I adore Jax as he is definitely an honorable man, Sasha has sass but is also courageous, they are perfectly matched together. I absolutely loved this story, a most entertaining read. In the world of shifter romance, the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

Well Ms. V did it again, in fact I don't think this lady ever has a dud, she's always right on the money. Of course in this book she has a little twist. It always amazes me the imagination it take to create these characters and bring them to life, plotting out there every move. Sasha Rivard is an assassin, in fact they've programed her from an you age to be a killer. A WereBear killer though this was her first assignment she has never killed anyone. Her partner Rand had but he paid the ultimate price for his mistake going after Courtney, Jared mate. If you think being caught by Courtney and Jared, who was Jax's twin, an then being chained up was scary, than Jax picking her up and taking her to there Alpha was even scarier. It even gets worse when Jax tells Sasha things that just couldn't be true. Jax Vachon is a WereBear who also plays the saxophone can't believe what was going on. The hunters were here and they almost killed his brother Jared and his mate. When Jared let Jax know they has a prisoner chained up in there home, Jax knew they would be taking care of her soon. But taking one look at her Jax scooped her up and took off to his SUV.
OMG!!!! His mate was a hunter who try to kill his brother. Could this day get any worse?
Oh yes it could get worse, but your going to have to read it to find out. This is another jaw dropping page turner must read book / series.

I received this for a honest review. You know in the pervious book we got to fall in love with Jax’s brother Jared and now in this book we got to fall in love with Jax. He was truly a sweet heart.
As we know in the previous story Sasha was trying to kill Courtney and Jared. Her plan failed and now Sasha is in danger. Jay has plan protecting his mate. He will not let the warrior’s get her.
Sasha was taught to hate shifters. They were monsters. She was taught when shifters were in animal form they were dangerous and could not control their animal. The fact that Sasha hated shifters so much had to cut Jax pretty deep. For fate to give you a mate that hates your kind will be challenging.
There are plenty of obstacles that Sasha and Courtney must face. Courtney will need to make up her mind to either follow her heart of let hatred rule her life. Can love win above all else?

WOW I loved the book. We follow up where we left off with Jax trying to save his mate. Will she stay or will she run? Will she open her eyes and see what is right there or keep the blinders that the Eradicators taught her? Will she try to save her mate or get him killed? What will happen next?

This was probably the best book of the series; the characters met and interacted in the previous book. It had the most and best banter out of the series. It wasn't bad, but each book was basically just a novella so you don't really have time to develop an attachment to the characters. Plus the whole true mates things means insta-love which, while I know you have to suspend disbelief since it's were-bears, is still ridiculous and unreasonable. I will probably not read another series by this author.

First I am not a shapeshifter reader... the story was interesting for a novella. I also have not read the first 6 titles, but I need a book with a "J" in the title, end of the year reading challenges.

I love love this series! I absolutely love shifters but Bears are definitely my favorite! I will never get tired of reading V. Vaughn books, I'm so enjoying reading her books I can't wait until I read whatever she writes next. I don't know about anyone else's but to me her writing is Spectacular. What I love most about her books and series is the camaraderie between the characters and It makes me smilie while I'm reading. This storyline is compelling and a exciting page turner that you can't help but to keep reading until you finish the book. The characters are fantastic, lovable, humorous, exciting, captivating, engaging and written very well, I could keep going but I would hate for you to read this and think what was she reading to give this review. But actually I got to read this marvelous book. Even her secondary characters are wonderful and they give the story just the edge it needs. The dialogue is wow, sensual, witty and fuming, you will get it when you read my teaser. V. Vaughn is so creative, imaginative and she knows how to give her readers a strong heroine and a protective hero with some amazing romance and they never disappoint. All I can say is that no matter what I read by V. Vaughn I always enjoy.

