Oliver Mark has found the perfect house. Old, abandoned on the outskirts of Angel Hill where no one lives, it’s the perfect place for he and his girlfriend to make a life together. But when Oliver breaks into the place to explore his new treasure, he finds himself lost in a maze of confusion and spatial anomaly. After losing his job and getting kicked out of his friend’s house, Oliver just wants a place to build a new life, but this house wasn’t constructed using the physical laws we all take for granted. Some rooms are far larger than they should be, one room tricks him into thinking he’s outside, and several others make him confront fears he never knew he had.As he faces madness, despair, and terror on a level he’d never imagined, he has to focus on just one get out of the house before he finds himself trapped here forever.HOUSEQUAKE is HOUSE OF LEAVES meets CUBE.
C. Dennis Moore is the author of the Angel Hill novels, the Monsters of Green Lake series, as well as the Holiday Horrors. He lives in St. Joseph, MO with his wife, Kara. They have seven children and three grandchildren. His website is www.cdennismoore.com
Another Angel Hill story that is filled with twists, turns and in this case a house that is a maze controlled by a dark force. This Angle Hill story ranks as one of my favorites, while all are good, this one is one of the best of the bunch. Hopefully, there won’t be to many nightmares as a result of an evening in Angel Hill. I received a copy of Housequake from an author promotion and chose to provide this review.
Housequake: an Angel Hill novel (Angel Hill #4), my thirty-sixth read from author C. Dennis Moore. Another well-written & enjoyable read in his Angel Hill series. Move over Stephen King, you've got undiscovered competition. More people need to read Moore's work and he'll challenge the king of horror! I always look forward to the next work from him. I bought a Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. I look forward to reading more from this author. Time to read yet another Angel Hill book.
