"What I loved most about this sweet tale are the illustrations. Nothing gets me more than bold, bright and happy pictures when it comes to kids. The best ones are like the ones of this book." - Alyssa Lucy the Easter Bunny is about going out and making new friends in unexpected places. Just like Easter bunny tradition, Lucy hands out colorful eggs. Children get to choose their favorite egg designs as they read this book.

Whenever I am sought out, I explode with excitement. That goes for Mr. James Livingood as well. Today's review is Lucy The Easter Bunny and it's absolutely adorable! I wanted to get my Ewoks over to review it with me, because it's too cute to not read with children. I got to share it via Skype, but the video came out hazy. Bummer!
Anyway, the story is about a bunny, Lucy, who belongs to a bear- Ha! Well, Lucy decides she needs more bear friends. So off she goes, meeting other animals, in search of another bear. She greets many other critters on her journey, Does she ever find herself another bear friend? You have to read and find out!
What I loved most about this sweet tale are the illustrations. Nothing gets me more than bold, bright and happy pictures when it comes to kids. The best ones are like the ones of this book. I tried to hunt down the illustrator but found no information on he or she, making me think it could be Mr. Livingood, himself. Pictures, like these, give the little ones something to be excited about.
My Ewoks (Nicole and Nathaniel) loved Lucy the Easter Bunny; you will too. I'm on to the next read! Have a good one.
This is a super cute rhyming children’s book about a bunny named Lucy looking for some bear friends. Instead of finding friends who are bears she finds many other unexpected ones while on her search. I listened to the audio version of this book and it was adorable. The narrator did a great job with the voices of all the different animals. She also kept the flow of the rhyming in the story moving along nicely. I think kids will really like this one. It’s a fun book to listen to. 4 stars.
** I won this book through a Goodreads Giveaway **
The story was one that has been told many times before, and it seemed as though the author tried to rhyme, but many of the sentences were choppy and didn't flow smoothly while reading.
The pictures were very basic. Overall, I was not impressed.
I won a copy of Lucy: The Easter Bunny through Goodreads and have read it twice. The cover is cute, the moral of the story is a good one and I think children would enjoy reading or having this read to them. However, I did think that some of the rhyming was not the best but I applaud the author on creating a cute childrens' book.
