Book 1 Desires Book 2 Touching Angels Desires/ ANGEL Book 3 Desires Secrets Book 4 Embracing Desires Book 5 COMING SOON Dan's Desires/ Dan The Man Book 6 COMING SOON Bailey Book 7 COMING SOON Angel Autobiography/ Life in the fast lane
Desires—a place where fantasies are made flesh and dreams become real. From BDSM to being a dog, Desires can provide it with bells on, if that’s your kink. Stacie Clifford’s only desire is to regain her sexual confidence after her recent escape from an abusive marriage. She joins Desires looking for re-education in the joys of her body. There is only one condition; her contract states emotional attraction between tutor and student is forbidden. Stacie is fine with that; her heart is so battered she has no desire to give it to anyone else. Then she meets her instructor, Dan. Instantly attracted, at first Stacie thinks it will help to make her sexually comfortable with him. But when she realises she is falling in love, she can’t tear herself away, contract or no. Stacie knows that, no matter how kind and caring Dan appears, he’s just doing his job. Can Stacie overcome her own Desires and walk away?
Recently divorced from her abusive husband, Stacie Clifford's curiosity gets the best of her after seeing an ad about a therapy-type sex club called Desires. She decides to investigate and is convinced by Angel the manager, that it would be the best therapy for her. After signing a binding contract of no relationships between employees and clients, the younger and extremely hot Dan McVeigh becomes her tutor. The attraction begins but that dreaded contract stands in her way to finding the ultimate happiness with Dan. Getting closer to finding her confidence is no consolation if she can't be with him.
A sultry and sexy mood is set when the reader enters the world of sex club therapy. An array of methods from simple pleasures of touching and teasing to full erotic encounters open up a buffet of hot and tantalizing. Stacie's story is very emotional and one begins to really understand her. Dan is naturally sexy without even trying. He is a big draw to the club along with the story. The sexual encounters are in wonderful detail but become a dominating factor that almost overwhelm the story. Some situations may shock some of the more sensitive readers. There are also moments when the relationship between Dan and Stacie become repetitive. Still, it’s a unique idea that explores a variety of situations that erotica readers will gobble up. A bit of romance does work its way in and allows for a love story that the reader hoped these characters would find.
Stacie Clifford only desire is to regain her Sexual confidence after her escaping from her abusive marriage and decides to join Desires. Dan is is the tutor and Stacie is instantly attracted to him. Can Stacie over come her feeling and walk away?
Desires is a fantastic read and had raunchy scenes in area. it was fantastically written and you can sense how Stacie felling throughout the book. This is the first book I've read by Holly and wasn't sure what to expect nut oh my god was this absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I would highly this book to be read.
-- An eternity passed in a second. Dan's eyes altered, seeming to grow black as he gazed at her. "I want to make love to you tonight, Stacie. Make love, not have sex. I want to feel you skin against mine, all over."
The emphasis he placed on those final two words was unmistakeable.--
from Desires by Holly J Gill and Nikki Blaise
Desires follows the reawakening of Stacie to the joy and pleasure of sex and by association the rebuilding of her self-confidence after a violent marriage. Dan is there to help her through it all. Stacie signs a contract that states that there should never be any emotional attachment with your tutor.
But love doesn't give a hoot about a contract does it?
I couldn't put the book down. I started reading at around 8:00pm and finished at 3:47am. I loved the wit, I loved the angst, I most definitely loved Stacie's internal conflict. It is this internal conflict that made me want to give Stacie a hug and tell her that everything would be okay. The happiness she felt when she realized that things would be alright was palpable that I was cheering for her (except that I couldn't do a rah rah dance at 3:47 in the morning now, could I?)
Although it's Stacie's POV all the way through, Dan's small gestures and the way he'd go out of his way to be the best tutor Stacie had, the way he looked forlorn when she left, made you see that Dan too was falling for Stacie.
Desires is a sexy, funny, sweet, amazing book which many will find enjoyable. I for one will think of a different thing now when I hear the phrase "willy nilly".
Neither will I look at a geeky IT support person in the same way again. Who knows what treasures lie beneath.......
The rating only allows 5 stars. I'd give this 6 stars.
Where's my fan? I really enjoyed Desires (Book 1) and felt Stacie's pain and anxiety right away, as well as throughout the entire book. She was one strong and determined woman. While working to move beyond a tragic history, Stacie steps outside the box, a good bit, perhaps, to find what she desires in life— sexual confidence and, of course lucky for her, a man—Dan! I can't help but think there is a double meaning behind the name of this book.
I loved Dan as the Hero, and I definitely felt the chemistry between the two of them. No spoilers here. This is a highly charged erotic(a) read. Can't wait to read more of Stacie and Dan's story.
What a delightfully sexy story! It’s not just about a BDSM club, it’s about a young woman, Stacie who wants to find herself. She had been in an abusive relationship and wants to move on with her life. So when she chooses Desires to help, she never anticipated a tutor like Dan! While it’s his job to show her how to love herself, he isn’t allowed to have any type of relationship with a client. But there is just something about these two that makes you think something more may become of them. They definitely have sizzling chemistry! I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more about Desires!
