Grave Decisions
Halloween has always been one of Maddie Graves’ favorite days, and this season things are going to be more special than ever because it’s her first big holiday with her live-in love Nick Winters.
Nick is keen to make sure Maddie has the time of her life, but the arrival of a popular author and purported psychic in Blackstone Bay has him working overtime to provide protection. A local political group rallies against Cooper Ashton because they believe he’s a scam artist bilking people out of their money.
Nick has his hands full with warring factions because Ashton’s fan club is almost exclusively made up of awed women who have a crush on the dashing man. For his part, Ashton seems to enjoy the attention – both positive and negative – even as he fixes his attention on Maddie.
Christy is one of the women fawning over Ashton, and when a body is found at one of Blackstone Bay’s festival attractions Nick has more suspects than he can wrangle.

I think this one is one of my favorite stories so far, I would have given it 5 stars but Christy really mad me mad in this one.
Another fair has come around for halloween in Blackstone Bay, and a "celebrity" author is coming through. He claims hes a psychic, and for some reason Christy, Cassidy, Marla, and basically every woman except maddie and Maude think he is just the greatest thing ever.
He starts by "finding" a body in the corn maze. He then start to kind of stalk maddie, trying to get her to admit that shes a psychic, and when that doesn't work he starts to tell everyone shes a fraud. Cassidy and Marla start attacking Maddie again.. But the real kicker is that Christy starts to hang out with him, and tells Maddie that she is just jealous that Ashton (the author) is making money with his gifts, and that he has the confidence to tell everyone who he is.
When Maddie has a vision of a young woman being murdered before it happens and they don't end up saving her, she has another vision of Christy becoming his next victim. They think christy is being attacked, and break into her house, only to find out that she is in bed with Ashton.
Christy is super pissed and says some really hateful things to Maddie.. Like really mean, things that I don't think even if I forgave, that I would forget.
Of course when everything comes out that Ashton is a fraud, Christy is regretful and Maddie forgives her.
The whole town turns on Ashton, and the Pink Ladies while watching out for Christy play a marvelous prank on him and its pretty awsome.
However is turns out that while Ashton is a fraud, and a douche bag he is not the killer. And maddie ends up in trouble when she follows a ghost and comes face to face with him....

Grave Fraud
It's the Halloween festival and Blackstone Bay has a celebrity visitor, Cooper Ashton, writer, TV presenter and psychic. He's got a bevy of women, Marla, Cassidy and Christy among them, following him around each one determined to capture his heart and be swept off into a new life far from home.
He's determined to get Maddie to join forces with him and when she denies her abilities and puts him in his place after their first meeting. It's obvious to her he's using them for information, although, blinded by his fame, even the usually honest and upfront Christy can't see it.
When he creates a scene claiming that there's a body in the maze for dramatic effect, mocking both Maddie and Nick, he's probably made the first true prediction of his life. There is a body and it's not good, poor Cathy has been butchered.
As Maddie tries to avoid Cooper and help Nick investigate she's faced with multiple attacks from Marla and Cassidy envious of Cooper's interest in her. She's too late to stop the next death because she doesn't know the victim-to-be but when she realises Christy is next in line she's determined to protect her.
Maddie's abrupt arrival causes a bust up between the friends. It's not going to be easy to fix while Cooper is bombarding her with charm but Maddie is determined to crack the case, prove he's a fraud and win back Christy's friendship.. can she do it without losing her own life?

Highly entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series
This is a highly entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A fun cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Maddie Graves is a young woman who left town after high school because she was afraid to tell her best friend that she was psychic and could see and talk to ghost. After 10 years away her mother passed away and Maddie moved back home to stay with her grandmother and run her mothers store. She Crandalls that friendship with her long lost love and best friend Nick Winters who is a local police detective and the fun begins. Maddie her best friend her grandmother her mothers ghost and her fiancé oh are intertwined in the action to seek out who caused murders and other crimes around town. Some murders are new others are old ones that Maddie find the ghost and starts investigating and then get the police involved. Either way they’re always action packed full of mystery and intrigue and entertaining. Check them out.

I pretty much love all of Lily Harper Hart's books. I think this is the 4th series I've read of hers, and they are all fabulous fun. The characters are just outstanding - well developed with real personalities and both strengths and flaws.
Maddie is a sweet person. She's sensitive to what others think of her and her friends, and just wants to live her life in peace and happiness with Nick, her best friend since they were 5. Nick is a police officer, and has loved Maddie his whole life. They reconciled when she returned to town, and have officially moved in together.
Episode 7: A purported psychic/author comes to down, and seems determined to make Maddie admit she is too. Maddie & Nick both believe he's a fraud, and up to no good, but Maddie's best friend Christy is gaga over him. Is he responsible for the dead body in the corn maze? Will they figure it out in time to save Maddie?

