I am the woman you see daily. There is no flash and no telltale signs I aspire to write the next great romance novel. My laptop serves as my creative outlet. In October of 2014, I decided to try my hand at writing my first romance novel. Nine months later Not Enough was born.

I live in north Texas with my husband, five-year-old son, and three rescue dogs. I spend my days working a full-time office job and evenings tending to my children (yes that includes the three fur babies and my husband). I write when I can find time in my increasingly busy life.

Loving Enough is book two in the Enough series by Nikole Bloom. This sequel or continuation of the story is well worth the time spent reading it. It grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. The plot is many layered and complex which makes for an interesting read. It is definitely a great ending for a series, although I hope she write more about the other characters.
Rylee Ash and Austin Black are somewhat together. She is still having problems trusting him. She fears he will leave her while he fears the same thing. Someone is stalking Rylee and has made threats against Austin and Jeremy. While the police are investigating, Jeremy and one of the investigating policemen are involved in a tragic car accident- or was it an accident? The officer is killed and Jeremy is in critical shape. Rylee is glued to the hospital and Jeremy’s bedside. Will he wake up? Will he ever play football again? Who could be stalking her and how did they know so much about her and her actions?
Meanwhile, Austin Black is in Houston with problems of his own. His high school girlfriend had been severely injured in an accident and she lost their baby. Her family had a restraining order against him and he hasn’t seen her since. Now his Mother says she has seen her and she had a child with her who was the age to be his. Did she lie to him nine years ago? Now Austin finds himself needing to be in two places at once- Houston and Boston. Which one will he go to? Will they find the person stalking Rylee?

I really enjoyed this book. It is suspenseful and held my interest. I wasn't sure that it was all plausible, but I turned my brain off and read it for the enjoyment of reading something different, fresh and chockfull of twists and turns that kept you on the edge of your seat, wondering what is gonna happen next. I felt the intense love that Rylee holds for Austin and vice-versa. The camaraderie throughout is hilarious and loving. It is one of those feel good, I needed this after a long day at work, dealing with the real world, type of escapism into another life of Rylee. The writing and storyline enhanced from the first book. In all, I was wrapped up in their lives and hated it to come to an end.

The preamble outlined some interesting-sounding situations, but I don't think the the book did them justice. The potential was there on many occasion, but somehow the author didn't make the most of it, and none of the scenes were ever given the drama or excitement they should have had. Pedestrian writing, weak characterisation and a slow moving narrative made it difficult to get to the end of it. The book skimmed over the surface of some very interesting psychological turns of events, but the way the story was told left me unable to care about any of the characters or what happened to them.
I'm afraid it was hard to find a redeeming feature to make me give it more than two stars.

Although this a follow-on book from Not Enough, you don’t have to have read the first book to enjoy the latest twists to Rylee and Austin’s lives. I found the first half of the book gripping as the suspense surrounding Rylee’s stalker built.
Written in the first person, but from multiple viewpoints this book hooked me from the beginning with Austin’s opening prologue. Just like the first book, Loving Enough is not short of surprises, but it’s underlying theme of love, family and good friends makes it a thoroughly heart-warming read.
