As a law student, Jack Severs believed he would become a champion for the rights of the People. The idealistic young lawyer takes a different career path, however, when he falls in love with the daughter of a powerful investment banker. He accepts a position in the bank's legal department and settles in for the corporate life. Then, a simple foreclosure case leads to the discovery of a series of mysterious murders and suicides, and eventually a vast conspiracy that manipulates stocks, bonds, commodities and exchange rates. Severs' job with the bank turns into a nightmare. He's learned too much, and is forced to flee for his life even as the most sophisticated electronic surveillance system ever built is deployed to track him down. While he runs from the ever-tightening noose, he continues to seek critical evidence to save himself and his world from collapsing.

Mystery, Thriller and Thought Provoking
Grabbed my attention from the beginning and didn't want to have the story end. Very thought-provoking as some of the story is true.
