This is a wonderful story about Megan and Nick. They have been together four 3 years, but she has a deadline on her birthday. Will it hurt their relationship or make them stronger.
This was a good read. Megan and Nick have been dating for a few years. She unfortunately never told him who her family really was and that she had to take over the family business. Nick decides to move with her and try to make it work. It didn't go well at first but by the end they decide they love each too much. They find a way in the end and get their HEA.
Did not pan out as I expected is a little slow to gain traction and then wanders off. Megan and Nick H/H have an interesting relationship but not enough is explained about their lives in Colorado skiing before we move to the Hamptons in New York. A little disjointed when she takes over as CEO of her mother’s company but no background as to the how, why and wherefore. I recommend you read it for yourself and make up your own mind 2.5 Stars from me
This was such a sweet book. Violet Vaughn weaves a heart wrenching story of two young people madly in love but torn apart when the responsibilities of one over ride the hearts desire.
Megan Donovan is living her dream as a ski instructor in Colorado and madly in love with her boyfriend of 3 years. But Megan has a huge secret and in just weeks her entire world will change. She has never told her best friends much less the love of her life what will happen on her 26th birthday. Now that time is about up and she will have to accept the inevitable; and that means giving up Nick for good. Her heart may not survive.
Nick Merrill has approached the topic of marriage with Megan several times but can't quite put his finger on her issues with making their relationship permanent. They've been working together and living their dream life for 3 years and he knows she feels the same love for him that he has for her. So what is holding her back?
I laughed, I cried. I loved that this book was about mature, reasonable young adults determined to do the right thing even though it meant tragic consequences for them self. Sometimes growing up means accepting what you cannot change and moving forward at any cost. I didn't want it to end.
The author saved the best for last. I loved that the series follows a group of friends and you get to see them in each story. But they do not take the main focus off the couple the book is about. I loved that each book is different. Each couple has their own things they need to work through and not one of them is the same. This book was so many emotions of up and down. I just hurts for Megan and Nick. I had points in the middle of the book where I was mentally begging the author to somehow fix things for these two. Loved the ending and hope to read about Megan's sister in another book! I don't want to be finished with these people!
This story is a different concept in that, at the start, the MC’s have been together for 3 years. Their whole world is turned upside down thanks to Megan’s sizable inheritance and the conditions that go with it, so they have to find a way to keep the love alive. I felt that, for someone who so vehemently resisted joining the family business right up until the last minute, Megan transformed into a corporate genius a little too quickly. I also didn’t like the single POV, I generally much prefer dual POV but I might have enjoyed this more if some of it was written through Nick’s eyes
The thing I enjoy most about this author is that she gets the mountain and the skiing and the people who live there right. All the trials and joy outdoors ring true. This story fit the mold. Young couple at the end of their time on the mountain. Few get to stay, and they step well into their next phase. Some fits and jerks, but overall a nice, smooth ride.
I loved this story, but I especially loved that in this story the woman is the billionaire! I did like that their struggle was so real and had a few twists and turns, but I also liked that their love seemed so pure. I would definitely read something else from this author!
I like this author because her trials for the lovers seem realistic. They make sacrifices, are sad and there's a strong sense of 'suck it up or fix it up' in her books. Another good but easy read.
This was an unique love story where Nick and Megan were already in love when the book started and then they faced the trials and problems, but I am so glad they were able to get past them. Loved it.
A good story a short romantic read .Seems there are a few to follow on from this one .......................... I would read some.more off her books ....

Will Nick accept her leaving him, or will he take matters into his own hands? Can they really make their relationship work through thick and thin?