Woohoo!!!!! Escort!!!! Yay!!! I liked this a lot, but then again, I'm extremely biased since I love this mini-genre. This is one of the more traditional escort novels - escort and client fall in love. It is set in England so there are a lot of "British-isms" in the writing, so if that bugs you, steer clear. Lots of steamy scenes, too!
A fantastic start to this series.. The relationship between Stacie and Dan is scorching hot from the get go. After being treated awfully by her husband. Dan has the task of trying to get Stacie self confidence up and get Stacie to learn to love herself both mentally and physically. And opens her eyes to a whole new world of sex.
Where to start? This had a very intriguing storyline. With high emotions and good characters I enjoyed the dynamic. It felt a bit fast but to be fair if I had a hunky guy all over me I’d definitely enjoy it while I could!
Stacie is recently divorced, escaping an abusive marriage, and she’s determined to take back control of her life and to regain her self confidence. She never thought that it would happen at a club called Desires and she never anticipated meeting someone like Dan, her tutor. Stacie is immediately attracted to Dan, and while the chemistry is undeniable between the two, the one condition that Desires has is no emotional attraction/attachment between student and tutor. This story is ridiculously delicious and one I enjoyed immensely. Highly recommend.
Quite a spicy read. I loved the direction Stacie wanted to take her life to find herself again. She needed the confidence to smile again and to like herself. Dan was a perfect gentleman, very caring and protective. Despite the naughty side, he was also a sweetheart. I enjoyed the different characters that became friends and were supportive of Stacie. This was definitely a sensual journey to find confidence and love.
I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
Wow, the heat captured in these words is amazing. Stacey and Dan have an unconventional meeting. Following their relationship from student and mentor through the ups and downs of the feelings that neither of them should have, is an exciting ride. Can the contract stop their feelings from developing Awaiting the next book from the Desires Serries.
A great fast paced read full of a lot of hot and steamy scenes. Dan is a great character and lets be honest everyone needs a tutor like him!
I struggled with Stacie's character a bit and given her background I foumd some of the things she did a bit strange and would have expected the situation with Larry to have triggered her more.
Now Angel is a mystery and its hard to get a read on her, I'm hoping Angel's (and her mum's) background story is brought to life in one of the other books within the series
Wow!!!! One woman’s journey to refind her sexuality leads her to a den of debauchery and the hottest man who gives her everything she desires. This book covers lots of kinks but also vanilla….step into the world of Desires, you won’t be disappointed
Dan, a young man who works at Desires. His job is to help women with their sexuality.
Stacie, just got out of a very toxic marriage with no idea how to move forward. She had an advert tucked away for a place called Desires. Stacie decided to give it a try and see what it was all about. The biggest rule was not to get feeling for the person there to help you. Now if you want to know more about this book you'll have to read it for yourself.
If you like a storyline filled with steamy hot moments then this is the read for you! Stacie is trying to get her confidence back after a failed abusive relationship and where else would she do that but in a sex club! Cue meeting the amazing and patient Dan! I absolutely loved this character but also wanted to shake/shout at him at times too (signs of a good written character!) The sparks were flying when these guys met but after signing a contract it's not plain sailing at all. I struggled with Stacie at times.. she had opinionated views on things considering the place she was in and that all ill say as spoilers are not required 😉 It's not an easy journey but if you like sex (alot of it).. drama.. emotions and reactions then read this book.
When Stacie divorced her abusive husband Graham she stayed on her own for a while. She finds a card in a draw for a club called Desires. After ringing them she attends not sure what to expect. Well it's a sex club and shes introduced to Dan a younger man. He teaches her how to be more confident building her up. The sex is off the scale for her, but there's one rule dont fall for your tutor. A lot happens along the way with ups and downs. With plenty of sex inside, dont read if your a prude or easily offended.
Very arousing, a little emotional, great story line and impressive characters. My reasoning for only four stars being that Stacie's character was a little hard to actually relate to. They way she acted while at Desires in a few situations didn't make me see her as a survivor of abuse as what the readers are to perceive. Now, Dan, I'd love to have a male tutor like him! I loved his character and the chemisty that he and Stacie had together. I'm curious to see how the next book in the series plays out. I'd like to learn more about Angel and her story.
This was a great read. It’s a sexy, page turner, that captures your attention. The sex scenes are amazing and there’s a lot of them in the book. Dan is a great tutor and Stacie couldn’t have found a better lover. I loved the story very much, and it’s a hea. ❤️
Desires is the first book in the new series by the same name, by Holly J Gill and Nickie Blaise. While you could classify Desires as an erotic romance, because it does center (mostly) on a single couples courtship and does provide a satisfactory Happily Ever After. The abundance of sex scenes and their explicitly puts it in more the erotica category in my opinion.
