Probably not actually a 5 star read, but this is my third, and I'm just enjoying the characters on the force of the 53. This time, the cops of the 53rd precinct, where cops are sent for punishment for some reason or another, are deep in several major cases. They include someone beating up old people in robberies, a kidnapping, and mostly about a cop killer.

Highly recommended, this series so far are solid police procedurals. This one is a fast read with three interesting storylines that keep you interested. Though the characters are what really make these fun reads.

Another entry in the Precinct: Siberia series. A dirty cop is shot in the back of the head. The department goes whole hog in looking for the killer. Meanwhile, Piccolo and Edmundson are looking for a missing baby, and Benton is searching for the murderer or senior citizens.

Pretty good. Piccolo is a hoot.
