I liked the other books but this one I found boring and I didn't care much for Gretchen. She tried to be tough but everytime you turn around she is crying. Her and Derrick both tried to act like this was just sex. However, it never was. Thankfully in the end it all worked out.

This was a pretty decent book. I thought it would be one of those sappy romance books, but it surprisingly wasn't that bad. It moved a little fast and I wasn't crazy about the main characters, but the supporting characters and setting helped me like it better.

The author shows that not only is communication important in a relationship, but truly listening to each other without jumping to conclusions is just as important. Derrick does prove himself to be not only a worthy partner but a devoted one as well. Gretchen faces challenges, but aces them all. I loved this story, a most memorable gratifying read. If you treasure fantasy romance this is definitely a fantastic book for your library. I was gifted this book, and this is my completely truthful review}. This is a very enjoyable story. I have read all three books in this series and I enjoyed them all, but I'm a incurable romantic. I love reading Violet Vaughn books So I may be biased about her stories. But if you are like I am and you love reading romance then this book and series is one to enjoy. The storyline is fantastic and entertaining. The characters are what you expect them witty. I love when the heroine is confident with herself. The hero is heart-stopping panties dropping gorgeous and of course we all want the one all the ladies want but can't have type of man. The dialogue is witty, sexy and you may need fan or something else when you read this. Violet Vaughn books are so creative, imaginative, loveable and entertaining. Her books are well pace, well written with the characters being well developed. She is one of my go to authors. I will buy her books on her name only. Now if you don't like contempary romance that's scorching hot and the fact the ending is a HEA this may not be the book or series for you, which makes me a little bit sad but I understand this isn't for everyone. But believe me if you want to escape into the world of romance this will be a book and series that you will enjoy. I am always excited about reading a book written by Violet Vaughn.

Such a hot, sexy and sweet book, this 3rd in the Snow-Kissed Love series continues with Gretchen's story.
Gretchen is a world class snow boarder preparing for the Olympic trials. She doesn't have time for a boyfriend or relationships as they'll only get in the way of her dreams. The adrenalin junkie in her is just fine with a little rough sex now and then as long as the guy doesn't get serious. If he does, it's over.
Derrick and his sister Nika meet Gretchen in an extremely bizzarre way but when he walks in to the golf course grill where she bartends they have a chance to get to know each other a little more. Derrick is all about hot sex with no expectations and if he can get it on the rougher side, all the better. It seems the adrenaline junkie in Gretchen may just meet the edgy needs he has.
These two are so determined to play the field, keep things fun and exciting with absolutely no feelings aloud that neither is prepared for what happens. Caught off guard when they realize the sex is incredible and they have a lot of similar interests, neither is prepared for the emotions that sneek in.
I loved the relationship that quickly developed between Gretchen and Nika. It was also fun to watch the relationship between Gretchen and all her girl friends and how Gretchen is realizing that she is always a 3rd or 5th wheel since her friends all have boyfriends. She is starting to realize that maybe she can have it all and maybe she can have it with Derrick. It was even more hilarious to watch the quick progression of Derrick's fall. Funny, exciting and a little drama thrown in make this book a very enjoyable read.

I don't understand the appeal and high ratings for this book/series. I read them quickly because I'm behind on my challenge and now have less than 24 hours to finish. I skimmed a lot of this after derrick talked about googling Gretchen, blah blah blah. That's just creepy. He needs to be in control, blah blah blah. Boring characters, boring stories, glad to be done.

This book kept me up until 3 a.m. reading....if that doesn't vouch for how good it is, I don't know what will!
This might be the third book in the series, but it is easily read as a standalone. It's nice to see old friends from the previous book, but they aren't the main focus at all. I loved reading about Gretchen and Derrick and was totally on board with how their relationship progressed. I liked how they worked through their troubles. And I really loved how Gretchen wasn't one to wallow in things.
It was a fun read all around!

This book kept me reading for hours on stretch....I think that speaks for how good it is!
Though this is the third book in the series, you can easily read it as a standalone. Old friends make a return from the previous book, but they just play minor roles along the sidelines. Gretchen and Derrick are strong characters that add zing to the book all by themselves.

2.5 stars. This was ok - but what’s the deal with everything being about smell?! Honestly it felt like every scene was focussed on what people smelled like! It fell flat in several ways for me, and left many things touched on but not developed properly, but the whole odour thing was overdone and just weird.