I was a bit confused when I started reading Desires. When Stacie is “filling out her contract” at the club I was under the impression it was for sex therapy. I expected a licensed sex therapist to help her with her sexual confidence and personal growth. However, once past the initial scene it becomes obvious that Desires is a club just for that… Desires. A place where men and women can go to fulfill their sexual desires, whatever they may be. And where the “client” pays for the privilege of having sex with a “tutor”.
I liked Stacie and Dan, and many of the supporting characters, like Chrissy and Bailey. But, I would have liked to have a seen some of story from Dan’s perspective. I really wanted to know what was going on in his head.
I liked Desires as a whole. But, in all honesty the preponderance of sex scenes got to be a bit redundant for me and I skimmed several of them toward the end, waiting to get back to the story. That’s not to say the sex scenes weren’t well written or interesting, just that I was more interested in Dan and Stacie’s story then their sex life. I would give Desires a solid 3 to 3 ½ stars. A good premise, LOTS of hot sex, just a little drawn out, in my opinion.
Desires is the first book in the Desires series by Holly J Gill and Nikki Blaise. This book was very well written. I loved how realistic and ironic the story is. The main characters and the secondary characters were all lifelike and fascinating. Overall, this was a great story. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series.
Stacie Clifford is a strong woman who after an abusive marriage is willing to try to get over her past by using the club Desires to help get her courage to overcome her past. The one condition that Desires does have is no emotional attraction between tutor and student. However as the book does on, I wonder about the real reason for this condition.
Dan is a twenty three year old man working at Desires as a side job to earn extra money. It’s apparent that Dan is attracted to Stacie and wants to help her overcome her fears. However, it seems that Dan is pushing Stacie fast. It makes you wonder what goes on behind the scenes.
The chemistry between Dan and Stacie is blistering. The sex scenes were hot and spicy. I enjoyed seeing Stacie gain confidence with Dan in the bedroom as he explored all different types of sex so she gets a good idea of what turns her on and what doesn’t.
Desires is possibly the sexiest, hottest, most well written book I've ever read! When not lusting over fictional Dan I was trying to much not to hate Stacie with the amazing chemistry she had with him.
I always thought this much sex in a book was boring but not the way these two fantastic ladies write it! Desires has everything you want, hot sweaty sex scenes with a more meaningful story behind it! I absolutely loved it and couldn't put it down even if I'd wanted to (which I didn't).
After years of being tormented and abused by her husband Stacie takes the plunge to join a sex club with the intention of rebuilding her confident in sex as well as unleashing her hidden desires. What she gets in return though is more than she bargained for! Plus the tweaking of one very crucial rule in the contract - not to fall in love with her tutor! We see Stacie transformed into a confident woman and if the sexy Dan doesn't leave you panting to read more then these authors will definitely have you gagging to!
Absolutely amazed me at how much I grew attached to this book in such a short amount of time. I would recommend it to everyone! This is one of those books you must read at least once in your life...
Stacie Clifford has been in a very physical and mentally abusive marriage. Now free from him she is working on becoming her own person. She has tried burying herself at work but to no avail. She decides she wants to get her sexuality back. Hence the Club called Desires. They cater to every whim every fantasy. Contract with a lot of rules number 1 don't fall in love with her her instructor. That will be easy as he is only 23. Well Maybe not so easy.
I really tried to like this book, I did try. It was just so far out there and as damaged as Stacie was supposed to be ya this would have been a lot longer book. The pretense was fantastic. The club it's self was great. Stacie tho ya not believable.
If you like hot books with lots of sex, you'll love Desires by Holly J. Gill. It's well-written, and unlike a lot of erotica, there's a real story unfolding between the sexual encounters. After finally escaping from an abusive marriage, Stacie lacks confidence in herself. She hopes to re-discover who she is by re-awakening her sexuality.
I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 because I would have liked more story and less sex, but that's just me. If you can't get enough sex on the pages, then Desires is definitely the book for you.
1st reading: Decently well written from a grammatical standpoint, though somewhat dull and repetitive. Plot is extremely predictable. Stacie has come from an abusive marriage and is hoping to regain her self-confidence at Desires, a sex club. She's paired with a Dan who's a few years younger than herself. As expected she finds herself falling for her handsome young tutor and can't see why he'd be interested in her. Predictably she goes through the back and forth of wanting to tell him how she feels and chickening out because of a contract that says she can't get emotionally attached. A few times Stacie decides to give up, but she keeps coming back... Until Dan admits openly in a group setting that he doesn't feel anything for his clients. Stacie's heartbreak is ended a week later when they finally confess their feelings for each other. Of course there are more nuances to the story. But what struck me about Stacie is how naive and judgemental she is. She's confronted by all manner of different sexual proclivities at the club, and she's appalled and repulsed by most. Gradually she opens up a bit, but she retains her overall judgmental attitude. She also acts as a horrible tease in a few scenes, when her earlier behavior didn't indicate she'd be like that. One might argue it's growth, but it just feels icky. (Don't get me wrong; a good tease can be very erotic. This wasn't.) Later, near the end of the story, she acts much like a teenager, which is extremely off-putting. All in all I can't figure out why Dan falls in love with her. Will not be reading any more from this author duo