Very good
I really like the bladder back and forth between everyone. The story line is great the twists at the end are great you can never figure out who did it. I'm getting a little tired of Nick's content I can't live with out you. Its grading on my nerves. If its all threw the next book I don't think I'll continue to read. I gave 4 stars for that reason . I love how bold and independent she is getting. She is standing up for herself and has a lot more confidence. Now if Nick can grow instead of being so overly perfective we would have a5 star book.

Fun
Maddie and Nick are so stinkin' cute! Their relationship is an excellent balance for the depraved occurrences in town. With a fine police force on the case, and both Maddie and her mother becoming stronger, AND a steadily increasing base of supporters...well, evil doesn't stand a chance in Blackstone Bay! The mystery seems to lack a certain something but the characters are as entertaining as ever, and even the bit of tension with Christy is welcome and needed. I'm loving this series!

I would give this author more stars if she'd tone down the silly conversations between Nick and Maddie and up the actually story line. The plots are awesome, as is Maddie, especially if the Lily Harper Hart would emphasis and grow Maddie's talents. Until the unneeded "romance" and conversations between Nick and Maddie are reeled in, I will continue to give lesser stars. I would love to read a story between the two that was just about the "murder" they become involved in and see some magic develop in Maddie. Here's hoping!

This book was slightly different to the previous ones.
An alleged famous psychic comes to the town and unearths a dead body at the haunted maze. Christy, Maddie's best friend gets involved with him and misunderstandings occur between Maddie and Christy. Will they get their friendship back on track? Will they unravel the mystery of the psychic?
Maddie is now becoming more confident. I love her one liners to people who annoy her. So funny.

When a celebrity psychic comes to town touting his psychic abilities, Maddie knows immediately that he's a fake. When he declares there's a dead body in the fun house at the town's Halloween festival and a dead body is actually found, he becomes a murder suspect. He's also infatuated with Maddie and calls her out as a real psychic. It's a convoluted mess as another body turns up. The ending is a huge surprise!

This is my favorite since the first. Don’t give up, I’ve only made it this far! I like the new Maddie. It’s about damn time she decided to be happy!
I enjoy the other characters and darn love this town but watching Maddie stand alone and still standing? That’s just phenomenal!

Fabulous Halloween Book
This book in the series has a proclaimed psychic that practically everyone enjoys hating. When murders start happening around him, our favorite characters wonder —with us—-if he is to blame. And what happens if he discovers and reveals Maddie’s secret? Very suspenseful. My favorite part is watching Maude plotting with her friends.

Enjoyable
I'm enjoying this series more and more. Still not my favorite of her series ' but glad I have it another chance.
This one was very entertaining. Liked the fake psychic angle. Christy is maybe getting a love interest and Maddie's mom is getting stronger. Lot of great tidbits and fun to go along with this murder mystery.

Celebrity psychic comes to town - Halloween
For the town Halloween festival, a celebrity (book and TV) so-called psychic will be there. He enchants the single women but goes after Maddie, presumably to challenge the local psychic. Meanwhile, there are a couple murders. Is it the fake psychic? Or someone else.

This was another winner. I love this series. I love this author as she writes wonderful paranormal mysteries. I have read over 50 of her books and 10 or different t series. Always an interesting & enjoyable storyline!
This is another fascinating series by Lily Harper Hart! I very much enjoyed her Ghostly series and delved into this series and the Speakeasy series. I also really love the series that combines several of the female main characters in several of her other series.

Interestingly I downloaded see how they run by Tom bale on kindle. When I was a few chapters in I thought, this isn’t what I normally read so I looked it up and turns out the title and the cover I downloaded are somehow mixed up.
Anyway, I had to finish it. It was an easy, light read but not really my style!

Another festival, another murder and of course Maddie walks away with a ghost to her demise. Still, fairly enjoyable. Christy's actions really shocked me. I'm glad Granny had a hand in the action this time.

Glad to see Maddie and Nick moving beyond the whiny “we screwed up I love you so much ugh I was so awful” stuff and more into a tight plot with a good mystery and their relationship developing. I almost gave up on the series but I’m glad I stuck with it.

I am loving the Maddie Graves Mysteries. I have loved most of the characters. My favorite character is Maude. I love the shenanigans she gets herself into. After Maude my other favorite characters are Maddie and Nick. Keep those stories coming!

Have read seven now and enjoyed each one of them. With each one there’s more mysteries and the love between them is what everyone wants. Her being a witch and psychic and talk’s with ghost is icing on the cake. Recommend it to everyone

Good read
Book 7 is all about Halloween hijinks, murders, a madman, ghosts, a fake psychic, and love. All the women are drooling over a TV psychic, except Maddie. Highly entertaining.

This one was scary. !
I like new people as I mention before, but when the author sidelines me with a totally different bad person , I loved it. Maddie’s grandmother and her posse ( the Pink Ladies) always takes part as usual. Love it.
