Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.
Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.
Good book for Artist Biographies: Bob Dylan; Frida Kahlo; Claude Monet; Pablo Picasso; Maria Tallchief; Andy Warhol. Didn’t go too in-depth but gave enough information so you know a bit about them.
I really enjoyed learning about each of these different artists. So creative and accomplished in each their own way. Different personalities and backgrounds.
A good companion for my long walks this book does a good job introducing you to a variety of era-defining artists. The book does not pretend to be super in-depth but reading it you are bound to understand the historic context and catch glimpses of personal lives behind these iconic names as well as be introduced to the genres that are defined by these artists.
When you borrow a book on Libby for your kid, but then you don’t want to stop listening because YOU are learning so much. Seriously, the perfect little bite sized history lessons that lead us to lots of great discussion!
This is a good collection of short biographies. It clearly covers who these people were in the world and how they influenced the world around them. These audiobooks are very educational.
