Cool story and magic system. Read like an anime which was annoying at times. Is it normal for people to get nose bleeds when they are attracted to someone or turned on? Because that has never happened to me before, but happened to the MC multiple times. Thought that was a little weird.

Chinese Fantasy with great worldbuilding and magic system but kiddish storytelling.
The review is for all 5 volumes comprising 848 chapters, this is a Chinese Wen Novel, fan-translated to English
I enjoyed the initial chapters, they were fresh, a new world with its unique magic system along with a clever protagonist and his many shenanigans are great. I would give them a 5/5
But as the storytelling kept moving and after a few hundred chapters the shounen-heavy story felt a bit of a drag, the protagonist has too many life-saving backups. Also, I am never a fan of harem, adding a triplet and beast into it makes it even more weird. 3/5

I really tried to get into this story but I finally ditched it. It has a cool, if convoluted, magic system. The world building is non-existent beyond, Japanesish. The big issue is the MC. He's a pushover. He's weak and timid. He's simpering and cowering. He's pathetic. He's constantly getting beat up as he cowers in fear. Beat up by his father. Beat up by him fiance. Beat up but his girl friend. He doesn't stand up for himself at any time and it's revolting. He gets betrayed and forgives instantly. He is the worst.

Story is good. But I felt that the MC is bit retard as he disregarded the chance to become a god. At the end he will become a old fool and die like a mortal. I hate it when MC spends their life as a mortal because of some bull**** philosophy. but I love this novel xD

Stupid comedy where all girls are bombs of emotions that almost kill the mc for his stupidity. Mc is also 13 so I wouldn’t have been interested if it didn’t have such high reviews.

Chinese web novel - I didn't like the mc in the first chapters - but he gets better later on. Clever progression system and an instersting fantasy word. For sure not the best book I read but nice if you want to read something different.

I didn't even leave my bed for weeks (and if I did, it was all a blur of "literary-zombie mode") when I was reading it..
Once you get passed the awkward/weird "involuntary rape" thing (I do NOT approve of the author's choice in having that in there, but alas,) it is a really great XianXia with a really interesting magic system, over-powered protagonist, and really cute female characters (though I do warn you, it is kind of a Harem; mild spoiler, the protagonist succeeds in a harem "hat trick" of untold proportions..)
