Would You Risk Everything You've Worked For In Exchange For True Love?
Phoenix Briton was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, bred for political office since day one. During his time as mayor, he has enjoyed considerable success and gained the approval of his city. However, his success has come at the cost of hiding who he truly is for fear of alienating his constituency. And he's not about to give that up, even if it's for a relationship that could fill the emotional hole that has plagued him for as long as he can remember.

Cora-Lynn Carson is a headstrong, deeply independent woman with a head for computers. While she works as a Public Relations expert for her Uncle by day, by night she is developing a revolutionary new technology that will redefine social networking. If anyone is skeptical about compromising what they've worked for in favor of a relationship, it's her. Especially when her prospect is the cocky young mayor of her city. He seems interested in sex and little else, and she's not about to settle for being someone's arm candy.

Ashley Terrence is an up and coming Australian pop music sensation who is touring the US, as wild and free spirited as he is desperately homesick. The sudden nature of his success has thrown him for a loop, and he has spent the better part of a year flailing about, not sure where to expend his energy. But when he meets an impossibly sexy young politician and his gorgeous Public Relations advisor, casual fun turns into so much more as love takes hold and threatens to derail all three of their lives in a way that could make or break them for good.

Enjoy this novel full of heart ache, strong personalities, a dash of blackmail and deceit, and some of the spiciest lovemaking you will ever read.

This is a standalone MMF Bisexual Romance Novel with an HEA ending and no cliffhangers!

Pretty damn hot.
I love MMF so when I read the blurb of book two- I came back to read book one.
I adored Ashley. He was the sweetest, sexiest of the three.
Phoenix was the intense brooding mayor who falls hard for both Ash and Cee Cee.
Uh I didn't like Cee Cee much. She made me want this book was a MM instead of an MMF.
Overall, a hot read- the MMF scenes were super duper hot but I shipped P/A way more than their threesome.
3.75/5 (for some mind blowing menage with hot MM action)

I liked the first and last 20% of this book. Somewhere in that middle it it took a nose dive and I almost gave up. Cee-Cee and her constant giggling was on my last nerve and some of the language used to describe the sex acts had me rolling my eyes. I mean, "dewy petals" and "teasing probe" please! Just, please no! I kept at it bc I really wanted to see what was gonna happen with all the lies and blackmailing and I'm glad I did, bc the last 20% has to be the saving grace of this book.

I received this book from the author for an honest review. This is not my first book from Nicole Stewart and once again she did not disappoint. Cee-Cee is a career driven woman who doesn't believe in love, Phoenix is a small town mayor and Ashley is an open rock star on the rise. When these three meet sparks fly! Cee-Cee is in PR and on the team to get Phoenix re-elected plus she is trying to launch a social media app NowIn and Ashley is on tour but stays in town to see where this attraction will lead. The three have to over come a black mailing father with incriminating photos, a scheming manager, jealous coworker and their own insecurities while having some hot fun! I would of rated this 5 stars but there were times when I was so angry with Cee-Cee and Phoenix 's behavior that I just wanted to throw my kindle against the wall! Job well done Ms. Stewart!

So this was only the 2nd book I've read by this author and while I liked the storyline, I HATED 2 of the 3 main characters. I did fall in love with Ashley, but man I wanted to smack Cee Cee on a regular basis. I think the story had a lot more potential than was realized which is always disappointing. It felt at times that the author just threw things together in an order that didn't work for me. The sex scenes were steamy and I loved that!

Another good read

I'm an advid reader and I prefer to give reviews based on the actual content rather than my personal preferences. With that said if you enjoy MMF definitely try this book as well as quite a few others by this author. Enough back story to understand how the characters personalities came to be without unnecessary extras and the scenes are hot but not unrealistic. I gave only 4-stars because I would have liked the have a little more closure to the story maybe a chapter or two six months or so later just to see where they ended up but don't let that stop you from checking it out you won't be disappointed.

Phoenix Running by Nicole Stewart was a let-down, in the main because it certainly had potential at the start but the characters just didn't feel right. Their was really no reason for them to be together, apart from their sizzling sexual capers! So 3 stars for the voyeuristic pages.

Good story

This book has some inconsistencies within the plot which was at times frustrating. However, this is a really good book. I loved the three characters and how they all interacted was hot. I really would recommend this book

This was a good story, and I did enjoy reading it. However, there were a few things that kept me from loving it. One of the main issues I had was with the characters. Each of the three main characters were completely selfish &/or self absorbed, unwilling to compromise on much of anything when it came to their relationship, one of them refused to accept that they even had a relationship. They had chemistry between them, definite lust, but I honestly couldn't see the love that they claimed to have for each other.

