This story contains content which is intended for readers over the age of 18. Rachel made it through Christmas and was back at school without either family finding out about her relationship with Brad. It would be three months before she could see him again. She had no idea how she was going to wait that long. Brad continued to call and text her each day. They couldn't wait to see each other again. When something happened that would change her life forever, how did Rachel handle it? She knew that pushing Brad away was the right thing to do for everyone. It was time for her to think about the future and make sure that he followed his dreams. Rachel knew it wasn't going to go over well that she wasn't going home for spring break. After a long day of work, Rachel answered the door to an unexpected visitor. How did her best friend react when she found out Rachel's big secret? Could Rachel get to Brad before his sister ruined everything?
Rachel learns that she’s pregnant with Brad’s child. After much thought she decides to pull away from Brad as she doesn’t want to keep him from the bright future he has ahead of him. As she shuts out Brad, Karen, her mom, and Brad & Karen’s parents she becomes very lonely. She gets a job to save up to be able to provide for her child. She lets both Brad and Karen know she won’t be coming home for Spring break. She’s in for the shock of her life when she opens the door to find Karen has come to check on her. Karen looks down and notices that Rachel is pregnant. Rachel makes Karen promise not to tell anyone. Karen informs her that she has one week before Karen spills the beans. Rachel knows Karen tells Brad everything so she decides to hop on a plane to see him immediately. Good thing she did. She’s shocked when Brad is excited to learn he’s going to be a father.
As we know from Part 1 and 2, Rachael has loved Brad since their first kiss when she was 13. It was never mentioned again so Rachael assumed it meant nothing to Brad. She now knows why he had to stay away from her--she was too young and his sister's BFF. Brad has always loved Rachael, but became an ass in high school when he became a football star. When he left for college he thought he could forget her by being a player on and off the field, but it never happened.
When they first made love, each thought it might be the only time. But their love continued to grow. They made love numerous times during Christmas and NewYear's without anyone knowing. Brad is an unbelievably wonderful lover. The kind all women dream of having. He always makes sure Rachael's pleasure is his top priority. He totally leaves Rachael sated and happy. But more importantly, he loves her beyond measure. I won't describe their burning hot love making sessions. I don't want my iPad to burn up!
Then something happens that will change both their lives forever. She doesn't know what to do. She still has the fear that he might abandon her someday, so she decides to push him away, thinking that she will hurt less if she breaks now. She thinks she is doing what is in Brad's best interest. She is willing to destroy her own life forever to allow him to have all his dreams of pro football fame to come to pass. She stops going home and mostly abandons communication with Brad. Brad thinks she no longer loves him or has found someone.
She gets a job to save money to support herself. She comes home from work one day, and hears a knock on her door. She never expects to open her door to Karen, her BFF. Karen quickly finds out her secret. She is very upset that Rachael did not share it with her. They have always shared everything--well until she and Brad got together!
Rachael makes Karen swear not to tell anyone. Karen gives her a week to tell everyone. Rachael knows Karen will tell Brad, despite her promise. Will Rachael get to Brad before Karen spoils everything? How will Brad react to Rachael's secret? Will Brad freak out? Will this be the end of their relationship? Will Brad allow Rachael to move away and ruin both their lives?
I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. I think this is one of Sharon's best serials, under either of Sharon's pen names. It is better suited for her Sharon profile.
This is part 3 in this series. You have to read them in order to understand what exactly is going on with this story.
As we know from books 1 & 2 Rachel has had a crush on Brad since childhood. When they reconnect several years later they get involved but keep their relationship a secret from their family's, who live across the street from one another and are very close.
After school breaks they are both back at their colleges.
Book 2 hinted at Rachel having a possible secret. I could not stand the suspense of that! I wanted to know if I was right in what I thought it was!
Rachel's secret is revealed. She starts pushing Brad away as she doesn't want to affect his future. He's a big football jock and has a very bright future in the works.
