Back when I was on my feng shui kick. Actually rearranged some parts of my room and made little mirrors that I hung in the corners of my room to keep away the poison shars. Awesome. This was apparently basically the end of the period that lasted through the end of middle school in which I would go to the young people's room at the Hamilton Township Public Library and read basically all the books in a section, before moving on to the next. This was feng shui obviously, but I remember also specifically doing math puzzles, ghost stories, and ship wrecks. Good times. Wonder why I stopped! and got so much more into fiction. Probably overly bored by my horrible public HS and needed mental retreats.
This was a pretty simple, Westernized version of Feng Shui. I'd recommend this book over Webster's Feng Shui for Beginners: Successful Living by Design because there were more practical tips. No need to read both, as much was repeated here.
A very surface read on feng shui. I would not recommend it until you had a basic understanding of feng shui principles because Webster focuses primarily on what creates bad feng shui. While he does offer remedy/adjustment suggestions, I feel a novice would be overwhelmed with the task of fixing everything "wrong" in his/her home after reading this book.
Read this book a while back. It really just barely scratches the surface of feng shui, without really getting into the wherefore and why of it. More a list than a valuable resource.
I guess I should have expected this too be a little too crunchy for me, but I was hoping there would be some nice organizational techniques in here or something. No dice.
A quick dive into the world of Feng Shui for beginners. Quite straightforward to follow, includes lots of good tips, and has key points reviewed at the end of the chapters. Definitely a keeper on the bookshelf.