I love Nicole Stewart's books, usually. Although this one was good, I was unable to connect with the characters, which made it impossible for me to love. This is just my opinion, and obviously it is not something that everyone will agree with, which is ok. I believe that this is one of those books that it will be up to the individual as to weather or not it will be for them. If you're interested, please request a sample to see if it something that you can enjoy.

Phoenix Running is a story about three people trying to live their dreams but find out that sometimes you need to open your mind to possibilities you never even considered.

Cee-Cee is a young woman trying to start her own business, finish college, hold down a job and help her sister with her child. She can't imagine ever being in love and committing to someone. Phoenix is the youngest mayor in the history of their town and he is in the process of trying to get reelected. Ashley is a rising star on tour with a plan to be a worldwide music star. The three of them meet when Phoenix takes Cee-Cee to a bar where Ashley is performing. They are instantly attracted to each other but Phoenix is very concerned about how his actions might affect his chances of reelection. In the end, the three of them decide that their possible future together is important and they have to try to make it work.

I liked Ashley because he was comfortable in his own skin and had a solid sense of what he wanted. The character was a little two dimensional but a good character none the less. Cee-Cee was described as strong and independent. At moments I felt that was a proper description but at times I thought she fell flat. Phoenix was uncomfortable with being thought of as bi-sexual because of his past history. I wanted Phoenix to have a big moment of self acceptance but instead he had a series of small moments. Overall, the book didn't move me because the characters never fully connected with me and their relationship didn't either.

The story had a couple of subplots that I thought were a bit silly. Phoenix's father is a bully and the story of Phoenix's relationship with his father went nowhere. Cee-Cee's family just simply accepts that she is involved in a non-traditional relationship. The man running against Phoenix for mayor is a total stereotype. Ashley's manager acted more like a brat than a grown adult trying to help his career.

I think the author has a good writing style. I like the idea of story. I look forward to reading more books from this author. I recommend this story to anyone who likes MMF romance, contemporary romance.

I hadn't read of any of Nicole Stewart and thought I would read her ARC that she so generously gifted me, but once starting Phoenix Searching I realized I needed to read Running first. So I dug into the book and let me tell you! I wasn't sure if I wanted to smack Gina, shake CeeCee, Hug Ashley and just plain out and out kick Phoenix's ass. These 4 had my head spinning. I know women like Gina, out for everything and selfish and honest can't stand them, Yes those I do smack when needed or opportunity arises ;) Then there is Cee Cee what is wrong with her were my thoughts. I couldn't imagine not being able to want to be with either of them, but yet again I know women like her so career oriented that they let life pass them by! Ashley he is amazing, his carefree life, doing what he loves and showing no fear with who knows it. Oh let's not forget Josey although she has issues, she stands up for what she believes, she is one that believes in the HEA and that romance and love are out there for everyone I just loved her especially for being so young!!! Now we are to Phoenix ...grrr that man just down right pissed me off. His arrogance and his demeanor that he had to shelter his personal life and not give anything a chance was beyond my wildest dreams. How could someone so young, in this day and time not understand what many others are and yet here he is and wants to explore but his own fear..... he needed to grow a set and live. He needed to realize that life was a risk within itself.

But Phoenix sort of proved me wrong to a degree, I'm glad he did. I gave him another chance with Phoenix Searching and well that book took off like a roller coaster. Trust me if you like this genre of books you will love this one. Nicole Stewart brought it all in this one and Phoenix Searching....you will love, hate, want to kick ass, and kiss those characters and each has such a great personality and we all know someone like them in real life. Trust me try this one ....You won't be disappointed.

I have to say, I love this author. I love the characters she writes, the depth she gives them and the fact that all the books I've read, so far (as I know I'll read them all, eventually) are of my favourite genre MMF. So how come I never manage to give a full 5 stars? Because I never feel that the relationship between all three is equal! I'm unsure if NS falls in love with the relationship between the men, or if she prefers the thought of the strong connection that she gives the male H's in her books. It's not that she makes the female H a third wheel, Cee Cee in this book would never allow herself to be that, no matter how much she loved her guys. The fact is, AGAIN, one of the male characters, in this book it's Phoenix that appears to be attracted to both Cee Cee and Ashley, but more in love with Ashley. Perhaps that's how Poly relationships work? Well it doesn't work for me! I'm not saying that Pheonix doesn't love Cee Cee, as you are made to feel that he does, he also desires her, that's made plain to see too. But when all three are together it's the way he interacts with Ashley that makes you feel that Cee Cee is 2nd in his heart. His constant reaching for Ashley made me feel that if Cee Cee didn't put herself in there, he'd forget she was there!! God I sound jealous on her behalf lol.