She also closing her self off from her best friend, Karen, Brad's sister and her own Mom. Her Mom is dating again and is busy in distracted in her personal life to realize that Rachel is just not herself.
Rachel is making decision/plans for her future all by herself. I felt so sad for her.
She's surprised to open the door of her apartment one day and find Karen standing. She flew in like a true best friend as she knew something was wrong. It didn't take her long to find out the secret and ends her visit by telling Rachel she has one week to tell Brad and she is going to tell him.
Rachel decides this is not something to be told to Brad over the phone and flies in to talk to Brad face to face.
When she arrives at Brad's apartment the door is opened by a young lady and Rachel thinks that Brad has gotten tired of her pushing him away and moves on.
Brad just shows what a great gentlemen he is and gives her all the support she needs.
This story gets better and better. I felt all kinds of emotions while reading this book....irritated when Rachel is pushing everyone away, felt the loneliness that she felt, the sadness, the joy when Karen shows up, the anxiety with her talking to Brad and then joy again when Brad comes through for her. Proving he is someone she can count on
***I was given an ARC copy of this book for a true and honest review***
In this installment we learn what I'm sure we all had already guessed and that is that Rachel is pregnant with Brad's child. It took a visit to the campus clinic for Rachel to find out the reason behind her unrelenting tiredness and nausea. It was time for reality to turn her life upside down. So many decisions to be made that would effect not only her life but the lives of others. Rachel meets the challenge head on for herself as well as the baby. She feels that the decisions she has made are best for Brad as well. Brad however will have something to say about that though.
After her best friend Karen pays her a surprise visit at school Rachel knows that her time is up for letting everyone know about her pregnancy. She begs for Karen to keep this a secret until she's ready to tell everyone but she knows that Karen will probably tell Brad something very soon. This new development changes some of her decisions and timetable. She knows that she needs to talk to Brad right away. After seeing him and explaining things Brad lets her know that he will be shouldering his share of the responsibility and will stand by her through the pregnancy. He also tells her that he will be very involved in his child's life. Brad decides that they will drive home in the morning to break the news to his family and to Rachel's mom.
I can't wait to read the fourth and final chapter of this story to see what decisions will be made. Will there be happiness and joy or anger and condemnation for Rachel and Brad? Will the families be willing and joyful supporters of the two or will Brad and Rachel find themselves alone in this situation? I'm sure you are just as anxious as I am to read the ending of Brad and Rachel's story.
I was given a copy of this book as an advance copy from the author.
we join Rachel and Bard again on their journey of love. Rachel is back at school and is still feeling unwell even after the holidays. she ends up going to see a doctor and with the news she is given she makes a plan to distance herself from Brad, due to this news. However when the 3 months is up for her to go home for easter break she can't face going and makes excuses to start on at college stating that she has to work. However Karen turns up at her dorm to demand what the hell is going on with her best friend only to discover the reason why Rachel is pushing everyone away. Karen gives her a week to come clean about her situation however Rachel knows that the one person Karen wont be able to hide her secret from for the week is her Brother Brad who's life will also change with her news so she makes a plan to go to Brad and tell him whats happening before his sister can tell him. When she gets to Brads she believes that Brad has moved on. While Brad ties to tell her that its not what she thinks he gets a text from his sister telling him she needs to tell him something. after Rachel pours her heart out when she comes clean Brad is over the moon and they share a steamy encounter and now have to come up with a new plan one that includes Brad in it.
I can not wait for part four of this series to see what happens next with the two of them. this story is gripping and i cant put it down. Sharon Cummin is becoming a great favorite of mine to read
In order to understand the series of events that led up to this third installment, you must read parts 1 & 2. Otherwise, it would be like switching the channel to an interesting movie, only to realize that it’s half way over and you don’t know what’s going on.
Part three really is a turning point in the story and where it gets most interesting. Poor Rachel. She really is having a tough time with her relationship with Brad. All she wants to do is go to school and act like a normal student. We find Rachel growing more as a character and the life decisions that she has to make, will have her come face to face with the fact that she has to act like an adult. She still hasn’t put her full trust into Brad and I feel that their relationship still needs to mature.
