I normally avoid stories that feature love triangles, but this one's blurb had a different vibe to it. I liked how the premise was realistic and made me not so annoyed with the h. She wasn't a very nice person to the H in the beginning, but she developed and changed into someone who wanted to be better. Unfortunately, the first person narrative style was too much telling, not enough showing, and I found the overall story boring.

Casey breaks up with Jason because he doesn't want children and moves from Vermont to Colorado for a fresh start. There she meets Blaine, a total sweetheart who loves kids, but being with him makes Casey realize just how hot the sparks were between her and Jason. She begins to realize she can't have it all. Things get interesting when Jason ends up moving to town and a roller coaster of emotions plague Casey.

To be honest, this book was a bit depressing. I mean, Casey wants kids and probably shouldn't be with a guy that doesn't - I got it, don't settle. But then she moves across the country and can't find a guy that wants kids AND she can have hot sex with, so she considers settling for that?? I was seriously wondering if we were ever going to get a HEA. It finally came, but geez it was a struggle; I almost rated this a 2. Smut factor is a 2.5 out of 5. Things are exciting at the beginning and end of the book, but there is a long dry patch in the middle.

Love isn't easy when you both want different things. Casey and Jason love each other but he is unwilling to consider having children and children are something that are very important to her. They can't resist each other so she leaves to put distance and try to find a man that can meet all her needs. She meets a nice guy but there are issues and secrets that keep it from being the complete package she is looking for. When Jason comes to her new town, she will have to make some difficult decisions about her future.

It is a very realistic storyline. Many couples struggle with the decision about whether or not to have children. The story is told from only Casey's POV so it takes some time to understand where Jason is coming from in regard to his decision making. People look for someone to meet all their needs and sometimes that is just not the case and you have to make some compromises that you can both live with and accept.

I enjoyed the story and the characters. It is a pretty quick read with a steady storyline that is really focused on the relationship issues.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

3.5 stars I think but I rounded up. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. Starting off it kind of threw me, but it turned out to be a really good 2nd chance romance, simple with not a lot of action, and the adversity was a little meh, but it was still enjoyable.

I started off with the same mindset as our FMC Casey Cassidy (yep that's her name), "why settle." Casey has been in a relationship with Male MC Jason, thinks were going great, super awesome chemistry but they want different things. Casey is ready for a family and Jason is not down. So in an attempt to move on with her life Casey moves away and starts over trying to find what she wants, only to realize that there may not be a mister "right." In her effort to find him she starts dating Blaine who seems to be moving really fast, and doesn't have any chemistry like her and Jason did, but he wants kids sooo.... Turns out Blaine isn't all that right, he has some issues of his own. I was still on the why settle mindset until this quote:
Heather pulls on a wool hat. “I came here almost ten years ago. I was searching for Mr. Right.” Lori asks, “Did you find him?” Heather shakes her head. “Nope, I’m still single. Turns out Mr. Right is the one I left at home. I was so hell-bent on having a family that I never realized there’s no guarantee. Ten years later I have no family, and the love of my life is married to someone else. The kicker? He ended up having kids after all.”

And there is is folks... I thought it was pretty profound.. there are a lot of times we come to a fork in the road where we think we want something else but in all actuality we really want what we have and more.. Its definitely a difficult trap to fall into. All in all I liked the book, very fast, light, and enjoyable read. Great for a rainy day!

Her descriptions of Colorado and the life of a Ski instructor are so real that I thought I was there in real life.

We have Casey Cassidy who knows what she wants from a husband and a marriage. The man she is in love with Jason, meets all the requirements except he doesn't want a family. That's a deal breaker for Casey so she moves to
Breckenridge, Colorado and becomes a Ski instructor, where she meets Blaine. Blaine seemed to be the perfect man for Casey. He wants all the same things she wants in a relationship. There is just one problem, there is no chemistry. Is Casey going to ignore the obvious signs that Blaine is keeping a secret, just to have the perfect marriage on paper or is she going to give Jason a chance when he follows her to Colorado. Read this book to see if Casey sticks with her list of the things she wants in a marriage or will she follow her heart to true love.

This is a great begin to a new series for Violet.
I look forward to reading more books from Violet Vaughn to the future.

CRAVING FOR LOVE-CAPTIVATING & SIZZLING ROMANCE

This story focuses on; CASEY, a sassy, sexy beautiful ski instructor; JASON, a strikingly gorgeous heart-stirring ski instructor, and Casey’s ex-boyfriend; Blaine; a strikingly handsome ski instructor.