This was by far my favorite book in the series. Gretchen doesn’t do relationships and neither does Derrick. But.....they actually work good together. Definitely not each others type but somehow through everything they still get a HEA.

I was given a complimentary copy of 'Rush for Love' from Violet Vaughn, in exchange for an honest review.
I'm really enjoying this series by Violet, I couldn't wait to start reading 'Rush for Love'... especially when I found out this was Gretchen's book. Something about this character in the first 2 books made me NEED to read her story. Oh boy Grecthen was funny before, but she came forth, letting you understand her reluctance in finding love, her loyalty to her friends old & new. On her way home to Breckenridge she finds herself changing seats with Mr. Hunk & making a new friend who's just moved to the area. (That whole situation was crazy!) Getting into her car, he finds herself catching a runaway pup & meeting her travel mate & the hunk.
Oh boy, what electricty Gretchen & Mr. Hunk produce, finding them both to be commitement phobes & how their relationship progresses was a fun read. 'Rush for Love' is book 3 in Violet's latest series "Snow Kissed Love", I would love to read the next books in the series.

Ms. Vaughn has written another terriffic book! The story is fast paced and will grab your attention and keep you reading until you finish the last page. I really like the characters in this series, they are intersting and have their faults but very likable. I was anxious to read Gretchen's story and I wasn't disappointed! Ms. Vaughn has a way of putting the reader right in the middle of the story so you feel a part of it.
Even though this can be read as a stand-alone, you would benefit from reading at the beginning. This way you will get all the connections to the various characters and their stories. Ms. Vaughn does a superb job of integrating the information into the story without giving too much away.

I adore this series!! This book is very well written with witty dialog, sexy, hot, and sensual scenes, along with emotional romance. Gretchen is a snowboarder with Olympic aspirations. She is I her way home an a plane when the passenger in the seat beside her passes away. She meets Derrick, am EMT when he takes her seat to evaluate the passenger. She takes his seat and meets his twin Danika. Let the adventures in love begin. It endearing to read about a male character who is nervous and shows it unknowingly. Derrick has a hard shell with with a soft heart. Gretchen usually likes men with Tattoos and piercings. Derrick has nether yet she is drawn to him. Can they make it work? Will she ever get the chance at the Olympics?

This book 3 in the Snow-Kissed Series by Violet Vaughn. Each book is a stand alone story with a new couple and no cliffhangers. But it's my opinion that you will get a better knowledge of the characters if you read the books in order. This issues is about the sassy, spunky, snowboarding Olympic hopeful Gretchen Nickelson and careful, mysterious and sexy Derrick Hamilton. The story line is full of steamy scenes, funny characters, a lot of snow, romance, heartbreaking moments and drama. No spoilers!! I have to sat that so far this is the hotter story, this books are getting better and better. Can't wait for the next book couple!

Received the book for an honest review. Rush for Love is the third book in the Snow Kissed Series. Gretchen is an Olympic hopeful who doesn't believe in love or commitment. Derrick is the serious type who takes what he needs whenever he wants. When these two meet sparks fly. Gretchen and Derrick manage to go from pissing each other off to wanting to jump each other's bones. While those around them try to tear them apart with half truths and speculation, can they find true happiness or will it go up in flames? Great story with drama, suspense, romance and sexy scenes. Each book in this series can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend you read them in order as all the characters are intertwined and you get more background history.

Book Three in the Snow-Kissed Love series I am enjoying these books and what the next one. Gretchen Nickelson is a Olympic hopeful snowboarder she is flying back to Breckenridge when something happens to the passenger beside her. She meets Derrick Hamilton when he comes to her aid , they trade seats and Gretchen also meets his sister Nika,Nika decides to do some matchmaking. What happens? This is a sweet winter romance book that turns into something more. Fast paced and well written, this book brings you into the lives of a young woman that only wants to go to the olympics and a young man that only wants what he can take with no commitment. You feel like yo are in their lives as the pages unfold their dreams and desires and they find in each other something they wouldn't allow themselves to want. I was gifted this book for an honest review and it's a must read

This romance is a real rush. A competitive snowboarder and a ski patrol/medical student fall head over heals for each other. Each character brings their own story, and I hope this author considers more stories from the secondary characters in this book. Their is no end of drama and suspense in this story, it is a real page turner. I loved this story. The ending was very unexpected, but, somehow is still happy.

And so life in Breckinridge continues. Gretchen has way more to her than she likes others to see. Without giving anything away Vaughn continues to address a few current issues in a very real way. Looking forward to book 4!