Even though Brad is still a little over protective, he really made a good impression on me with his reaction to Rachel’s surprise news. As it was a turning point for the story, it is with their relationship as well. It can only get more interesting from here on.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*
This review is for A CRUSH ON HER BEST FRIENDS BROTHER, Part 3 by Sharon Cummin You really need to read parts 1&2 or you will be lost as to what is happening in this page turner. This story is like a fine wine, it just keeps getting better and better as it ages. I kind of thought this might happen but yet it was a surprise all the same (read the story, yes I am withholding the storyline). How long can Brad and Rachel keep their relationship a secret? Will their relationship survive this latest bump in the road? What will happen when their families find out they are dating? Oh my....ahem.... My nose was stuck in this book. I was emotional along with Rachel; when she started crying, so did I. She was really pulling me into the book. This book is about real life situations that happen to young people today and how this couple is trying to make their relationship work. I loved it; I want more. It was spellbinding, sensational, stupendous. It is going to be a very suspenseful time until the last installment of this series comes out. I really want answers to so many questions that are running through my head right now. Please, get all three of these books and read them, I'm sure you will love them. Definitely 5 Stars!

Rachel and Brad have decided to keep their relationship a secret until it's the right time to tell their families. But for Rachel it may come sooner than later.
When she finds out she's pregnant with her best friends brother she decides to back off and go about it on her own so that brad can have his football career and not worry about going tied down.
Brad thinks that she's found someone else and doesn't care for him which could be the farthest from the truth. When he finds out why she's been pushing he's blown away but doesn't love her any less.
I have loved this series and can't wait for more! I wish it was all one full length novel because I'm impatient!!! But I have enjoyed reading it!
At least this one had more in it than just sex scenes, but that's only because the MCs were apart. I didn't like one particular element of the plot in this part of the series and I know other readers might take exception to it as well.
Same thoughts as the previous two parts. The writing isn't great. We still don't know much about either MC or their back story. We get a hint of it toward the end, but it needed to be developed much more. As it is, the MCs and their story aren't all that compelling.
Crush 3. Rachel is devastated that she is now pregnant with Brad's baby. She doesn't know how to tell anyone. So she decides not to. She decides not to go home for spring break but to stay and work to get enough money for her and the baby. Karen shows up and discovers Rachel is pregnant. She promises to not say anything to anyone but she is too excited. Now Rachel must tell Brad because she knows Karen is going to tell him. She flies to see Brad and she thinks that something else is going on.
At this point in the series, you have to have read the first 2 books. There are some twists, and I don't want to give those away. But, there are some intense moments where decisions have to be made and lines are drawn. Sharon Cummin has an uncanny way of writing all of her stories in such a way that you could believe everything that is happening, as if it were true to life. Another great book and I can't wait to see how this series ends!
This is such a sweet story with two great characters. Brad keeps surprising me with each new book. He is such a great guy and I like Rachel brings that out in him. Rachel shy timid and sweet. I liked that she wants something more for herself and Brad especially when things get complicated. This series is a must read. I'm dying to know what happens next can't wait!
So much is going on with Rachel that she pushes Brad away, she thinks she is doing what's best for both of them but her emotions are all over the place. Brad is very protective of Rachel and doesn't understand what's going on until she turns up on his front door. very well written, with lots of action, you really do fall for this young couple
I loved it. I have a love and hate relationship with Sharon and is because how short the stories are and always leave me like a drug addict wanting the next fix. It took me less than an hour to read this. And i cant wait for the damn last book. I like the story but her books are too damn short.
I really like this story. The characters are great. The only thing that I don't like is the overuse of the words "she wondered". Other than that its a great read and can't wait to see what happens in book 4.
and the story continues...what will Rachel do? Will she tell Brad? you will find out by the end of this book what her plan is. great story. love the characters.