What you’ll find in this story; a cast of remarkably impressive and engaging characters, spectacular story-line, picturesque and dynamic vivid scene descriptions, superb banter, camaraderie, gripping suspense, emotions spiral, pent-up tension, gut-wrenching moments, earth-shattering heart-throbbing sensual romance, and a heart melting conclusion that leaves you wanting more.

Casey broke up with Jason because she desperately wants children, and Jason does not. Finding it hard living in the same town as him she moves from her home to Colorado in the hopes of starting a new life without Jason. She is lucky enough to find a job cleaning resort rentals, and living accommodations in an all girls boarding house with a no drinking rule, and no male visitors. She makes friends easily and is introduced to Blaine, a ski instructor. To Casey’s delight she eventually ends up landing a job as a ski instructor. Blaine and Casey have a dating relationship and she believes she has found her dream man. When Jason shows up and lands a job as a ski instructor on the same mountain, Casey begins to question everything she has wanted in a relationship. Blaine has kept a secret from Casey, but so has Jason. The three face challenges; it is a time to grow and face the demons that haunt each of them, and a time to realize what each one really wants to make them have a blissful life.

A FANTASTIC fast paced well written creative read by a truly gifted author. The fusion of authenticity and fantasy make this an impressive story. The author does not disappoint in giving readers an entertaining story with an intriguing plot, fabulous dialogue, and breathtaking scene descriptions to keep you glued from start to finish. Though Casey has a sassy persona she is kind and turns out to be a most considerate friend when the going gets rough. The chemistry between Casey and Jason is more than convincing, and their romance is filled with fiery passion and unwavering devotion. I loved this story, as it was a most gratifying read. If you treasure fantasy romance this is a terrific book for your library. {I was gifted this book, and this is my complete honest review}. In the world of fantasy romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservation I recommend this book.

I started and finished this book on June 5, 2016. I was lead to believe, after many pages on sex with a guy she was in love with, the heroine gave him up for a guy who wanted kids, while the first guy didn't. But the new guy relationship has a problem that she can't overcome...that is true, but I felt like I got played.
I liked the characters, for the most part and the situation, but not the heroine.

I found this book hard to rate. On one hand I liked the writing but on the other hand, the time line skipped ahead strangely in parts. I didn't understand why Tim had to die. It was glossed over and just weird.

This was just horrible.

Jason and Casey have a horrid relationship. Casey wants kids and a family and Jason doesn't so she breaks up with him and moves west to start a new life. So far, ok.

She meets a guy out there and I'm not even going to go into why I absolutely hated that part of the story line. Let's just say it doesn't work out between them.

Jason's weirdly obsessed with Casey's eating habits. He is always telling her he wants to fatten her up. Gross.

Also, like if they have been so in love with each other for so long why is it only after Jason moves out West that he finally opens up about his childhood? And why is Casey constantly told she needs to learn her dream about having a family? Some people want kids and others don't and that's ok. Why is she made to feel guilty about it?

So many problematic things in this book.

This was a cute quick read. Taking place in a ski town, I think it was the perfect time to read this one since its still winter where I am and we are covered in snow.
Only giving it three stars because I felt the romance and love triangle of this book was lacking. I mean from the beginning you knew what Jason and Casey had so when she moved and found Blaine and they had their sex "problems" you obviously figured out how the book would end. But it was still a good read and I read it in a day.

This one's a perfect warm and fuzzy love story. Gives the reader all the right feels of young and first true love. You come across a lot of young couples in the book and get to see the different twists their love stories take. This one is totally recommended for those who are fans of the romance genre.

Casey lives Jason but he doesn’t want a family and she does. So she moves to Colorado and becomes a ski instructor. She meets Blaine and has feelings for him. Hw is the perfect guy for her except for just one little thing. In the end she winds up happy and that is why I love reading stories with HEA’s.

Craving for Love

Casey wants a family and Jason doesn't, so she literally moves on to Colorado where she meets Blaine. Blaine is the whole package but isn't intimate with her. What's a girl to do? So when Jason moved to Colorado she's not sure what to do. She still loves jason. Great read.

Just okay.

I enjoyed Casey and Jason enough, but the addition of Blaine in the story was just weird. Because half of the book was Casey and Blaine playing at a relationship we never really got to know Jason all that well or Jason and Casey together. I also felt there was too much given to other characters to set up the next books. Overall nothing special.

Slow book

This book was so slow, I kept waiting for it to pick up but it never did. I would read one or two chapters and be totally bored. I didn't find the characters interesting. This book was enough for me, I won't be reading the rest of the series.