Cee Cee is a strong independent person, as are Ashley and Pheonix. Im not saying anything else about them as I hope whoever reads my review, buys the book, cause it's worth it. You'll find a great read with interesting sub characters, each one could have their own book. Please don't be put off with my rant about unfair equal feelings, I'm sure that's how some relationships work. But if your looking for a book where the woman is the centre of attention between them all, you won't find it in this book.

Title: Phoenix Running
Author: Nicole Stewart
Romance MMF
(Arch for an honest review)
About the authors writing: I love this authors writing style. The situations in which creates appear normal. Even if the story is MMF, the reader can connect to the situations and the characters. The bonding between the reader and the characters is strong and you don’t want to put the book down. I have could easily read this book in one day and still want to pick it up again and reading it over and over.
Overview: Phoenix is a young mayor. He is looking to run again so he hires a PR firm PR-ISM to handle his case and help him get reelected. The firm’s owner Brian gives his niece Cee-Cee aka Cora-Lynn a major part in bringing his social status up by using a new app she is creating. When she corners the hot mayor Phoenix into seeing her app, she was not expecting a date. Phoenix could not control himself once Cee-Cee powers in and wants time with him. He may have to hear about her app, but he was more interested in her. He doesn’t get to date often and she sees him different than others do. Phoenix takes her to dinner, and then to a club. At the club, a hot guy comes and sits with them. Ashly is visiting from Australia promoting his band. Cee-Cee is shocked by him. First he was just a nice guy until she hears him sing. That is something different. Now there is something brewing between them all. Between the new app that Cee-Cee made and there connections, things are changing fast. Even faster when things go public. Will Cee-Cees app help the young mayor? Will she date either of the handsome men? Will she lose her job over her performance? Will the mayor get reelected? So many twists and turns.

I really enjoying the storyline of this book, but the whole time I had a hard time feeling the three-way connection. This type of read is right up my alley of books that I love, yet I felt that Phoenix and Ashley had a way stronger connection than either or both of them did with Cee-Cee...Also, I have no issues with men having a typically feminine name but in a book like this, it got really confusing (probably was just me though).

That being said, I thought it was a well-written book. I fell in love with Ashley's character and wanted to hug him throughout the book. Phoenix was a good character, while most might consider him selfish, I found him to be realistic and determined. Cee-Cee, eh, I was not that much of a fan, her rough outlook on love did not seem to be based-off of anything to really understand it. Cee-Cee's mother made me giggle a lot and made me smile in all of her interactions. I just really wish that I could've connected to this book as a MMF more than the MM with a girl thrown in that I felt it to be..

Side note: That cover? Holy hell, total lip-biter!

Title: Phoenix Running
Author:Nicole Stewart
Genre:MMF Bisexual Romance

Phoenix Running from Nicole Stewart was a great 5 star read.
Romance, 2 Hot Alpha

Nicole has done it again with Phoenix Running.
We meet Cee-Cee, Phoenix and Ashley.
Cee-Cee is set on a one-track mind of her career and promoting her NowIn App to the mayor, she has no time for romance. Phoenix (mayor) has other plans in mind for Cee-Cee.

Phoenix was a flirt, but she was fighting the magic.

Then we meet Ashley a musician, who is immediately taken with Cee-Cee and Phoenix when he see’s them in a club he is performing in. He can feel the mutual attraction.and wants to see what will happen next. He is very forward and goes for what he wants.

This story is quite the emotional rollercoaster and the sex is hot, hot ,hot. We do get to see a HEA but it’s not what you may expect. I highly suggest you 1-Click and get started today on this great read.Thank you Nicole Stewart for another great read.

This is a must read!

This is more than just a simple menage romance story. It's a story about compromise, finding your strength, recognizing your weaknesses and being strong enough to fall in love. Cee-Cee has her sights set on her career, and she is very ambitious in her app development. Phoenix is the Mayer of the community, and Cee-Cee was assigned by the PR firm to be his social media lesion. He is driven to make his community the best possible while maintaining his clean image. Ashley is the rock star, who puts everything out in the open, doesn't hold anything back. As Cee-Cee, Phoenix, and Ashley try to figure out their relationship, and deny to each other what their feelings are, real feelings developed. This story takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, but you also see the strength and growth of friendship develop in this relationship. It has a wonderful HEA, but maybe not in the way you expect it. It's definitely worth reading!

