Fledgling vampire hunters David Gale and Arvid Johansen are taking a few days off to relax at a leadership camp they received an invitation to. They expected campfire stories and trust falls and a little vacation from the undead. Instead, it looks like one of the local legends has come to life when campers start disappearing. Add in a beautiful vampire with a grudge against them and it looks like this will be one sleepaway camp they might not walk away from.
I'm a writer/film maker and a full time father who was born and raised at the Jersey Shore. Early on, I developed a love of horror movies, comic books and writing. I'm also a big Doctor Who fan, which is why I have a TARDIS in my basement. After going to college at Virginia Tech, I've parlayed some of what I've learned into a career, though writing is really what I want to do with my life.
As such, I've taken to self-publishing. My first novel, Lost at Comic Con, is now available at Amazon.com in paperback and for the Kindle.
In February of 2015, I released my second novel, the first part of the Friday Night Frights series entitled The Dead Next Door. If you like vampires or just like to see them killed, you should check it out.
In March 2016, the second book in the Friday Night Frights saga, The Madman of Lake Mongawonga, was released.
If you love slasher movies, this is the series for you! Book two in the Friday Night Frights series, the Madman of Lake Mongawonga brings us to a sleep away leadership camp with Dave and Arvid. It's not all trust falls and marshmallows at this camp though. Following a creepy campfire tale, campers start seeing someone who looks a lot like the killer in the story around the camp. The boys don't feel safe, especially with Tory being there as well, but no cell reception and dead phone lines don't bode well. Can they get out of camp alive? Just read it and find out already. You won't regret it.
Dear, Tory. You need to chill. Seriously, just chill out a little. I didn’t realize when I started this I was in for a direct sequel to Dead Next Door (I didn’t read the summary or back of the book because I wanted to go in blind). Stoked I did that, when characters from Eric Mosher’s first in this series showed up it was like a surprise reunion with old friends. This time we find our characters in a summer camp slasher scenario that reads like a great unmade movie. Tory is there too, just to add complications and entertainment. Mosher lays down some more seriously great dialogue between characters again, some great atmosphere, and that feeling of a plastic VHS box you just picked up from Blockbuster. Looking forward to book three! K thx.
If you are a fan of slashers this is a must read book!!! This is the second book in the Friday night frights series. This book was well written, fast paced and had a brilliant plot! So much goes Down you are in for a bloody ride. The summer camp slasher setting is just perfect addition to this series, it truly felt like a 90s horror movie! 4.5/5 stars highly recommend