“I was caught trying to kill the female who murdered my partner, and she and her boyfriend decided to hold me as a prisoner instead of murdering me. When Jax came home and discovered what happened, he told them he was taking me because I’m his true mate. My insides tremble at the thought of what he might want me for, and I hate myself for being so weak.
The metal chain of my wrist cuff jangles as I adjust my position again. I’m attached to the panic handle on the roof by a leather restraint that is lined with a soft furry material, and I can’t seem to get comfortable. It’s an odd choice for handcuffs. I really enjoying reading this series. But of coarse I'm a hopeless romantic and this book will give you all the romance you want and so much more. Now if you don't like paranormal romance be warn this is a lovely HEA. But if you don't like this kind of genre then this won't be the book for you. But I think you will enjoy every word and agree with me that it's worth it. This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading the next book in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It needs to be on your must read list.

Jax finally finds his fated mate…tied up in the kitchen? Sasha is a hunter, on a mission to take out Courtney and Jared; fortunately, she cannot take the kill shot and ends up tied to a chair waiting for the warriors to arrive. When Jax gets home and realizes Sasha is his fated mate he steals her away to Tori hoping to find a way to save her. Tori gives her a choice, embrace her werebear half and join those she thought the enemy, or be killed. Jax tries to bring her around and seems to be succeeding but she is still trying to escape and when she manages to call for help she realizes to late that Jax will be killed. Determined to give her life if necessary to save Jax, she takes a bullet met for him now the only way to save her is to bite and change her. Jax has to have had the most interesting story (and mate) to date and it was a thrill to read it! Sasha working through feelings of hate to love and all the confusion in-between made for an exceptionally interesting character, one I hope we get to revisit in future tales!

I have read all the books in the Rocked by the Bear series and this is my favorite.
Sasha and Jax should be enemies but they are actually fated mates. Sasha is saved from death by Jax but has to learn to accept that the werebears she has been trained to hate and kill are not what she thought. Jax knows immediately that she is his mate and wants to save her life and give them a chance together. She will have to learn to love instead of hate in order for them to have a life together.
It is a great read. Sasha is very conflicted. She has been part of a cult for most of her life and now she is getting to know these werebears and realize they are not hateful creatures that want to harm humans. Jax is very much an alpha in his strength. He is willing to take great risks to keep her alive. I really enjoyed this book the most of all of the books in the series because of that interesting conflict.

After a failed attempt at killing the werebears, Sasah Rivard is now being held at the mercy of Jax Vachon. Sasha was raised to be a hunter, it’s the only thing she knows, but after her mentor was killed Sasha tried to take on her first assignment alone and failed. Jax knows that Sasha his true mate, but convincing her that she is what she hates the most will be the difficult part. Heated kisses and smoking hot sex will Sasha be able to take the final step and change for love and true mates? Or will her hunter ways lead her astray? Jax is the perfect conclusion the Rocked by the Bear Series. I’ve come to grow and love these amazing characters. V Vaughn has an amazing gift of making you fall in love with her characters! This is a must read and I cannot wait for more from this amazing author.

the last in this series! at the end of the previous book we saw Jax reacting to the woman his brother and his new mate held captive. one of the hunters that are after them, killing any shifter they can find on sight.
now Jax happens to find his mate as being one of the people that are hunting his kind. his job now is convince her they're not bad, that they just want to live in peace and be left alone.

Sasha is a member of the hunters group called the ERADICATORS. Her mission was to kill Jared and Courtney. However, she was captured instead by them and that is where she meets Jax, Jared’s brother. Jax recognizes her as his true mate and takes her to Tori to try to convince her to accept her bear side. Sasha really doesn’t believe she is part bear but plays along so she can plan an escape. What she doesn’t count on is falling for Jax or developing feelings. When she warns him that he is about to be killed, he lets her go. But things don’t work out quite the way she planned. When the two men sent to bring her home tell her they have to complete the mission, she knows she has to stop it…and she does…in a most lethal way for her. When she consents to Jax turning her to save her life, she wakens to a new world for her. But is it really enough for her to accept everything??

