Inside every believer in Jesus there is a hunger to draw close to God. There is only one way to accomplish this heavenly desire within to read the Word of God and declare it at all times. When we hear and speak the Word of God, our faith is renewed and we discover afresh his wonderful promises for each of us. In this book, you will find 365 explosive scriptures waiting to come alive in your life. There are also dynamic faith-building declarations to go along with each scripture—a different scripture for every day—a different subject for every month, which include the Word, faith, the name of Jesus, blessings, love, freedom, the Holy Spirit, praise and thanksgiving, salvation, and more. Your faith will come alive as you declare the Word of God and experience its power and God’s presence in your life.
"Daily Declarations of Faith for Women" is a devotional that is filled with Bible verses, prayers and positive declarations/affirmations. Each month covers a specific topic:
January: The Word February: Faith March: Abundance April: The Name of Jesus May: Blessings June: Love July: Freedom from Fear August: Strength September: Healing October: The Holy Spirit November: Praise and Thanksgiving December: Salvation
A reading follows each topic, making reference to scripture. I like how these sections serve as preparation for every month. Each day has its own topic, which is sort of like a subtopic. There is a verse or verses to read. Finally there is a prayer to pray. The prayers contain declarations, and are filled with praises and thanksgiving. They mention God's omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence. The prayers also give reminders of who we are in Christ, and what we can do through Christ who strengthens us. I like how the prayers make reference to the Word of God, because it is important to implement the Word of God in our prayers. The very last page has a prayer called "Your Salvation Prayer." It is really special, because it is a prayer specifically for anyone who wants to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. I understand this being a nice way to close the devotional; however, I thought that a prayer that holds so much importance could have been placed somewhere within the earlier pages of the devotional.
My overall rating for this devotional is 4 out of 5 stars, and I would recommend it.
