“the Lord has exciting plans and He wants nothing more than to involve us in His plans. He has battles for us to fight, mountains for us to climb, exploits for us to perform. He waits for us to respond to this call of Jesus: ‘follow me’ — just how far are we willing to go in obeying God’s call?” 😭😭🙏

Quotes (kopierade)

The book of Acts is filled with prayer meetings; every forward thrust the first church made was immersed in prayer. Take another look at the Church at Pentecost. They prayed ten days and preached ten minutes and three thousand people were saved. Today we pray ten minutes and preach ten days and are ecstatic if anyone is saved.
Ronald Dunn

Jesus never taught his disciples how to preach, only how to pray.
Andrew Murray

In the realm of prayer there are no impossibilities. Still we hesitate.
A Christian man once told me, " It's not our place to tell God what we want him to do with His world"- which is how he described Intercessors prayer. "why not? I challenged him. God invites us - even commands us - to do it. Jesus said, "You may ask for anything in My name, and I will do it (John 14:14). Shall we decline His invitation out of false humility?

The meaning of prayer is that we get a hold of God, not of the answer. Oswald Chambers

Never forget this fact: we share the love of God with people who are hostages of satan In a world under his control. Prayer is the means by which we release the hostages.

Short and easy to read insights and encouragement about praying and interceding.

Quote mentioned in the book:
"Intercession is not petition. Intercession is position. It is not something we do - it is something we are. It is not an exercise we engage in at a certain time of the day - it is a life that we live" Ronald Dunn