This wasn't a bad book but it wasn't great either. Casey moves away since her ex Jason doesn't want kids. Shortly after moving she meets a new guy. The problem is that he has a huge secret. This causes problems for them. In the end she does finally get her HEA though.

Snow-Kissed Love Book 1
by Violet Vaughn
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is by far is one of the neatest book I have read. The storyline within this story is not riveting, but it's interesting and obviously the real point is the love back and forth between the two characters and all of the romance. I love that so much thought was put into the way the stories are presented to the reader. It's so easy to feel like you're there with the characters and follow right along. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a Scorching Hot read with a few plot twists and, of course a fantastic love story. This storyline reminds me why I love reading romance to begin with, and it's all the better if we find someone in which to share these experiences.

Casey Cassidy is a sassy, sexy beautiful woman who loves Jason, he is the love of her life but she desperately wants children and Jason doesn't want any. Casey decides she must break up with him and find the right person who wants what she wants. But she can't stay away from Jason, she can't live with and she can't live without him. So she moves to Breckenridge, Colorado so that maybe she with get over her love for Jason. Casey finds a job cleaning resort rentals and a place to live all in a day. But living in a all girls boarding house comes with a lot of rules so her drinking and party girl lifestyle is over. Blaine who is a ski instructor enters her life, he's a great guy but the passion is lacking. What's a girl to do.

Jason Garrison is a gorgeous ski instructor, he loves Casey but he isn't sure about having kids. But it breaks his heart that Casey moved away. So he follows her even though he hasn't change his mind about kids. When he gets to Breckenridge, he is able to get a job as a ski instructor and its on the same mountain that Casey will work.
There are secrets all round between the three of them lots of problems to solve; will they be able to face each other and realize what each one needs to make them live HEA. There is drama, chemistry and romance between the characters it's scorching hot. I adore the secondary characters they are very interesting also. There are some twists and turns in this storyline. You don't want to miss this book! This is a good book to add to your TBR list. I'm excited about reading the next book. I highly recommend this book.

If you believe in the world of romance, the possibilities are endless and fascinating!

I received this for a honest review. This is a little different then what I normally read from V.Vaughn. I have to say I so enjoyed the read. It has a few twist along the way. Trust me when I say you will be surprised.

Casey is so in love with Jason. They are just so good together which is why it was very hard when she had to breakup with him. Casey had dreams and one of those dreams was she wanted kids. Jason made it very clear that though he loved her that is something he never wanted in his future.

Casey finds herself moving and leaving Jason behind. Things seem to be going very good for her. She is meeting friends and even got a new boyfriend. I work hard to try to figure out Casey’s new boyfriend Blaine. He was this nice looking sky instructor. Though he had not been dating Blaine seemed to take a liking to Casey. He seemed to care for her deeply and even in the story you find where he appears jealous, but there seems to be no fire in the bedroom. It is like Casey’s touch is like throwing a bucket of ice water on him.

You will find that Casey, Blaine, and Jason have secrets that they do not want to tell. Things become more complicated when Jason moves to were Casey is at. Casey can not seem to get Jason out of her mind and at one point I felt she was not being fair to Jason and Blaine.

I loved Clara in the story. She was one of Casey and Blaine’s friends. Clara is the one that introduces Casey and Blaine. Watching Blaine with Clare’s kids it is plan to see that Blaine would make a good father. Clara will go through so hard times and my heart really broke for Clara.

This was a great story. There was one character I did not like in the story and that was Jess. To be honest we all know a Jess in our life. If you are looking for a story with love, passion, and a few lesson along the way this is the story for you.

I was given an ARC of 'Craving for Love' from Violet Vaughn, in exchange for an honest review.

What would happen if the man you love, loves you but doesn't want to get married or have kids, when thats all you have ever wanted?? Well that's what 'Craving for Love' is all about. Casey thought she could convince Jason, but when he's still determined not to... Casey can't stay in the same town as Jason, so she moves to Breckenridge, Colorado to try & get over the man she loves. Getting a job as a ski instructor Casey soon meets new friends & a possible new boyfriend in Blaine. I'm stopping there, I don't want to ruin the journey Casey goes through.

I enjoyed the hard descisions Casey has to go through, although I found I wasn't riveted, I still HAD to find out just what Casey would choose... well more like who, plus the interractions between Casey & all the secondary characters was enjoyable, which made reading this enjoyable. There is drama, chemistry and romance between the characters it's scorching hot, oh my is it HOT!! 'Craving for Love' is book 1 in Violet's new series "Snow Kissed Love", I would love to read the next books in the series.
