His Mate; Brothers #36

Easter Special; Three Mates - One Book

Rate this book

Welcome to spring with this Brothers Easter Special. Three sexy shifter wolves meet their witchy mates in one bumper novel of 40,000 words at normal price as a special Thank You to my readers.

It’s mating season and love is in the air, or rather eggs, raw ones, lobbed from an upstairs window, and hitting a very growly, unhappy alpha as he walked down the street.

Jesse’s first meeting with the new witch sisters didn’t go well. Egged, almost run over, and berated for just being alive - he had a plan to see those witches run out of town.

But in the supernatural world things didn’t always go to plan, and so it was for his two brothers and him that things soon took a turn for the absurd.

Wishes were made and granted - and even the Easter Bunny got in on the act, but this was mating season - so wouldn’t it follow that birds would be birds - bees would be bees, and wolves would get their mates?

How do you get past the first chapter?

How do you get past the first chapter?
Seriously, I wanna know .
All three sister were obnoxious and arrogant , and the wolf was over the top annoyed about being hit with a stupid egg.
I could decide who was worse the the really bratty sisters, who by the start of the second chapter had me wishing I could slap a little sense or or civility into . Or the overly aggressive and overly annoyed wolf who seemed to already have a chip on his shoulder towards witches. And sense when do witches equal Fae. ?
The sisters were irresponsible and bratty but his response to being with a simple egg, like it had been done on purpose just to ruin his day was so over the top.
One even almost runs him over with driving that sounds like should only be used in bumper cars or the demolition derby is sadly just as immature as her sisters and only offers lip service as an apology.
Everyone is in the one and their ALL A holes .
Plus as an added bonus their not even interesting .
Yet for some reason I’m supposed to keep reading and hope I’ll some how grow to like all these jerks and they’ll just grow on me ?
Huh ?
It’s bad enough in all those books I see where the male lead is the unlikable alpha hole ,rude and crude and manipulative, yet I’m supposed to root for him to win the girl. Yeah, no.
But here when I’m supposed to be getting introduced to and hooked on building a connection with the lead characters their all jerks and acting like immature a holes, but I’m supposed to keep reading ?
I don’t mind immature at times, some of my fave characters are but this ,this was too OTT for me right in the first chapter.
The wolf was a huge jerk, but if someone egged me and then tried to charm me and then seeing fail was like ,” Hey,get over it.” I’d be ticked too.
Bye.

Funny

It is very funny. But you should have more of the pack involved and a vampire too make it more in depth about the characters. But it was still good.

Fantastic

I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the sense of humor the witches shared, as well as the two Betas. The Alpha did not have much of a sense of humor but he had the macho snarkiness down pat. They all made great couples. Meeting the Easter Bunny however, had to be the best. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

Cute! The actual Easter Bunny was a nice touch! That was pretty cool. This was an interesting twist of events! 3 sets of mates! No vamps this time. No real conflict...except if you count the wooing. Ha. Stop eating the bunnies! That was pretty much it as far as conflict goes.