I have read a lot of Nicole Stewart's books and I think this might be my new favorite! Ashley, Cee Cee and Phoenix meet by chance. None of them have been in a threesome type of relationship before. Can it work, will it tear them apart? All of them are very career driven people, not really looking for relationships. Will love come out on top?

This book gave me the feels for these characters. I thought the feelings they all expressed were all very true and very honest feelings. I loved that all of the characters had very supportive family that they could go to about their relationship and others were accepting of it. I thought the characters were well developed and it seemed like a very real type of story. I could see this playing out in real life. I loved the book.

Another enjoyable read by Nicole Stewart

A story of the unlikely people who fall in love with each other. There are secrets and, of course, public opinion over the unlikely relationship plays a huge part of the story, and it was a really enjoyable read. I had read some of the bad reviews and I just don't see eye to eye with them on this one. While the characters had immature moments, that's reality for a 22 year old. It's reality for 42 year olds! I enjoyed the twists in the story, saw a few coming and others caught me by surprise which I love. On to the next book by Nicole Stewart!

loved Ashley's character, he brought a lot of strength to the relationship. Cee-cee caused me some problems but overall i liked what she brought to the relationship but i did not like the character of Phoenix, he was too selfish with his time and his attitude .. even though he had really strong feelings for Ashley he found it too easy to push him to the background and he showed too much jealousy over Ashley's relationship with Cee-cee in a time when he offered so little of himself. apart from my problems with the characters though, i liked the way the story was told from different pov's and it had a lot of varied situations, it was an enjoyable read .

I only thought this book was okay. When I read about MMF, I want to read a believable story that shows that all three are in love with each other, and one relationship does not seem to overpower the other relationships. Unfortunately, in this book, to me it felt that Ashley and Phoenix's relationship overpowered any relationship that Cee Cee had with either man, so that was disappointing. While it was sometimes hot, many times it ended with one or the other guy "tossing her off of them" and then moving on to some other act... like she was just a nuisance. Anyway, it could have been a good story had it not been for me feeling like she was just a third wheel most of the time...

This is now one of my favorite stories from Nicole Stewart!! I was pulled into this wonderful ride from the beginning. Phoenix, Cee Cee and Ashley have such a great emotional connection. Exploring their new feelings while they deal with secrets causes pain and I was wiping tears at times. The three of them all come into this with great strengths and some personal issues to work through to get them to see what they want. Loved this so much!

I liked it but didn't love the book

I enjoyed the idea and the content. It was more of the writting that I didn't care for. It was slow and mundane at times. Other times it was hard to follow which person was supposed to be speaking. It was written in first person for all each character and occasionally when both men were present and the use of pronouns like he or him you never really new which guy it was.

Also Ms. Stewart didn't give clear enough details for a scene. It was not clear who was facing whom or sitting where.

Another hit!!!!!

Nicole Stewart is a master at writing. At the end of the book is a list of her other books and I realized I have read everyone of them. I am a huge fan of her and love the telling of the stories. Her editing and story telling are so transporting. I fall in love with every character and hurt wheel they hurt because they become like friends while your reading. Crazy as it sounds it is true. Thank you so much for another wonderful book.

A decent read but I just wasn't knocked off my feet. You have three people who become friends and subsequently fall for each other and explore a polyamorous relationship. I found the storyline very plausible with very likable characters trying to navigate their budding relationship during the mist of a republican mayoral campaign. And we all know gay or bisexual does not go in the same sentence with republican.

This was my first MMF romance, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and found I really enjoyed this story. I loved all three characters, and although polyamory is not something I have thought about I found I could relate to these characters and really felt for each of them as they struggled with their emotions. I will definitely be looking for more books from this author.

It was a real struggle is o get through this one and I'm being generous with the stars. Devoid of character development and nonexistent editing, the main characters were shallow, petty and completely unlikable. The time line was totally screwed up with complete conversations apparently being removed prior to publishing.

I really enjoyed the books about Derek, et al, so his was a true disappointment and may keep me from reading any of the other works by this author

Nicole's writing keeps getting better and better!! An interesting mix of geek meets politician meets rock star. I love a maturity the character show even in a difficult situation, moving forward in the relationship. Well paced, well developed characters, great read. I have read all of Nicole's books and this is one of my favorites!! Thanks Nicole