I couldn't wait to read what would happen to Jax, especially with how 'Jared' finished, although I also didn't want to start reading 'Jax' because it is the final book in the series. After finding out his mate is someone his clan usually kills on sight, Jax is driving to his alpha's territory, his companian is his greatest treasure, but also on of a were-bears biggest foes. Trying to convince her that the propaganda she's learnt for most of her life is false during the road trip...
'Jax: Mating Fever' is book 6 & the final book in V. Vaughn's series "Rocked by the Bear", I highly advise you to read this series in order. Loved this journey, Jax & Sasha have an interesting time together whilst they figure everything out, I really wish there was more of this series.

Excellent addition to the series! Sasha has been trained since birth to hunt down and destroy werebears, but on her first assignment she is captured by those she hunts. Jax has been looking for his mate for years, longing for the one woman who will make him whole and love him forever. He never expects her to end up being someone who has vowed to kill him and all like him. In order to save her, he has to run away with her, but will they ever be able to get over her being a hunter and him being the werebear prey? Can he convince her that her whole view of werebears is wrong and that they are not all feral beasts out to kill humans? Or will she betray him and all werebears? Received the book for an honest review.. Jake Danniken was tasked by his brother, Erik, to hunt down a bunch of rogue wolf shifter bikers who are causing trouble near Jamesburg. While tracking these rogues, Jake notices that they have a girl surrounded and they aren't playing nice. Mali Alexandra finds herself the centre of attention when a biker gang makes her their new chew toy. Even though the fight is onesided, Jake has surprisingly survived. Mali didn't fair as well. Jake is drawn to Mali and finds that he goes against shifter law to save her. Together the unlikely pair try to make sense of what is going on around them and what is happening between them. Great addition to the Jamesburg Shifter series. Once again Lynn weaves her magic to both entertain and awe her readers.

Oh boy! This was so good. Jax is a werebear and Sasha is an eradicator - one of many determined to kill off werebear. They also happen to be true mates. Jax tries to show Sasha werebear aren't the monsters she believes them to be while Sasha determines how to kill him. This book quickly brings into the story and doesn't let go until the last page is turned. It will definitely leave you wanting more. While this can be read as a stand-alone, I think it would be more enjoyable if you Jared first, some of those events carry over into this book. I'm looking forward to what comes next!

Jax is Jared's twin and when he learns that his brother and his mate was almost assassinated he wants revenge. Instead he finds his true mate. Sasha was taught at an early age to hate all werebears and is trained as an assassin. When she fails her assignment she is taken prisoner where she knows she will be killed instead she is told that she is part werebear and she is the true mate to the brother of her intended target. Jax knows what he wants he just has to get Sasha to agree. This is a fast paced story that has a HEA. This is the last book in this particular series, but we will hear from this characters again in future series.

Sasha rivard is an assassin and werebears are who she has been trained to kill. Jax Vachon is a werebear looking for his mate but he never thought he would find her handcuffed to a chair in his livingroom. That was so not how he planned to meet her or that dhe would be a hunter out to kill his family.
Great action and storyline. I love the characters v. Vaughn created. Lucky for Jax the mate bond takes off fast or he would have been in trouble. The bad guys in the story adds awesome drama!

Jax is book 6 in the Rocked by the Bear, Mating Fever series and is a short but very good 58 page book.Sasha Rivard is part of the Eradicators that hunt and kill the shifters and she has been captured, her release comes from an unexpected source. Jax Vachon a were-bear shifter realizes Sasha is his mate,he must now keep her safe but also get her to realize she has been lied to about Shifters all these years. What happens? Absolutely wonderful!! Love this series!l A definite must read! Very well written with characters that draw you in. I couldn't put it down! An assassin captured but saved win its found that she's Jax's mate. He takes her to safety until he can convince her that not all werebears are bad. Can she overcome years of conditioning or will she betray them all? I can't wait to see what comes next in the series!

Sasha doesn't want to be captured now but she definitely doesn't want to be killed either like her partner. But when all she meets is kindness and compassion from the evil feral bears. She realizes there maybe more to what she has been brainwashed with.
Jax is mad at his fated but loves her all the same the moment he scented her. He wants to keep her safe. So taking her to the Alpha should be safe right?
