mate. Funny and sexy. Sweet as well. I loved it. And the author has found a way to dramatically increase the clan population here .. so that means more books coming out way! Yeah!
Once again awesome time spent with the Ouachita cats at their lodge. The witches add a little twist to the storyline and I look forward to seeing what takes place with Thames and Theron being there, along with the witches....Felix and his runts got what they deserved, now Gage can stop his fears.
This one had a lot of potential, but Jameson resolved the tension between the two main characters too quickly. I think that’s my issue with this series lately. Jameson brings up a conflict, but resolves it a couple of pages later and seems to go the easy route doing so.
This story took an interesting turn when the three witches are introduced. Hopefully their stories will be told later. They came to help the clan fight against Gash's brother. Gash finally wised up and told Bailey how he felt for her, which was very sweet for such a rough tomcat.
I'm looking forward to the next book. Got to know what happens next with the witches. Don't leave me hanging. Thinned a great series of think we have a few more book. Love it
