Wow, in this episode I got to find out more about Arsen's past. What a past he has. The family of the girl he fell in love with really did a number on him. After on long walk down memory lane, we are left with yet another cliffhanger. I can hardly wait to see what is going to happen next.

This book revealed a lot about Arsen's past. He is dealing with the memories of how it all started with Anne. It is very disturbing to read but very enlightening. He really wants to put the past behind him so he can have a future with Steele.
I am glad the author provided this look at the past as it really gives you a much deeper understanding of Arsen and what he is dealing with as he tries to transition to a very different kind of relationship with Steele.

An insight to who arsen is
Wow! More reasons to hate Anne! Poor arsen. I mean what all did that crazy woman do to the poor kid he was? This book took me to the place he was in when Anne got her hooks into him. And talk about a shock when he did what he did at the end. Steele's going to freak! Can't wait for #11

I was not fond of this part because the sole focus is on Arsen’s initial relationship with Anne. Her sexual abuse of him is very graphic.

You finally see why he is the way he is. It also leaves you wanting more since it ends on a cliffhanger.

The first 8 books started out a tad slow. #10 has caught my attention. Very riveting. Thoroughly enjoying the series.
