I'm D. Camille and I am an avid reader and author. I started reading romance books when I was thirteen and since then I've read hundreds. I wanted to write a series that contained the culture and history of the African and African American people.

I like to utilize historical information, science and ancient beliefs. I write for people to enjoy, think, analyze and learn; not only about the characters but hopefully also about themselves. INTRIGUING storyline and ENGAGING cast of characters...NOT as CAPTIVATING as the Black Diamond series...but this is just the FIRST book...but it still kept me turning the pages to see where the romance between Marcus and Isis would lead...although I found Isis to be a teeny bit annoying...and the dialogue between this couple to be almost tooth-decaying SWEET...still the mystery/suspense/action kept me turning the pages...ENJOYED catching up w/the Black Diamonds and their ever growing circle of family/friends...still looking forward to the next book in this series.

The FBI Man Down for Love

I loved Marcus from the first time I read about him with his platinum eyes! Isis was going to be a challenge but I didn't expect my strong FBI man to go down in love without a fight!!! Loved the story and catching up with The Black Diamonds but dang.......Marcus loss some cool points.....he's still FINE....loving Isis is his kryptonite!!!

Very Good Read Graham and ISIS story. Very good balance of suspense and romance. D. Camille is very talented writer he does not disappoint. I am coming to realize that all of the books I have read by D. Camille are just excellent.

Great Read

I really enjoyed Marcus and Isis' story. I'm glad Isis finally saw her father for the person that he really was. I was also glad that Marcus was able to start mending his relationship with his family. I really like Marcus and Isis as a couple.

I don't like Callie. Didn't like her when she was first introduced and I dislike her even more with each book. Isis was not interested in Trent and she didn't want him. I don't know why Callie was so insecure and jealous. Marcus, Isis and Trent didn't think it was a big deal for Trent to escort Isis to the ball as part of their mission. Callie was the only one who kept insisting that it was a date. She really got on my nerves. I don't know why she was part of Isis and Marcus' wedding. I guess Isis was way more mature and a bigger person than Callie. If I read where Trent calls her his "shero" again I'm going to scream.

I'm looking forward to more of the stories in the series, but not necessarily Callie and Trent's though. I really like Trent, but Callie, not so much.

Loved this book with the Uncut Diamonds. FBI agent Marc Graham is one of the main characters. We find out more about him and how he became the man he is. Isis Martin discovers her father really was not all she wanted him to be. Dr Camille makes a reappearance and The Black Diamonds have several major surprises.

Isis becomes a woman and Marc is her master teacher. Trent and Callie are in for a couple of major surprises. Ray and Isabelle have solidified their marriage in a major way. Jordan Sage and Diamond welcome a new addition. Lily and Sean are as cute as ever. Someone is stalking the Diamonds. Someone is pulling strings and infiltrating their lives with an ulterior motive. Could it be someone who is presumed dead?

Great job Ms. D Camille..can't wait for next book in the series..

Hmmmm what a tangled web we weave.......Wow what can I say without giving away the plot? Ms Camille is at the top of her game with Her Shield., in this novel the main characters are Marcus and Isis whose chemistry is on fire ... I felt their struggle with past issues dealing with family and how they would protect each other from pain ,loss and danger.
The Black Diamonds and the Uncut Diamonds are fierce ,loyal, and will protect family and friends. This is the best romantic suspense , intrigue ,mystery with the old saying things are never always what they seem to be. Oooh whee and the plot thickens ,can't wait for the next novel in this series.. Awesome Ms Camille

uncut

i truly enjoy thus series. i love reading about black men and women doing something other than being hood. however I'm not a fan of the Martin sisters. so it made it hard to like this book. Isis like her sister is a spoiled brat. they both were foux naive and i think they use it to manipulate people. i felt she was so childish and her need to say daddy all the time was annoying. i actually like shana more than Isis. i couldnt see what was so wonderful about her and Marcus said he loved her cause she is strong, but i havent seen it. i hope she is not part of the team cause she isnt useful.

Really Good

I am truly amazed every time I read something of this writer's I am just blown away.This my have been a story of the Uncut Diamonds,but let me tell you they handled business like the big boys.I love that we are getting a chance to not only mature but we are also getting glimpses of our favorite families.This was romance and action with some mystery mixed in to make this a well balanced story all around.The romance is just as sizzling as it is romantic,not to mention sexy.This was a very worthy spin-off and a great addition to a wonderful series.

Fantastic Beginning

I have found yet another Author who knows how to tell a story that not only pulls you in, but makes you feel a part of it.

Great start to the Uncut Series. The Black Diamond series is one of my favorite series. I really enjoyed Marcus and Isis' story. It was very entertaining. It was great to catch up with characters from the Black Diamond Series. I love the combination of mystery and black love. Good job D. Camille. I love your creativity. Amazing

So amazing from beginning to end. I can't wait to see what's next for the uncut Diamonds. As well as the unveiling of all these new mysteries. I have my theories and I really believe I am correct. These new set of diamonds are nothing to play with. I would hate to see anything or anyone get in their way.
